Don't waste time on nonsense
'This is what the Lord says: Do not go up to fight against your brothers, the Israelites. Go home, every one of you, for this is my doing.' " So they obeyed the word of the Lord and went home again, as the Lord had ordered.
1 Kings 12:24
Life is too short to fight battles that God doesn't want us to fight. Therefore, stop wasting precious time and energy on things that you cannot change, things you cannot control; they are God's battles and we must stand back and know that God has the victory - all victory. Therefore, in his time, and in his way, the victory will be had.

Fighting your enemies
"When you go to war against your enemies and see horses and chariots greater than yours, do not be afraid of them, because the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, will be with you... Do not be fainthearted or afraid; do not be terrified or give way to panic before them. For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory. "
Deuteronomy 20:1-4
When you keep all faith in God and know him as your Lord and Savior, then no enemy from the world, Hell, or high-water will be able to stand against you. Yes, when you have Christ, you have victory! Therefore, never fear, never be afraid; keep your chin held high; keep your heart, mind, and soul on Christ and the world will be yours for the taking.

God does the fighting so you don't have to
"Do not be afraid of them; the Lord your God himself will fight for you."
Deuteronomy 3:22
Since God does all the fighting for you, that means, God has all the victory. Therefore, stop fighting with your flesh, (which only wastes your precious time), and, instead, hand your battles over to the Lord as he will fight and win the battle for you. In doing this, not only will it save you a lot of unnecessary heartache and strength, it will give you peace and joy as you step up and simply take the victory he has already won for you.

Sin eats the life out of you
"... People will look at one another, see nothing but skin and bones, and shake their heads. This is what sin does." Ezekiel 4:17 MSG
Sin eats the life right out of a person -- refrain, by all means necessary, from it.

Mere mortals
“I know, God, that mere mortals
can’t run their own lives…”
Jeremiah 10:23 MSG
If we don’t let God run our lives, then we won’t have lives worth living for. Yes, when we let God runs our lives, we have victory, light, love, and the like. Without him, we have defeat, hate, war, and death.
Therefore, give your life to God - have a life worth living, and dying, for.

Wise words for America's leaders and a reminder for Americans
For those that are leading America, (or getting ready to lead America):
"... Live in fear of God - be most careful, for God hates dishonesty, partiality, and bribery... " +2 Chronicles 19:5-7, 8-10, MSG

For Americans:
"... God's word: Don't be afraid; don't pay any mind to this vandal horde. This is God's war, not yours... You won't have to lift a hand in this battle; just stand firm... Don't be afraid, don't waver... God is with you." +2 Chronicles 20:14-17, MSG

Human help vs. God's help
"... You were foolish to go for human help when you could have had God's help. Now you're in trouble - one round of war after another." +2 Chronicles 16:7-9, +MSG
When you forego God in your endeavors and prayer requests, you forego victory in your endeavors and prayer requests.

The battle before you.
When
you go to war against your enemy and see horses and chariots and
soldiers far outnumbering you, do not recoil in fear of them; God,
your God, who brought you up out of Egypt is with you. When the battle
is about to begin, let the priest come forward and speak to the troops.
He’ll say, “Attention, Israel. In a few minutes you’re going to do
battle with your enemies. Don’t waver in resolve. Don’t fear. Don’t
hesitate. Don’t panic. God, your God, is right there with you, fighting with you against your enemies, fighting to win.” Deuteronomy 20:1-4, The Message (MSG)
When faced with battles in life, remember God is with you, God is for you, and God will fight for you. Therefore, stand strong, stand tall, refrain from sinful behavior, and watch God give you the victory.
To Him be the glory, and to you be the victory.

Who's really in charge?
“No man has power to retain the spirit, or power over the day of death. There is no discharge from war, nor will wickedness
deliver those who are given to it.”
Ecclesiastes 8:8
Points to ponder:
· When it is God’s time for you to go then you will go – not a day before, not a day after.
· There will always be battles to fight, which means there will always be victories to be won.
· Wickedness ALWAYS LOSES.
