Proverbs 5:21: God knows... God sees!

Don't waste time on nonsense

'This is what the Lord says: Do not go up to fight against your brothers, the Israelites.  Go home, every one of you, for this is my doing.' " So they obeyed the word of the Lord and went home again, as the Lord had ordered.

1 Kings 12:24

Life is too short to fight battles that God doesn't want us to fight.  Therefore, stop wasting precious time and energy on things that you cannot change, things you cannot control; they are God's battles and we must stand back and know that God has the victory - all victory.  Therefore, in his time, and in his way, the victory will be had.

Evil must be removed from within you and amongst you

“You must purge evil from among you.”

Deuteronomy 22:21, 22, 24

Three times in this chapter alone states that evil must be purged from among us.  Therefore, remove yourself from the evil around you, if possible, (if not possible, then dig deep into prayer and seek Christ-filled help to change your surroundings and those that you cannot leave).  

As well, remove evil from within you - NOW!  Forgive, repent, dig deep into the Lord;  pray, pray, pray.  Whatever you need to do, my friend, do it; get rid of it! All it’s doing is holding you back from living the blessed life that Jesus died for you to live, and for you to live to the fullest!

So, once again, “Purge evil from among you.”

When your plans aren’t working out

When you make major life changes in which you are so excited about, and then suddenly they don’t seem to be working out or going the direction you thought, (especially if the change has to do with quitting one job to work your dream job, or packing up and moving your family, or investing in something you were once so sure about.), then true faith and trust in Christ really need to come into play.  These are the moments where you need to hand everything over to God and let him take over.  If some of these decisions were based on your flesh and not God’s voice, then repentance is in order and your whole heart needs to be re-opened.  Yes, it is too late to turn back and start over, however, where you are is where you are is where God knew you would end up.  Therefore, seek, seek, seek, and keep seeking God; you will find him, he has open doors for you, he will not let you fail, and the glory of Him will shine through for you.  Patience and trust are required...yes, patience and trust.

It’s all going to be ok my friend. Hold on, keep moving forward, and although your decisions weren’t from God, now that you have realized it and are turning back to him, he will make your decisions blessed to the utmost and your health, wealth, wisdom, peace, love, and joy, will be filled to the full until they overflow - now and forever-more.

Change is here

"...Get rid of the foreign gods you have with you, and purify yourselves and change your clothes."

Genesis 35:2

It's time!  If life is unfruitful for you and you've been doing nothing but running in the same circle only to become more unhappy and un-fruitful, then change is due.  Step out, grab Jesus, start fresh, and begin again.  It is never too late, you are never too old, and life is always too short not to.  Go for it!  God's got your new beginning waiting for you.

Friends, you can't change your future - what God wants from, for, and through you, will eventurally be done - like it or not.  Therefore, stop fighting, stay in faith, and live for right now.  The future isn't yours yet, and time spent trying to figure out what will happen and what you want to happen will only waste your precious time of living in the right and the now.

Thoughts run our lives

"Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life" Proverbs 4:23

Take a moment to carefully think about what, or who, has been running your life lately.  Is worry, fear, gratitude, love, anger, hatred, life, man, GOD...???   Is it time to restart, refresh, and re-think... it is time to dig back into God and His Word.  

Change starts in your thinking, therefore, first thing, everyday, open your eyes, thoughts, and prayers to God through the power of His Word and His spirit which dwells on the inside of you.  The moment you focus more on Him, the less you will focus on you, and the more your life will brighten, shine, and energize; the more your life will help impact those around you, and in turn, impacts those around them, spreading the glory of Jesus nice and brightly for all the world to share and see.

When you have LOVE, you have GOD

LIFE IS ABOUT LOVE.  THEREFORE, SINCE GOD IS LOVE, THEN LIFE IS ABOUT HIM!!

With Love – GOD – you can heal the un-healable, change the unchangeable, conquer the unconquerable, defeat the undefeated, rule the unruly, and love the unlovable.  Yes, with Love – GOD – you can overcome any obstacle and be victorious over every battle that comes your way. 

Spread the love of God

"What I say to you in the dark, tell in the light; and what you hear whispered in the ear, proclaim up on the housetops." Matthew 10:27 AMP

When Jesus speaks to you, tell somebody, share his news.  You are a channel for Him to share his good news, his love, his kind words, his encouragement, and your faith.  

So speak when prompted by the Spirit... 
someone needs to hear it.

God can

“… God had plunged them into a sea of joy; he had changed the mind of the king of Assyria to back them in rebuilding the Temple of God, the God of Israel.”

You may not be able to change someone’s mind, but God can!!

Your body is not your own. Your body is God's.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20New Living Translation (NLT)

19 Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, 20 for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.

Are you honoring God with your body?  Are you following the Spirit of God, or your own spirit of never being quite up to par?  Are you consistently beating yourself up, putting yourself down, over-eating, over-exercising, over-critizing yourself, your looks, your body?  I know that most of us can answer these questions with a big ol', 'YES!', which means we are beating up God's beautiful creation; which means, we are basically living in sin - sin (all sin, no matter the sin) which leads to death.  

