REPENT AND RESTART
Monday, October 15, 2018
Get rid of the rage
"Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ God forgave you."
Ephesians 4:31-32
Forgive - Be Free

Do not be angry with yourselves
"And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you."
Genesis 45:5
If you've ever done evil to another and you still get sick to your stomach with guilt over the thought of it, do not worry. For, although you meant to harm that person at that time, God had a plan all along. He knew what was going to happen before it happened, and he knew what you were going to do before you did it; God, had the blessing awaiting the outcome of the whole situation, a blessing that you may never know, but a tremendous blessing all the same.
Therefore, now is the time to forgive yourself, repent, stand up tall, focus on Christ, and move forward with your life. It's all going to be OK, God knows your heart and for the guilt and repentance you feel - he will bless you for it. Remember, everything works out for good to those who rely on Christ :-).

He will never give up on you... EVER!
"Just think - you don't need a thing, you've got it all! All God's gifts are right in front of you... And not only that, but God himself is right alongside to keep you steady and on track until all things are wrapped up by Jesus. God, who got you started in this spiritual adventure, shares with us the life of his Son and our Master Jesus. He will never give up on you. Never forget that."
- 1 Cor. 1:7-9 MSG
He will never give up on you. Never forget that!
Right in front of you, alongside you, is Christ himself; He is walking with you, talking to you, loving you, carrying you, forgiving you, and directing you. He is with you, right now; you are never, ever, alone - EVER!
So as down as it may seem for you, as low as you may feel in life, remember: God is with you; he won't leave you, he won't give up on you, and he won't turn his back on you. Please, allow him to forgive you - your past, present, and future sins. Open your hear to him so he can love you into wholeness and lead you to salvation.

Forgiveness, comfort, and encouragement
"... so instead [of further rebuke, now] you should rather [graciously] forgive and comfort and encourage him, to keep him from being overwhelmed by excessive sorrow...to keep Satan from taking advantage of us..." 2 Corinthians 2:7,11
Forgiveness, comfort, and encouragement toward another not only brings light and life to the darkness on both sides, but it stops Satan dead in his tracks leaving him without a leg to stand on.

Even at our worst...
"And so I'm not going to act on my anger...
And why? Because I am God and not human.
I'm The Holy One and I'm here - in your very midst."
Hosea 11:1-9 MSG
Yes, we've all fallen short and have had some rough times because of our sins and transgressions. And, yes, God is not pleased with us in those times. However, God loves us unconditionally, and if we turn to him, (even at our worst), confess our sins, and genuinely seek forgiveness and change, then will stay true to His Word: He will forgive us, love us into wholeness, and turn our sins into stepping stones of greatness! Therefore, don't be ashamed to turn to God no matter what you've done. He is faithful, He will forgive you; you will be changed into His glory and you are loved beyond belief.

The moment you ask God
The moment you ask God to come into your heart, forgive you your sins and cleanse you of all unrighteousness, here’s what happens:
“… I’ll pour water over you and scrub you clean. I’ll give you a new heart, put a new spirit in you. I’ll remove the stone heart from your body and replace it with a heart that’s God-willed, not self-willed… you’ll be my people! I’ll be your God!” (Jeremiah 36:24-28 MSG)
God is so good and he loves you so much.
Receive him as your Lord and Savior; it’s time for you to live the shining life that the is going to give you;
you are free, you are forgiven, you are loved!
God bless!

God loves you this much
God loves you so much and no matter what you've done, if you will open your life up to Him, (turn away from sin and darkness, seek him with your whole mind, body, and soul), He will open his arms up to you and:
" 'They will be my people, I will be their God... I will restore everything that was lost'
I'll build everything back as good as new... I'll forgive everything they've done wrong, forgive all rebellions..."
Jeremiah 32:37-40; 42-44; 33:6-9 MSG
So, turn back to Him - He is waiting with arms open wide!

