Those who believe can do the amazing

“And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe; in My name they will drive out demons, they will speak in new languages; they will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well.” Mark 16:17-18 AMP

Do you believe?  If so, you can be a miracle, you can do the miraculous, and you are anointed to do great things in this life.  God’s love showers over those who believe, and those who are showered with His love, are showered with gifts and talents, which enable them to do mighty works in His name.  So, as a believer, go out and do what others say can’t be done.  You can heal the sick, trample serpents, be surrounded by His shield, and drive the most evil of demons out of your life, as well as many other lives around you.

So, live it out; live it out to the fullest, my friend.  And, remember, what you believe, you can conceive; and what you conceive, you can achieve – all in the mighty name of Jesus!  Praise Him!

Heart pounding, knee shaking, courage.

"Joseph ... daring the consequences, took courage and ventured to go to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus." Mark 15:43 AMP

As a believer in Christ, there will be times in our lives when we will have to make a choice: to either step out in faith and follow the life-changing call that we feel Jesus has placed on our heart; or, to play it safe, so-to-speak, because we're not sure if it's Him or our own made-up dreams placing the call.  All I know, that if we have any inkling that Jesus is calling us to do something, we need to take the step out.  Yes, our knees will be trembling, our hands will be shaking, and our hearts will be pounding, but if we feel we are doing it with, and for, Jesus, then we are making the right choice.  If, on the other hand, it isn't what we've expected, I believe that Jesus will see our faith, and make it even better than expected.

So, if your heart is pure, and you faith is strong in Christ, take the step, make the change, and see if doors, windows, and walls, don't open up before you to a life that you know, that you know, that you know, only Jesus could be responsible for.  It is going to be glorious.

Are you sleeping?

"... Are you still sleeping and resting?  It is enough [of that]!..." Mark 12:41 AMP

Remember, the devil roams around like a lion looking for those he can devour.  Therefore, stay alert to Christ in all things, because none of us are immune from Satan.

Friends, it is imperative that we spend every moment of our lives with God by: waking up with God; spending time alone with God; getting ready for work and play with God; eating with God, etc., etc.; we must live our lives in their entirety with God and God alone, making no room for the devil to creep in.

So, wake up if you've been sleeping!  There is no time to lax; Satan is fast, mean, ruthless, and bold.  The moment he thinks you've put Jesus on the back-burner is the moment he rushes in and takes your blessed life away from you.  Don't let it happen!  Stay awake in God, and remember that He has to be first and foremost in your life! He is good, and He loves you so much, and He wants you to only have the best, and blessed, in this life!!

Let God speak for you.

"... do not be anxious beforehand about what you are to say 'nor [even] mediate about it; but say whatever is given you in that hour and at the moment, for it is not you who will be speaking, but the Holy Spirit." Mark 13:11 AMP

When we are getting ready for a time where eyes and questions will be on us, (for example, job interview, leadership conference, speaking engagements, etc.), most of us spend hours, and even days, beforehand worrying, wondering, thinking, practicing, rehearsing about our words and the way in which we will speak them.  Although, it is very important to be prepared, a lot of us are better off having a game-plan, but we need to let God play the game. In other words, have the ground work ready for your upcoming event, but let God, and know that He will, put your words in the proper format, with the proper manner and etiquette, at the most appropriate time.  I believe, and know, that if you (and me as well) do, you will leave that room with your head held high, giving hi-fives to the Spirit within, and knowing that you know that whatever the outcome may be, you spoke words anointed by the Spirit and shocking even your most critical of critics.

My friends, God is good, and He will speak through you if you let Him.  Therefore, give it a try, I'll bet if you do, you will keep yourself free from a bunch of unnecessary trouble, as well as keep yourself at the top of any game.

Beware of the leaven.

“… Look out; keep on your guard and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod…” Mark 8:15 AMP

In other words, be on guard against hypocrites (wave makers, con-artists, cheats, fakes, phonies, frauds, pretenders) of this world!  As well, and probably most important, don’t let yourself become one of them!

What is coming from your heart?

"There is not [even] one thing outside a man which by going into him can pollute and defile him; but the things which come out of a man are what defile him and make him unhallowed and unclean." Mark 7:15 AMP

Do you listen to your words?  Do you watch your actions? Do you pay attention to your thoughts? Do you take accountability for your attitude?  Do you listen to God, read the Word of God, and trust in God with all that you are?  Take a moment and think about each question; answer each of them honestly.  If any of your answers are, No, Maybe, I don't know, or, Not really, then there needs to be some life altering changes in your life.  Start by taking these questions and putting them some place where you can ask yourself on a regular basis.  Make it your goal to always say, Yes, to each one.

Now, I know as humans we will have times that we fall, and our attitudes, words, thoughts, and the like will follow suit.  However, we are still accountable, and we still have no excuse to act, speak, and think anything less than what God commands.  So, stay accountable to these questions. Not only will they keep your life free from destruction and humiliation, they will also keep the door open to your life so that God can anoint you to do the amazing works He has put you here to do!!

Friend, you are amazing!  If you were anything less, you wouldn't be here, because  God doesn't make second-rate humans.  No, God only makes excellence!!  Therefore, with that said, don't ever think you are anything less, and don't ever allow yourself to become anything less.

You are His ambassador!

