You've been hanging around the same mountain too long

It is time to move on my friend.  Break free of the mountains holding you back - move forward; move forward to the good 'land' God already has given you.  Go in and take what is yours, without fear, without doubt, and without anyone in the world telling you that you can't do it.  You can!  You will!   God is with you every step of the way.

Seek his kingdom and righteousness

“But seek his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Matthew 6:33

Social media, friends, family, bank accounts, careers, sweat, blood, and tears, do not bring dreams to pass – God does!  Therefore seek him first so that everything you want in life will come to pass.  Hence,, unless you seek him first nothing else in your life will ever work out.

Focus

“Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Matthew 6:33 NIV

If you have hopes, dreams, and desires, yet not seeking God to find them, then that is all they will ever be: hopes, dreams, and desires – period.  However, if you have hopes, dreams, and desires, and are seeking God, then not only will they be hopes, dreams, and desires, they will be yours for the taking: blessed, beautiful, with your name written all over them.

Promotion is yours when you have Christ on your side.

The fullness of Christ within

Simply love - a life open to God

“The whole point of what we’re urging is simply love - love uncontaminated by self interest and counterfeit faith, a life open to God.” 

-1 Timothy 1:5-7

Simple LOVE - the kind of love given to us by God - nothing added, nothing taken away; no judgement, no critique - no end.

Know God? Then live like it!

"And [said Jesus,] I tell you that to everyone who gets and has will more be given, but from the man who does not get and does not have, even what he has will be taken away." Luke 19:26 AMP

Know God, and spend quality time with Him on a consistent basis?  If so then this life that you live now will prove to be fulfilled in ways that bring ease to your heart and joy to your soul.  You will come to the end of your life filled with Jesus; peaceful, joyful, satisfied, blessed, and loved.

Don't know God, and aren't taking the time trying to know God?  If not then this life that you work so hard trying to obtain all of your goals and dreams in will only prove to be tireless, never-ending, works that will never fully satisfy.  You will come to the end of your life worn out, unfulfilled, unsatisfied, and, more than likely, alone and heavy burdened.  

Therefore, get to know God more and more ~ make this life you are living one to be lived for!!

Even greater things.

"... The person who trusts me will not only do what I'm doing but even greater things, because I, on my way to the Father, am giving you the same work to do that I've been doing... From now on, whatever you request along the lines of who I a and what I am doing, I'll do it... Whatever you request in this way, I'll do."  John 14:11-14 MSG

My friend, God's chosen child, you are born to be great! Why?  Because you are born of God, not of man.  

Therefore:  

Do in the name and the spirit of Jesus; ask in the name and spirit of Jesus;  receive in the name and the spirit of Jesus;

What's been lost, will be given back by God

"... What you lost in Jerusalem will be found in Babylon.

God will give you new life again.

He'll redeem you from your enemies..."

In other words what you lost when you lived in the world, (in sin, in darkness, without God as your leader), will be found, again, once you turn back to God, (give your life to him, surrender your sins, repent, make him the leader of your life).  However, this time you will get back all that you've lost and then some; you will get back and there'll be no man that can take away from you ever again.

Yes, you may be down and out now, but it isn't over my friend, it is time to stop trying to take what was lost by your might and surrender it all to God.  Let him take the lead!  

Now, get ready - your life is going to be so blessed, so strong... so filled with strength and light!

Let God speak for you.

"... do not be anxious beforehand about what you are to say 'nor [even] mediate about it; but say whatever is given you in that hour and at the moment, for it is not you who will be speaking, but the Holy Spirit." Mark 13:11 AMP

When we are getting ready for a time where eyes and questions will be on us, (for example, job interview, leadership conference, speaking engagements, etc.), most of us spend hours, and even days, beforehand worrying, wondering, thinking, practicing, rehearsing about our words and the way in which we will speak them.  Although, it is very important to be prepared, a lot of us are better off having a game-plan, but we need to let God play the game. In other words, have the ground work ready for your upcoming event, but let God, and know that He will, put your words in the proper format, with the proper manner and etiquette, at the most appropriate time.  I believe, and know, that if you (and me as well) do, you will leave that room with your head held high, giving hi-fives to the Spirit within, and knowing that you know that whatever the outcome may be, you spoke words anointed by the Spirit and shocking even your most critical of critics.

My friends, God is good, and He will speak through you if you let Him.  Therefore, give it a try, I'll bet if you do, you will keep yourself free from a bunch of unnecessary trouble, as well as keep yourself at the top of any game.

What you put in

“… The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you - and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.” Mark 4:24 AMP

Simply: The effort you put in will be the result that comes out!

 

Keep on asking, seeking, knocking!

"Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7 AMP

There are a lot of times when we ask for something out of emotion, (excitement, depression, anger, joy, fear, doubt, etc.,), that is why I believe this verse tells us to keep on asking, keep on seeking, and keep on knocking, because once we settle down from emotion, we will probably realize that what we ask for is pretty darn absurd, (dangerous or damaging for our lives), and we will immediately stop praying for it.  If God were to give us everything we asked for the first time we asked, then we would surely want to give a lot of it back, right?!  However, when God sees and hears us continually asking, continually knocking, continually seeking, not only does it show Him that we are truly serious, but it gives us time to fine tune our wants into wants that are good and God-approved, and gives us time to refrain from wants that could damage, or hinder, our lives.

So, if you think that God doesn't hear you, or see your heart, He does!  He knows exactly what to give you!  However, before He does, He wants you to be asking, seeking, knocking for the same thing, otherwise you may not end up with the best for you life.  So, pray consistently about what you are asking, seeking, and knocking for, and I believe that you will get to a point where you know in your heart that what you are asking, seeking, and knocking for, is exactly what God wants to give you.  Then, it will be at that very moment, the moment you pray for what God has waiting for you, your wish will come flooding into your life, filled with His all-powerful light and blessing, and no forces of darkness will ever be able to take it away from you.  Praise God - Hallelujah!!