Come back to God! Come back!
“… I made you, shaped you: You’re my servant.
O Israel, I’ll never forget you.
I’ve wiped the slate of all your wrongdoings.
There’s nothing left of your sins.
Come back to me, come back.
I’ve redeemed you.”
Isaiah 44:21-22 MSG
No matter how far off path you’ve gotten; no matter what sins you’ve committed, it is never too late to run back to God. He forgives you and he will never turn his back on you. So, run to him and let him rebuild your life – he will, he wants to, he is waiting for you to ask. So… ASK! And, once you do, boy-oh-boy, life will really begin, and it will a life worth living for.

Acknowledge your sin
Psalm 32:5 New International Version
Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD." And you forgave the guilt of my sin.
Call out to God, repent for your sins, and let God clean and clear the slate of your life. Your life will refresh, your burdens will lighten, and your heart will be free to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

When God corrects us
"So, what a blessing when God steps in and corrects you!
Mind you, don't despise the discipline of Almighty God!"
Job 5:17
Be thankful when the consequences of your sin come knocking at your door, more than likely, you, (and I), need it.
Consequences of sin are our chances to get right with God, repent to those we've wronged (including ourselves), forgive those who have wronged us (including ourselves), let go of the anger, resentment, and victim mentality, and get on with the blessed life that the good Lord is trying to give. So, take correction as a blessing and a learning curve - if we don't, the the devastation of our sins may be worse than we could of ever dreamed of.

Hearts and motives
“… God examines every heart and sees through every motive…” 1 Chronicles 28:9-10 MSG
How’s your heart? How’s your motives? Do you have a clear conscience when you go to bed at night? Do you feel like you’ve brought a smile to anybody’s face lately? Well, if you heart is dark and your motives are shady then it’s time to kick it into high gear and get on board with God. So, dig in to the Word, pray without ceasing, repent for your wrongs, forgive those that have wronged you, and let bygones be bygones; cleanse your heart of all unrighteousness and let the glory of Christ fill you, surround you, and love you to wholeness. And, soon, my friend, your nights will be filled with peace, your heart will be filled with joy, and your motives will be fueled by knowing that you are helping someone else.

And Jesus prayed
“And Jesus prayed, Father, forgive them, for they
know not what they do…” Luke 23:24 AMP
Jesus loves all of us so much; in the midst of extreme
torment from the world, He prayed forgiveness for the world. WOW!! How can we not love Him, and how can we not want to give our lives to Him?
My
friend, Jesus loves you so much! No matter how
bad the world says you are, Jesus loves you in spite of it all - there
is nothing you can do that will make Him turn His back on you. So, let
Him take care of you, let Him take care of your life, and let Him lead
you into eternal paradise.

Although your sins are many...
“Therefore I tell you, her sins,
many [as they are], are forgiven her ...”
Luke 7:47 AMP
It
doesn’t matter where you’ve been,
what you’ve done, who you are, or who you know - when you are ready to
follow Christ, He lovingly accepts and approves of you just the way you
are. So, be who He has created you to be, and stop being what the world
wants you to be.
My friend, God adores you and He
is patiently waiting for you to let Him love you, bless you, heal you, and set you free… so, run to Him.

FORGIVE!!
"And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop." Mark 11:25 AMP
FORGIVE.
Until you do, the full life God has for you will never be fully perfected.

By His stripes
“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needed to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.” Isaiah 53:5 (+AMP version)
When we invite God to come into our hearts and
forgive us our sins, then God – in all His glory – comes rushing in; we are
immediately filled with His Spirit, filled with His healing power. No, you may not have a physical, or
supernatural feeling swoosh over you, but He is there, which means, you are
being healed of all sickness, sin, regret, condemnation, and the like! It may
not seem like it, but it is being done – you are being healed. Believe it and
receive it, my friend, it’s yours free of charge.
Keep moving forward, and let Him heal you from
inside out; the longer it takes, the more thoroughly healed you will be. Remember, you are a child of God, which
means, you are a victor, not a victim; therefore, live like the victor that you
are, and let no sickness, disease, sin, or pain, ever hold you back from living
life again!!
