Why seek Wisdom?

Even in darkness...

"Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the Light of life." "

John 8:12 NASB

Even the darkness will be light-filled for those of us that follow Jesus.  Yes, even in dark times, we will have the light to move forward in victory; even in the toughest of times, we will have a smooth road to travel upon.

Living for money or living to LIVE

"Do not wear yourself out to get rich, have the wisdom to show restraint. Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle."

Proverbs 23:4-5

Life isn't about making money, it's about God; life is about living to the fullest in joy, peace, prosperity, hope, love, faith, peace, and adoration.  God is about living, money is about weariness and stress. Therefore, choose God - choose life; your life will improve dramatically and your peace, prosperity,  and joy will come without wearing yourself out trying to find it on your own.

Dark clouds

Evil must be removed from within you and amongst you

“You must purge evil from among you.”

Deuteronomy 22:21, 22, 24

Three times in this chapter alone states that evil must be purged from among us.  Therefore, remove yourself from the evil around you, if possible, (if not possible, then dig deep into prayer and seek Christ-filled help to change your surroundings and those that you cannot leave).  

As well, remove evil from within you - NOW!  Forgive, repent, dig deep into the Lord;  pray, pray, pray.  Whatever you need to do, my friend, do it; get rid of it! All it’s doing is holding you back from living the blessed life that Jesus died for you to live, and for you to live to the fullest!

So, once again, “Purge evil from among you.”

Dancing before the Lord

"David, wearing a linen ephod, danced before the Lord with all his might."

2 Samuel 6:14

Whatever you do, whether it be dancing, singing, laughing, loving, praying, giving, working, playing, etc., etc., do it all unto God, and do it with all your might!  

Friends, live like you mean it, live like you love it - live boldly for God.

Sin is no longer in control

"Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires.  Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin.  Instead, give yourselves completely to God... Use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.  Sin is no longer your master."

Romans 6:12-14 NLT

From the top of your head to the bottom of your feet - inside and out - you are made for God's glory.  Therefore, break the chains of sin that are holding you bondage to darkness and begin to treat yourself as God's glorious child; live in freedom and live a life that shines brightly before all men. 

Turst - Delight - Commit

"Trust in the Lord and do good.  Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.  Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desires.  Commit everything you do to the Lord.  Trust him, and he will help you.  He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun."

Psalm 37:3-6

Trust in, delight in, and commit yourself to the Lord. For when you do, the desires of your heart and the prayers that you pray will come to pass.  God's word says so, and his words never-ever lie.

Pursue your enemies

"But don't stop! Pursue your enemies, attack them from the rear and don't let them reach their cities, for the Lord your God has given them into your hand." 

Joshua 10:19

Don't run from your fears, hang ups, hurts, heart-aches - enemies!  No! Instead, put all your faith in God and chase them down and face them head on.  God will give you victory; God will give you peace; God will give you confidence; God will give you power: GOD WILL.  

My friend, you are God's precious child, there is nothing you can't withstand, nothing you can't conquer.  So chin up!  Today is a new day in your life - LIVE IT and LIVE IT BOLDLY.

Rise up!

”You are to rise up from the ambush and take the city.  The Lord your God will give it into your hand...” 

Joshua 8:7

It’s time to rise up and take the blessings God has set before you; it is time to stop being discouraged, fearful, intimidated, and afraid!  Child of God, stand up, take the blessings that are yours and live the amazing life God has set before you.  

No more time to waste - RISE UP and LIVE.

Today the chains are broken

“... “Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from among you” ...”

Joshua 5:9

Today is a new day.  The old is gone, the chains are broken, the grass is green, and the light is ever-so-bright.  So open your eyes, hearts, minds, and souls, God has broken the chains of darkness from you and today begins a new day in his amazing freedom - a life which lives in his amazing glory.
