Stay on God's path.

Let's keep the words from our mouth clean and worthy of God's praise.

Take if off!

Pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace.

Warn others before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value and only ruins those who listen.

Avoid godless chatter.

Turn away from wickedness.

Flee from evil.

Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments.

Remember, quarreling, godless chatter, wickedness, evil, and foolishness and stupid arguments, all have one ending - RUIN! - and the person(s) choosing to engage in such activity will soon find such fate.  

Therefore, stay away!!

The cost of evil.

"... but I will recompense their wicked doing upon their own heads."

Yes, revenge and anger will flow through your mind when you come across vindictive, hurtful, hateful, lewd, wicked, or spiteful people.  However, your line of duty is to immediately pass that person, or those people, over to God; pray for them, forgive them and walk away!  

Remember, you have much better things to do and live for anyway!

Purge the darkness from within

7 Get rid of the old yeast that you may be a new batch without yeast--as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.¹

8 Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old yeast, the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with bread without yeast,² the bread of sincerity and truth.

Let’s make it a point to continually purge the dark, wicked, sinful thoughts, deeds, wishes, etc., from within by holding ourselves accountable to God and His Word.  I think one of the best things that we can ask ourselves on a continual basis is, “Is this something Jesus would say, do, or think?”.  If He wouldn’t, then we need to immediately begin to replace those wrong thoughts with His Word, and ask Him to help cleanse us of the unrighteousness we hold. Not only will our outlook on life be enlightened, but it will make Satan bow his head in defeat, and that, my friend, is something that can’t be passed up.

 

Be on guard!

"Be on guard against men [whose way or nature is to act in opposition to God]..." Matthew 10:17 AMP

Notice those whom you associate often with. What are their words and actions like?  Do they speak words of life to those around them (loving, gentle, patient, kind, helpful, positive, etc.), or do they speak words of death (negative, critical, harsh, offensive, repulsive, rude, etc)?  If you are around someone long enough, you should be able to pick up on signs. As well, God will give you warning signs of those whom you should keep your [heart and soul] distance if you ask Him. However, as a child of God and one called to be a light in a dark world, be careful not to alienate anyone because you think they are evil. Instead, make a point to speak words of life around them, and pray that they, too, will follow suit, and begin to hold themselves accountable for words and actions they shouldn't say or do.  BE a living example for them.  

My friend, you and I are called to make a difference in this world.  Even if it is to help only one person come to Christ in our entire lifetime, then that is what we should do.  Constantly ask yourself what your actions and words are like to those around you.  If they are anything less than God-approved, repent and change them.  This world needs us! God needs us to help change this world.  He wants every single person to end up in Heaven, and it is our duty to help make that happen.  So, keep your heart guarded at all times, but, always be forgiving and merciful.  Make a commitment to be a life changer for God!  Not only will you change the lives of others, you will notice blessed changes in your life - one right after the other, thanks be to our God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Secret Schemes

“For you [Babylon] have trusted in your wickedness; you have said, No one sees me… Therefore shall evil come upon you… no one will save you.” Isaiah 44:3

 

These words are a friendly reminder: Never think that you will be able to get away with any form of evil-doing; also known as, sin! No matter how smooth and nonchalant you think you are, God knows, God sees, and God will make sure that it comes to an end! Yikes!!

So, live God’s way! It is easier, more joyful, honest, prosperous, and full of love, freedom, and blessings that continually shower over His righteous ones.

Who's really in charge?

 

“No man has power to retain the spirit, or power over the day of death.  There is no discharge from war, nor will wickedness deliver those who are given to it.”

Ecclesiastes 8:8

Points to ponder:

·     God is in charge and He will do what He wants to do.
·     When it is God’s time for you to go then you will go – not a day before, not a day after.
·     There will always be battles to fight, which means there will always be victories to be won.
·       Wickedness ALWAYS LOSES.

Six things that God hates, seven are an abomination...

“These six things the Lord hates indeed, seven are an abomination…,

A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

A heart that manufactures wicked thoughts and plans, feet that are swift in running to evil,

A false witness…, and he who sows discord among his brethren.”

Proverbs 6:16-19

It is a fact, God hates: pride, lying, killing, wickedness, evil, and evil instigators.  If you happen to be in the midst of doing any of these, or are one of these, then back out now! It is time to humbly repent to the Lord and let Him cleanse you of your sins! Then, do whatever it takes to rectify the situation(s).  Otherwise, I assure you, if you continue in anything that God hates, your life will be a daily living hell, and living like that, my friend, won’t be fun.

Fate of the wicked

“There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.” Job 34:22

The wicked, and their wicked schemes stand NOT a chance with God - their fate is soon to come: 

A new home smack dab in the darkest pit of Hades.

God’s Word is proof that the wicked will not prevail ~ the wicked lose big time.

So, stay true to God and do your best to live His chosen path for your life, because it is the only way to everlasting victory.

Looks like we can stop wasting our precious time worrying over the wicked people in our lives, God has them under control; their destiny bleak.  So, step away and let God take care of them, (It is probably one you don’t want to be a part of anyway … it isn’t going to be pretty).

Don't mess with God's children!

“…Haman’s wicked scheme… return[ed] upon his own head…” +Esther 9:25

We are God’s beautiful children, and although we may not see the victory in the natural, it is there and God will make sure it is given each of us at just the right time!

Our God will not let the darkness of the world harm his children more than we can bear.  So, as His children, we need to turn the notch up on our faith and know that our victory will soon be gleaming brightly for us to take hold of and claim for our own.
