Crying Out to God

CHOICES, CHOICES, CHOICES

"If it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of Amorites, in whose land ye dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

Joshua 24:15 KJV

Write down the top five indecision's in your life.  After doing so, make a decision on each one and stick to those decisions.  Make the decisions based out of your heart, out of the whisper of God's voice - the touch of his Spirit.  Even if they seem rocky, stick to them. For if you feel that the decisions are based on Christ and his leading you will succeed - God will see to it.  Yes, there may be small changes along the way, but the changes will be easy because God's burdens are always light!  Therefore, stop floundering like a fish out of water, and just do it.  My friend, life is too precious to sit around wandering back and forth with, "What-ifs". For the only, "What-if", one needs to be concerned with is, "What if Jesus comes tonight?  Will he take me with him or will he not?".

Show yourself a woman or man of God

NIV version:

"... So be strong, show yourself a man, and observe what the Lord your God requires: walk in his ways, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and requirements... so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go..."

1 Kings 2:2-4 NIV version

Here's my version:

Be strong! Be a man or woman of God: do what God's Word says to do and listen to and follow the still, small voice of God in your heart.  Do not step aside from him, or his words; not right or left.  For if you fail him not, and follow his lead, you will succeed in everything do and everywhere you go.

Now then...

"Now then, stand still and see this great thing the Lord is about to do before your eyes."

1 Samuel 12:16

This is your day! Every day is your day! However, you will never realize it until you stop trying to control your own life.  It is time to step back, take a deep breath - STAND STILL - and let God take over, step back and watch as great things begin to happen in your life.  Yes, when you give God the reigns over your life, your life overflows with his goodness, glory, and great things for you.  

Now then, my friend, STAND STILL.

Before any action is taken, seek God first!

"... they inquired of the Lord...The Lord answered..."

Judges 20:23

Before you move, before you execute a plan you have made for yourself, be sure to inquire of God first.  For if he is not part of your plan, your plan will never succeed.  However, if you put him in charge of your plan, then victory will be yours for the taking.  

Follow no man

Judges 8:23

Follow no man!  Follow only God!  

For man leads to destruction, but God leads to life everlasting.

Go!!

"Go," the Lord said to me, "and lead these people on their way, so that they may enter and possess the land that I swore to their fathers to give them."

Deuteronomy 10:11

Go! Move! Lead!  You've been called by God.   Therefore if want the best, blessed, and most glorious life possible, then answer his call... NOW!

Oh how mighty God’s glory is!

“If the Lord is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us...the Lord is with us.  Do not be afraid of them.

...Then the glory of the Lord appeared...”

Numbers 14:8-10

When you trust in, believe in, listen to, and let God lead the way, his glory will shine ever-so-brightly in your life - leading you from glory to glory to glory.

Now go!

”Now go, lead the people to the place I spoke of, and my angel will go before you...Leave this place and go up to the land I promised... Go up to the land flowing with milk and honey...”

Exodus 32:34, 33:1-3

Stop living in fear.  Just get up, get going, move forward, and take the steps that you feel God has placed in your heart.  Don’t quit, don’t give up, and don’t worry.  God has promised to take you to lands flowing with milk and honey, but you must believe, you must trust, and you must take some bold steps.  

You can do this! God is with you and he will not fail you - EVER!!

God carries us on his wings

"... I carried you on eagles wings and brought you to myself."

Exodus 19:4

You are where you are for a purpose.  You are where you are because God has carried you there for a reason.  Therefore, look up, close your human eyes, open the eyes of your heart and let God lead. Let God carry you wherever he chooses - you won’t be disappointed.

My friend, your life means something, all you have to do is let God carry you through it so you can find out what that 'something' is.

The enslavement of falsehood

“… for a man is a slave to whatever masters him.”

2 Peter 2:19

Mastered by the false enticements of sin will eventually lead straight into the arms of Satan… forever locked inside the gates of Hell.

Open and closed doors

“What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open… See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut…” Revelation 3:7-8 NIV

When you follow Christ and let him take the lead in your life, no gates of hell can keep your God-waiting blessings from you.

