Oh how mighty God’s glory is!

“If the Lord is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us...the Lord is with us.  Do not be afraid of them.

...Then the glory of the Lord appeared...”

Numbers 14:8-10

When you trust in, believe in, listen to, and let God lead the way, his glory will shine ever-so-brightly in your life - leading you from glory to glory to glory.

The leading actor

“If we want a life other than mere biology, we must deal with God.  There is no alternate way… for it is, after all, his story; none of us is the leading character in the story of our life.”  The Message, by Eugene H. Peterson, (pg. 392).

Yes, this is your life, however, it is God’s story, and he’s given you a roll in it.  So, since we are in his story, then we must always remember that  no matter how hard you try to take the leading roll, God will always be the actor that takes home the prize.

Skills

"... I've given the skills to make all the things I've commanded you..." Exodus 31: 6-11,  

The Message

It doesn't matter who you are, where you come from, how much money you have, or don't have, when God leads to do something, He will make sure you have the skills to get it done.  

Therefore, be bold and follow God's lead without losing heart, and, remember, when you get to a point that you don't think you have the ability to accomplish what you've set out to do, cry out to God, He'll step in and give you, or give you someone, with the ability to do what needs to be done.

There are Angels ahead of you.

“Now get  yourselves ready.  I’m sending my Angel ahead of you to guard you in your travels, to lead you to the place that I’ve prepared.”  Exodus 23:20-24

Not only is God with us, but He has angels protecting our paths as well, which means, when God leads, we cannot go wrong.  So, have no fear when you feel the call of God leading you in a new direction, He’s got the path before you clear and guarded, and all you have to do is follow it…. Now, get moving!

Whatever we ask

“And we receive from Him whatever we ask, because we [watchfully] obey His orders [observe His suggestions and injunctions, follow His plan for us] and [habitually] practice what is pleasing to Him.” 1 John 3:22 AMPC

There could be two reasons that we don’t receive what we desire, what we are hoping for: Either we aren’t asking, or we are asking, but we aren’t doing what the Holy Spirit is leading us to do in other areas of our lives.  We can’t be asking God for blessings, yet doing nothing for God in return; we should be asking and doing both.  So, think about your prayers, then think about your actions – do they coincide with the leading of the Lord in your life?  If not, change your actions and ask with a pure heart.  Now, if they do line up, and what you are asking for still isn’t coming into fruition, then what you are asking for isn’t good enough for you, and God has something much better in store.  So, keep the faith, live with patience, and let the good Lord bring your prayers into reality in His way and in His timing.

 

When God leads...

“…He led them safely and in confident trust, so that they feared not…” Psalm 78:53

With God leading the way, fear need not be contemplated.
