God first. First, God!

"... First, seek the counsel of the Lord."

1 Kings 22:5

First, seek God; not last, not as a last resort, not if it sounds good, not if all your friends give you the wrong answer... NO - FIRST seek God! FIRST! 
Not only will God save you a ton of time and unnecessary mistakes, but he will also be your ease and grace as you move forward with your life in confidence and strength.

Before any action is taken, seek God first!

"... they inquired of the Lord...The Lord answered..."

Judges 20:23

Before you move, before you execute a plan you have made for yourself, be sure to inquire of God first.  For if he is not part of your plan, your plan will never succeed.  However, if you put him in charge of your plan, then victory will be yours for the taking.  

So that the glory of the Lord may appear to you

"...This is what the Lord commanded you to do, so that the glory of the Lord may appear to you."

Leviticus 9:6

To be blessed with the glory of God, you must first do what he tells you to do.  

Trust God, do what he tells you to do, he knows what's best for you.

Others first

“After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and doubled his previous possessions.”

Job 42:10

In order to receive a miracle you must first pray a miracle for others; when you put others first, God gives you victory.

Focus

“Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Matthew 6:33 NIV

If you have hopes, dreams, and desires, yet not seeking God to find them, then that is all they will ever be: hopes, dreams, and desires – period.  However, if you have hopes, dreams, and desires, and are seeking God, then not only will they be hopes, dreams, and desires, they will be yours for the taking: blessed, beautiful, with your name written all over them.

Step aside

Step aside, put your ego below your feet, let those around you go ahead... for in doing so, your time will come, and it will be much greater than you could ever think, want, or hope for.  

As well, remember the fine, truth-filled, words: Those who are first will be last and those who are last will be first (Matthew 19:30).

Hence: When all is said, done, argued over, debated, discussed, etc., God reigns! God wins!

Try something new

"... Break up your ground left uncultivated for a season, so that you may not sow among thorns." Jeremiah 4:3

It is time to try something new; step out onto new ground. If your life seems to keep going in the same old circle and you can't seem to get  ahead, then maybe some new stomping ground is your ticket.

Yes, I know that trying a new road is always a scary move, but if you have any sort of inkling, or knowing, that it is something God is prompting you to do, then give it a go; if you honestly feel God has placed something in your heart, then I guarantee He won't let you fail.  Plus, if you step out in the wrong direction, I promise that He will step in and make sure you find your way.  

Your life doesn't have to keep hitting dead ends, there is new ground for you to stomp on!  So, pray about it, listen for His guidance, and then take that first big, bold step - He'll take hold of you from there!

God: First, foremost, front, and center!

“Jesus said, “No procrastination.  No backward looks.  You can’t put God’s kingdom off till tomorrow.  Seize the day.”  Luke 9:62 MSG

God FIRST and FOREMOST - FRONT and CENTER in your life, at all times and in all things.

Anyhow, if you don’t put God first, before everything and anything in your life, then there won’t be everything and anything for you in life worth having.

Pursue The Lord first and foremost in your life, for your life, and, most of all, to live through your life.

The first, and most important, steps to wisdom is to believe in God, worship God, honor God, love God and trust God.  Without these steps, you will never have the wisdom it takes to live in blessing, love, prosperity, health, joy, and peace; without these steps, you will never to really be able to live at all.

If anyone loves the world...

“Do not love or cherish the world or the things that are in the world.  If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him.” 1 John 2:15 AMPC

Therefore, love God first and foremost.  Then, all the good things of the world will be added blessings for you because He cares and loves you so much!!

Clean out from within.

“… First clean the inside of the cup and of the plate, so that the outside may be clean also.” Matthew 23:26 AMP

Clean the darkness and filth, (sin, hurt, anger, pain, resentment, fear, etc.), out of your mind, body, and soul, otherwise the environment in which you live will not be glorified and blessed by God.  What you live, (think, believe, dwell on, etc.), on the inside will be what you live on the outside.  So, let me ask, how are you living on the inside? Are you living in love, joy, peace, patience, perseverance, hope, and praise? Or, are you living in hurt, pain, neglect, fear, darkness, doubt, and hate?  If it is the latter of the two, then it is time to dig into God; let Him wash you clean; He will revive you with His love.  So surrender to Him and a new life is yours – renewed and refreshed from the inside out.

Remember, you only have this one chance to live, and without Him filling your mind, body, an soul, then you really won’t stand a chance at all.

 

Taking care of your flocks.

"Be diligent to know the state of your flocks and look well to your herds; For riches are not forever..." Proverbs 27:23,24

Take time, right now, to analyze the things that mean the most to you.  What do you wake up for everyday?  Is it God and family, or is it money and power?  If it is the latter, then now would be a really good time to re-think your life, otherwise you may find yourself overfilled with riches and power, but filled with an emptiness that pulls you down until you can no longer get up.  Therefore, know the important things in life - God and family - and keep them first, because when you feel like you're on your last leg, then those are the things that will help you decide between life or death.  

Choose God and family; choose life!!
