If you will take the first step...

The Lord turned to him and said, "Go in the strength you save and save Israel out of Midian's hand.  Am I not sending you?"
"But Lord," Gideon asked, "how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest... and I am the least in my family."
The Lord answered, "I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianitesies together...
Peace! Do not be afraid.  You are not going to die."
Judges 6:14-16, 23

Like Gideon, you may be afraid, you may feel weak, you may feel like the challenge before you is impossible; yes, you may already feel defeated.  However, what you feel means nothing compared to who God is and what he can do for you.  Therefore, take that first bold step of faith, no matter how fearful you are, and from there God will carry you forward into victory.

He hears those that call on him

“God’s there, listening for all who pray, for all who pray and mean it.  He does what is best for those who fear him – hears them call out, and saves them.  God sticks by those who love him, but it’s all over for those who don’t.”
Psalm 145:17-20 MSG

When we truly and deeply love, hope in, yearn for, and pray with all sincerity to Jesus, there is nothing that will stop him from saving us in our times of fear, distress, and even in our times of sin.

God loves you so much

Truly living in the Light - living for Christ Jesus

"... Our involvement with God's revelation doesn't put us right with God.  What it does is force us to face our complicity in everyone else's sin."  Romans 3:9-20 MSG

When we begin noticing that we are backing away from the world because of the darkness in which it brings, is when we begin noticing that we are truly, and purely, children of the most high God, finally making a decision to truly live in Him and for Him.

Furthermore, once we begin to notice, our lives take a glorious turn for the better because we are finally stepping out of the darkness into the Light: Freedom, glory, blessing, promise, hope, joy, wisdom, faith, love, peace... all which equals Jesus Christ, our precious Lord and Savior, here to save us and exalt us.

Glory be to Jesus in the utmost!!!

Faith. FAITH. Faith.

"On your way," said Jesus.  "Your faith has saved and healed you."
Mark 10:52 MSG

Faith in Christ saves one's soul.
Faith in Christ heals one's body; physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Faith in Christ lifts the darkness and shines with brightness.
Faith in Christ empowers, enlightens, lifts the heaviness, increases the joy, energizes the body.

Hence, have faith in God!
It's yours for the taking and it's yours in ample supply if you will use it.

be happy! Celebrate!

“… be happy! Celebrate!  There’s nothing to fear from evil ever again… your God is present among you, a strong warrior to save you.” Zephaniah 3:14-17 MSG

There is nothing – NOTHING – to fear; not death, sickness, darkness, Satan; God is with you!  Yes, God is with you! YOU !!!  Fear not! He will take care of you.

God is good

"God is good, a hiding place in tough times.  He recognizes and welcomes anyone looking for help, no matter how desperate the trouble..."
Nahum 1:7-10

Run to God - He will save you!

Tuesday, March 28, 2017

"God, the Master says: From now on, I myself am the shepherd... I'll rescue them... I'll bring them back... I'll feed them... I'll lead them into lush pasture... I myself will make sure they get plenty of rest... I'll doctor the injured, I'll build upon the weak ones and oversee the strong ones so they're not exploited... I'll come in and save my dear flock... I'll send down plenty of rain in season - showers of blessing!..." Jeremiah 34:11-16, 25-27 MSG

God loves you so much!  No matter whether you're lost, alone, afraid, or, living a very blessed and grace-filled life, God has you in the palm if his hand.  Therefore, for those that haven't yet, surrender to him and let him change your lives; to those that have, stay surrendered to him so that your lives are more blessed every new day!!

We are his children ~ He is our God!!

Dig your heals in and trust God

"... He says, 'If you are ready to stick it out in this land, I will build you up not and drag you down.  I will plant you and not pull you up like a weed... your fears are for nothing.   I'm on your side, ready to save and deliver you..." Jer 40:9-12 MSG

Before you ever get to where you are dreaming to be, you will have to learn to dig your heels in and be content right where you are at.  So, cast your cares on God - He is going to get you to where you want to be... trust!

And, one more note: The grass is not greener on the other side when you are running yourself ragged to attain it on your own.  However, when you trust God, not only will you come across that greener grass, you will find that the getting there was the most blessed part of it all.

Be NOT afraid.

“Be not afraid of the king of Babylon… says the Lord, for [he is a mere man…] I [the Lord] am with you to save you and to deliver you from his hand.” Jeremiah 42:11AMP

Are you intimidated by certain people, or situations, in your life? Unfortunately, I find myself going through periods of feeling intimidated, feeling less than, and cowering down to certain people and/or situations – it is no fun. So, if you happen to be like me, finding yourself going through similar periods, then it is the verses like today’s that we really need to read, re-read, memorize, and study.  So, pay attention to this and other related verses, and the next time you feel yourself cowering to anyone or anything, other than God, you will have a mind, and mouth, full of verses, (arsenal), to counter-attack those defeating thoughts, helping you to stand stouter and stronger then you’ve ever been able to stand before.

Yes, remember, use God’s words to withstand all that life brings you - they are our weapons toward the fleshly warfare that stands before us.

He will carry you through

“Even to your old age I am He, and even to hair white with age I will carry you.  I have made, and I will bear; yes, I will carry and save you.”
Isaiah 46:4

You are never alone, (no, not ever), when you are God’s child! Yes, there are lonely, difficult, and extremely hard times in life, but remember, we are not of this life – our life hereafter is what we are of; meaning, we are undefeatable, strong, steadfast, blessed, righteous, overcomers, and more than conquers in Christ.

My friend, you will make it through your troubles, but it is up to you to choose to make it through by asking for God’s help from this day forward.  He’s waiting and He’ll come running when you do.

Happy Birthday Jesus

“Now the birth of Jesus Chris was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly.  But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.”

So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”
Matthew 1:18-23

And for us, Jesus was born.
And for us, Jesus died.
Praise Jesus!
Merry Christmas everyone

Salvation and redemption

No king is saved by the great size and power of his army; a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.” Psalm 33:16

God is the only one that can save; God is the only one who can deliver.  Therefore, no matter who you are, God is way more - without Him as the leader of your life, you amount to nothing.

Let God be the leader of your life, and salvation and redemption are yours to come.

Cry out!!

“… In the time of their suffering when they cried out to You, You heard them…and…You saved them… “ +Nehemiah 9:27

Stop trying to fix it yourself!  STOP!!  Instead, cry out to God!! His Word is proof that if you do, He will hear you and He will help you.
