Sin is no longer in control

"Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires.  Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin.  Instead, give yourselves completely to God... Use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.  Sin is no longer your master."

From the top of your head to the bottom of your feet - inside and out - you are made for God's glory.  Therefore, break the chains of sin that are holding you bondage to darkness and begin to treat yourself as God's glorious child; live in freedom and live a life that shines brightly before all men. 

A slave to sin or a slave to God?

"...for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him... " (2 Peter 2:19)

Therefore,

"... be on guard, so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall away from your secure position." (2 Peter 3:17)

The moment you pray is the moment...

The moment you utter a prayer to God is the moment God answers the prayer.  No, it may not be the answer which you are hoping or an answer that hits you immediately, but the answer is in front of you – stay in faith and keep your heart and eyes wide open.  As well, remain calm and patient, and know that you know: in the blink of an eye, your answer will be before you.

God is good and he loves you with all that he is.

Worry gets no one anywhere

Worry is the same as insanity – it causes the mind to frantically do one-legged sprints around and around a mountain without realizing we have another leg to help, as well as keeping us blinded to the fact that there is a freeway running right through it.

Before you can stand

“… Get down on your knees before the Master; it’s the only way you’ll get on your feet.”

You’ll never be able to stand and run if you first don’t kneel and pray.

If you aren’t living HIM, then...

Don’t let fear of the world hold you back!

The work you do for the Lord now, uncaring to what the world says or thinks, is only the beginning of greatness for you!  Just wait until He comes to get you... WOW… !!  It is then, my friend, that your prayers and blessings will come to fruition in so many different ways that you won’t know where to begin!!

Faithful and trustworthy

“His master said to him, Well done, you upright (honorable, admirable) and faithful servant! You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little; I will put you in charge of much…” 

~Matthew 25:23 AMP

You are blessed with talents and abundances in which you are to share and grow, bless and be blessed.  So, if we choose to hide our gifts and talents then we won’t ever be able to grow or enjoy full success - become all that God wants us to be.

My friend, you have natural abilities because God has given them to you - share them in order that they can become light and influence to the darkness that surrounds you, share them in order that you might grow and succeed; share them so that on the day the Lord comes to take you away, He smiles and says:

Well done, you upright and faithful servant!

 

You never know?

Good reminder for us all!  We cannot, absolutely cannot, get lazy in living for Christ.  For we do not   know the hour of his arrival, but boy-oh-boy, we are sure going to want to be ready for it!  Therefore, stay focused on living for God and God alone... He's the One that we definitely don't want to miss!

God loves you so much!  No matter whether you're lost, alone, afraid, or, living a very blessed and grace-filled life, God has you in the palm if his hand.  Therefore, for those that haven't yet, surrender to him and let him change your lives; to those that have, stay surrendered to him so that your lives are more blessed every new day!!

We are his children ~ He is our God!!