Obsession in oneself

“… Obsession with self in these matters is a dead end; attention to God leads us out into the open, into a spacious, free life. Focusing on the self is the opposite of focusing on God. Anyone completely absorbed in self ignores God, ends up thinking more about self than God. That person ignores who God is and what he is doing. And God isn’t pleased at being ignored... With his Spirit living in you, your body will be as alive as Christ’s!”Romans 8:5-8, 9-11 MSG

Absorbed and obsessed with oneself is like being absorbed and obsessed with a brownie; self quickly gobbles it up, and digestion begins, which ends, as we know, into a certain darkness,  (pardon the visual - 💩💩💩 - LOL).

However, being absorbed and obsessed with Jesus is like being a newborn baby; self takes a deep breath of new life and begins to experience a fresh new energy of really wanting to live – and wanting to live to the fullest.

God and God alone

"Your salvation requires you to turn back to me and stop your silly efforts to save yourselves. Your strength will come from settling down in complete dependence on me..." 

Isaiah 30:15-17

Give up on and stop trying every man-made effort to save yourself, it isn't working, and it is time to turn to God.  Let him direct you in guidance on what you can do in your might,  who you can trust with the correct information,  and when to seek the guidance and ability to heal and help you - mentally, physically, emotionally.  

Until then, seek Him and HIM alone.  He will lead you to victory; He will lead you to salvation; He will lead you to healing; He will, He alone, will not fail you - EVER!

The real and living God in action

“No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.” 1 John 4:12

Loving another with grace, compassion, and understanding, helps see the real, and living, God in action; the real and living God that loves them unconditionally; the real and living God that will lead them to eternal life.

You are God’s living spirit in the flesh, so help others get to know Him by simply loving them to pieces.

Holy and pleasing

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer you bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship.” 

Romans 12:1 (NIV)

Lift your head, arms, heart, mind, body and spirit to the Lord - give him every part of you so that he can take the lead and give you every part of him!

What enslaves you?

“Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey?  You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living.” Romans 6:16 NLT

What are you worshiping right now?  What can you not stop focusing on that can overtake your mind at times?  What do you feel like you have no control over, such as temper, frustration, regret, food, man, money, exercise, etc.?  Or, what/who is making the decisions for you?  If any of these answers are anything, or any one,  but God, then it is time to get re-grounded and re-focused; it is time to dig in deeper with Christ and wash away the darkness that is suffocating your life.

I know I have one or two things that I need to let go of or they can eventually lead to destruction – mental and physical – so I am ready,  I am ready to breath again.  How about you?  Well, if you are ready, then join me, and let’s kick this darkness to the ground, stomp it back to HE**, and move forward with our beautiful lives set before us by God himself.  

IT IS TIME TO LET GO!

The Lord knows how to rescue you!

"... the Lord knows how to rescue the godly out of temptations and trials..."  II Peter 2:9 AMPC

Just because you don't know what to do in any given situation, trial, or temptation, doesn't mean God doesn't.  So, until you have peace in your heart about what to do, then patiently wait on God - one way or another, He'll lead you the way you are supposed to go. 

What's been lost, will be given back by God

"... What you lost in Jerusalem will be found in Babylon.

God will give you new life again.

He'll redeem you from your enemies..."

He will:

 "...remake you into a people invincible..."

Micah 4:9-10, 13 MSG

In other words what you lost when you lived in the world, (in sin, in darkness, without God as your leader), will be found, again, once you turn back to God, (give your life to him, surrender your sins, repent, make him the leader of your life).  However, this time you will get back all that you've lost and then some; you will get back and there'll be no man that can take away from you ever again.

Yes, you may be down and out now, but it isn't over my friend, it is time to stop trying to take what was lost by your might and surrender it all to God.  Let him take the lead!  

Now, get ready - your life is going to be so blessed, so strong... so filled with strength and light!

God loves you so much!  No matter whether you're lost, alone, afraid, or, living a very blessed and grace-filled life, God has you in the palm if his hand.  Therefore, for those that haven't yet, surrender to him and let him change your lives; to those that have, stay surrendered to him so that your lives are more blessed every new day!!

We are his children ~ He is our God!!