"And He called to Him the Twelve [apostles] and began to to send them out [as His ambassadors] two by two and gave them authority and power over the unclean spirits." Mark 6:7 AMP

Like the apostles, you, my friend, have been called.  You are an ambassador for Christ, and it is time that you stand up, go out, and do what He has called you to do.  For instance: help others; give to others; pray for others; donate; preach; lead; teach; lift someone up; take time to listen to someone; feed the hungry; clothe the poor; etc., etc. How do you know if you've been called?  By this: if you believe and worship God as our Lord and Savior, then you have been called; you are His ambassador.

Yes, this is your time, you are His anointed to go out and do His good works; God lives within you, and He is to be shared with so many who live in darkness and fear.  So, lift your chin, raise your hands to Heaven, and ask God to pour His blessings over you - He will, and He will supply you with what you need to bless others.

Friend, life is too short , and really isn't worth it if you live for yourself, by yourself, and to yourself.  So, live for Him - be, and live, as His chosen ambassador!!  The moment you do, your life will begin to shine; life will fill your flesh, and a new fire will ignite deep within you that no devil, beast, burden, or flesh will ever be able to put out.

Then there was a great calm

“… and they awoke Him… And He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Hush now!  Be still (muzzled)! And the wind ceased… and there was a great calm.” Mark 4:38-39 AMP

The storms of life are powerful, but God is ALL-POWERFUL! So, call on Him in the midst of any storm, and let His peace and protection fill, surround, and calm you!!

He is so good!!

What you put in

“… The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you - and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.” Mark 4:24 AMP

Simply: The effort you put in will be the result that comes out!

Jesus sees your faith

“And when Jesus saw their faith [their confidence in God through Him], He said to the paralyzed man, Son, your sins are forgiven…” Mark 2:5 AMP

God knows those who have an undying faith in Him.  And, it is because of that undying faith that He returns in them His spirit of healing, wholeness, restoration, forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life.

So, let me ask, where is your faith? In God, or in the flesh?  If it is in God, your life is eternal and whole; if it is in the flesh, your life is short and broken.  Therefore, put all faith in God and let Him put all life right back into you… eternal, whole, healed, and saved!  Praise God – Hallelujah.

With authority He gives orders...

"... With authority He gives orders even to the unclean spirits and they obey Him!" Mark 1:27 AMP

Jesus spoke to evil with authority - authority given Him by God.  In the same way, when Jesus died on the cross for us, we too, were given the authority to speak away evil and unclean spirits.  How?  By His spirit that lives inside each and every one of us those of us that call Him to come into our hearts and forgive us our sins; making Him our Lord and Savior.  Therefore, be bold, faith-filled, authoritative, and determined when speaking to evil, (ill-health, fear, anger, lies, darkness, dark people, things, etc.), because Jesus died and gave you the Power (His spirit) to do so! So, use His power: remove the anger, the hurt, pain - evil - from your life, with, and in, all authority, so you can move forward on the path of life Jesus has set before you.

He has risen

"... He has risen from the dead, and behold, He is going before you..." Matthew 28:7 AMP

God is our future. He has already gone before us and has laid out our path. So, follow it!!

Stay awake; watch and pray!

“All of you must keep awake (give strict attention, be cautious and active) and watch and pray, that you may not come into temptation.  The spirit is indeed willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41

Temptation will come, but God gives us power to overcome.  How?  With His spirit! With His Word! With His love! With His grace!!  Although we are of the flesh, we are still God’s children, and when we stay focused on Him, we will quickly be able to fight off temptation when it comes. However, being of the flesh, if we do lose focus on Him, we will find that we quickly fall into temptation, and once we do, we go into a downward spiral that takes us a long time to climb back out of.  Therefore, keep your eyes on God, with prayer, time, and devotion so that no matter what temptation comes, you have all the Strength you need to pass it right up.

Be ready always!

“You also must be ready therefore, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when  you do not expect Him.”  Matthew 24:44 AMP

Letting your relationship with God slack, even for the shortest amount of time, could cause dire consequences; consequences of life or death – no in-between.  So, be sure to make God your utmost priority every single day of your life, because without complete faith and confidence in His coming, you may quickly fall into the world and miss out on the blessed and eternal life that God has waiting for those who never give-up calling on Him.

Clean out from within.

“… First clean the inside of the cup and of the plate, so that the outside may be clean also.” Matthew 23:26 AMP

Clean the darkness and filth, (sin, hurt, anger, pain, resentment, fear, etc.), out of your mind, body, and soul, otherwise the environment in which you live will not be glorified and blessed by God.  What you live, (think, believe, dwell on, etc.), on the inside will be what you live on the outside.  So, let me ask, how are you living on the inside? Are you living in love, joy, peace, patience, perseverance, hope, and praise? Or, are you living in hurt, pain, neglect, fear, darkness, doubt, and hate?  If it is the latter of the two, then it is time to dig into God; let Him wash you clean; He will revive you with His love.  So surrender to Him and a new life is yours – renewed and refreshed from the inside out.

Remember, you only have this one chance to live, and without Him filling your mind, body, an soul, then you really won’t stand a chance at all.

Alive and living

“He said to them, But who do [yourselves] say that I am? Simon Peter replied, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Matthew 16:15, 16 AMP

God is alive!  God is alive within you, around you, above and beneath you.  You are His flesh; His housing.  It is through your life that gives Him glory for all to see, which means, you are made for greatness.
Therefore, live life in all its glory, because with God alive in you, you can conquer any feat, overcome any challenge, and rise to levels unattainable by any ordinary man.