Well enough is enough!  It is time to stop focusing on death and begin to focus on God, LIFE! We must try to remember that He owns our bodies, He made our bodies, and, therefore, we must change our way of thinking about our bodies; the way we talk about our bodies, the way we torture our bodies with food, exercise, stress and strain, and the way we look at and see ourselves, (our bodies), in the mirror.  

Friends, change is in dire order if a good portion of your life is spent being unhappy with YOU; who you are and how you were made.  So, let's begin to live out the way God has made us.  Let's see our bodies the way that God made them: perfect!!  And, most of all, remember this: our bodies are God's and made by God, and He makes no imperfect being. 

You are beautiful!  Now, begin to live and believe like it!!!

You are a living sacrifice to God

A Living Sacrifice to God

"And so, dear brothers and sisters,[a] I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.[b] 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."

Our bodies are not our own - they are God's, and we get to borrow them here on Earth.  Therefore, whatever habits, hang ups, hurts, pains, fears, addictions, and unhealthy ideas you have about your body, mind, and soul, know that they are NOT from God - they are from the world.  It is time we stop listening to the world and start listening, learning, and accepting God's will and words for our lives.  

Therefore, today is a new day in Christ.  You are a fresh, new creation.  Today is the day to commit your life to God, and give him all of you, inside and out.  Let him remove the worldly thoughts, actions, and emotions and fill you with his love and nature.  

My friends, it is time to end the negative cycles of our lives and today is the day to finally do it.  You are perfect in Christ, and it is time to stop wasting your time on trying to change his perfection by trying to be something, or look a certain way, or act a certain way, that you have not been created for.  Today is your day, from God, for you - no-one else!.  

Live it.  

Dream it.  

Pray over it. 

Love it.  

Embrace it. 

Most of all, get on with it.

The Living Water

“But whoever takes a drink of the water that I will give him shall never, no never, be thirsty any more…” John 4:14 AMP

Thirsty?  Thirsty for changes that need to be made in your life; changes that need to be made in your heart and soul; changes for something different, something better?  If so, then it is time to take a drink of the real Water; it is time to make whatever changes necessary so you can dive into the Word of God, letting His Spirit jump out of the pages and into your heart, into your mind, into your body and soul.  Let Him change your world for the better – He will, He wants to! Yes, my friend, Jesus will enlighten your soul, ease your mind, quench your thirsts, and heal your heart.

So, are you in?  Are you ready for something better?  Then, give your life over to Jesus and let Him fill you with Water in which you will never, not ever, have to thirst again.

 

Inside and out

“…He knew them inside and out…”

John 2:23-25 MSG

Point to ponder:

No matter the front we put on to the outside world, Jesus knows each and every one of us, inside and out. So, if that thought makes you uncomfortable in any way, it could very well mean some internal cleansing is in order.

Sometimes moving on is the best option.

“Later, a great many people from the Gerasene countryside got together and asked Jesus to leave – too much change, too fast, and they were scared.  So Jesus got back in the boat and set off…” Luke 8:37-39 MSG

There will be people that won’t accept us in this life, not because of who we are, or what we do, but because of their own fears and insecurities.  So, like Jesus, when this happens, the best thing we can do is quietly and kindly turn and walk away; leave and let them be.

It's your life that must change, not your skin!

"...It’s your life that must change, not your skin! ... What counts is your life. Is it green and blossoming? Because if it’s deadwood, it goes on the fire." 

Matthew 3:7-10 MSG

If you truly want your life to change, full of fruit - green and blossoming - then you must let the The Spirit change you, not by your might, but by His; you must let Him clean the junk (sin) out of you. 

So,receive The Holy Spirit into your heart, just you and him, and let him change you from the inside-out.

What's been lost, will be given back by God

"... What you lost in Jerusalem will be found in Babylon.

God will give you new life again.

He'll redeem you from your enemies..."

In other words what you lost when you lived in the world, (in sin, in darkness, without God as your leader), will be found, again, once you turn back to God, (give your life to him, surrender your sins, repent, make him the leader of your life).  However, this time you will get back all that you've lost and then some; you will get back and there'll be no man that can take away from you ever again.

Yes, you may be down and out now, but it isn't over my friend, it is time to stop trying to take what was lost by your might and surrender it all to God.  Let him take the lead!  

Now, get ready - your life is going to be so blessed, so strong... so filled with strength and light!

Change

God can make changes in our lives in a split second! He can put us on paths and give us positions of greatness that we've never expected.  

Answer God's call - you've been blessed, chosen, and anointed; you are chosen to be His light and to show that He can make you shine in the face of impossibility.  

Yes, my friend, your life is going to go from good to great - you are a world changer thanks be to Christ Jesus.

You've been sought!

A righteous and just life

God's word says that when we repent from our sins and start living, "a righteous and just life - being generous to the down and out, restoring what we have stolen, cultivating life-nourishing ways that don't hurt others -...", we will live! (Jer. 33:14-16 MSG).  So, figure out how you are living right now, change your ways if you must, and live a true life, living all your days out enjoying this amazing life that God has given you.
