Proverbs 5:21: God knows... God sees!

A wise and discerning heart

"So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong... "

1 Kings 3:9

Instead of asking for wealth, health, blessings, and miracles, why don't we follow in the steps of Solomon and begin to ask God for discernment and wisdom?  For like Solomon, if we seek God for these two things, (wisdom and discernment), wealth, health, blessings, and miracles in which we seek will be added... no begging, whining, or wishing required.

Walking in the ways of the wicked

"Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit at the seat of mockers.  But his delight is in the law of the Lord...whatever he does prospers." 

Psalm 1: 1-3

Waste no time in evil and wicked ways (nor with evil and wicked people).  For those that do can be guaranteed these: their time is short and their steps will soon take them to the pits of darkness, death, and destruction.  

Therefore, delight yourself in God, and as the Word of God says, (in a nutshell), 'blessed is the man who delights himself in God for whatever he does - in goodness - prospers'. 

Why keep sinning the same sin?

"Why do you harden your hearts as the Egyptians did?..."

1 Samuel 6:6

Why keep sinning the same sin over and over again? The outcome is always the same: DISASTER.

Therefore stop the sin, put an end to your sure defeat!  Ask God to help you - he will!  He will give you a way out and he will put you on the path to make your 'wrongs' right.

Some ‘do nots’ to take heed to.

“Do not spread false reports... Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong...do not show favoritism... do not deny justice to the poor... do not accept a bribe...”

Exodus 23:1-8

These ‘do nots’ will not only keep you out of trouble, they will keep you from the likes of Satan.

God is our witness

”...God is the witness between you and me.”

Genesis 31:50

If God is our witness, then let’s make sure he’s witnessing doing right by him in all things and in all ways.

Friends, always keep this knowledge in the forefront of your mind:

God sees everything, hears everything, knows everything... period!!

Every good thing

“…I want you also to be smart, making sure every “good” thing is the real thing. Don’t be gullible in regard to smooth-talking evil. Stay alert like this, and before you know it the God of peace will come down on Satan with both feet, stomping him into the dirt…” Romans 16:190-20 MSG

If you want to know what to believe, what decisions to make, and choices to take, then dig into The Word.  In there you will find all guidelines and answers you need to move forward as well as what you should believe when it comes to worldly talk and ways.  Yes, in His Word you can test every worldly-stamped, so-called, good-thing and see if it aligns with God's words; if what the world says doesn't line up, turn and run from it – fast! And don't look back, it isn't worth your time or salvation.

Innocence

"... Mark this: Unless you accept God's kingdom in the simplicity of a child, you'll never get in." Luke 18:15-17 MSG

Hence: Receive God's Word as is, adding nothing to it, taking nothing away from it.  What is written, IS: easy, plain and simple, yes and no, right and wrong... life or death.

God loves you this much

God loves you so much and no matter what you've done, if you will open your life up to Him, (turn away from sin and darkness, seek him with your whole mind, body, and soul), He will open his arms up to you and:

" 'They will be my people, I will be their God... I will restore everything that was lost'

 I'll build everything back as good as new... I'll forgive everything they've done wrong, forgive all rebellions..."

So, turn back to Him - He is waiting with arms open wide!

Insults are from man, not God

"...Pay no attention to insults, and when mocked

Insults are from man, not God.  Therefore, shake them off - they aren't worth your time or worry!  

You are God's child, you are made for greatness, and wasting your time on what others say about you will only delay your God-given destiny.

Come back home to God

Have you lost sight of God and fallen into the world?  Do you feel like you are lost in the dark right now?  If so, take an internal look at your relationship with God; do you have one anymore - have you ever really had one?  Is it not as strong as it once was, as strong as it could be?  Well, don't worry, with God it is never to late to run to him. And, no matter how many times you fall, he'll keep taking your back, he is always waiting with arms wide open.  

So, take back your life by running to God and let him lighten up your life like it's never been lit before.  It is time for you to live - it is time for you to shine.

Lady Wisdom

Proverbs 2:10-12New International Version (NIV)

10 For wisdom will enter your heart,
    and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.
11 Discretion will protect you,
    and understanding will guard you.
12 Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men,
    from men whose words are perverse...

Blame

"... We each pay personally for our sins." 

2 Kings 14:5-6 MSG

Since God holds no one else accountable for our sins, neither should we.

Rely on God

1 Samuel 16:7 +The Message (MSG)

⁷ But God told Samuel, “Looks aren’t everything. Don’t be impressed with his looks and stature. I’ve already eliminated him. God judges persons differently than humans do. Men and women look at the face; God looks into the heart.”

Looks can be deceiving – don’t rely on them!  Rely on God!  Rely on the thoughts that he places deep within your heart – those are the ones that will lead you to the right people and keep you away from wrong people, regardless of looks, color, creed, or background.

 

God won't walk out on you.

1 Samuel 12:20-22The Message (MSG)

^20-22 Samuel said to them, “Don’t be fearful. It’s true that you have done something very wrong. All the same, don’t turn your back on God. Worship and serve him heart and soul! Don’t chase after ghost-gods. There’s nothing to them. They can’t help you. They’re nothing but ghost-gods! God, simply because of who he is, is not going to walk off and leave his people. God took delight in making you into his very own people.

No matter what you've done, God still loves you!  How could He not love you, He created you?!  He wrote every day of your life before you were ever born.  Your life is not a waste, your life is not over, and your life is not meaningless.  No, your life is just beginning and you have an amazing future ahead of you.  So, let Him in - repent, forgive, and open your heart.   God is here to stay - He will never leave you, and one you thing you can always be certain of: you can count on Him forever, to eternity and beyond!

There are Angels ahead of you.

“Now get  yourselves ready.  I’m sending my Angel ahead of you to guard you in your travels, to lead you to the place that I’ve prepared.”  Exodus 23:20-24

Not only is God with us, but He has angels protecting our paths as well, which means, when God leads, we cannot go wrong.  So, have no fear when you feel the call of God leading you in a new direction, He’s got the path before you clear and guarded, and all you have to do is follow it…. Now, get moving!

God is in the right

“… God is in the right and my people are in the wrong…” Exodus 9:27-28

God is never, ever wrong, and His word never, ever fails.  So, trying to persuade yourself or someone else otherwise is a complete waste of precious, life-breathing time.  So, make it easy on yourself and do what He says to do, as well as, honor the words written in His Word.
