God is true

“Whoever receives His testimony has set his seal of approval to this: God is true…” John 3:33 AMP

God is true, there is no other;
believe in Him, receive Him in, and declare Him the Lord and Savior of your life - for now, and forevermore!

God so greatly loved the world

“For God so greatly loved and clearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. John 3:16 AMP

Jesus loves us so much that He died a torturous death so we can live an amazing life.

So, honor Him…
live it!!

Perfection is God, not human!

"And He did not need anyone to bear witness concerning man [needed no evidence from anyone about men], for He Himself knew what was in human nature.  [He could read men's hearts.] John 2:25 AMP

God knows us, and He knows that we are not perfect, which means we can stop trying so darn hard to be.  Perfection is God, not human, and as humans, we will always fall short.  Some of us, myself included, practically kill ourselves trying to be perfect, and all we are doing is using precious energy, frustrating our lives, and overwhelming our hearts - essentially, wasting precious time. All God  wants from us is our undying love and faith in Him and to give Him our imperfect selves; and, in turn, He will turn us more and more into His perfect likeness.

So, trust in God to perfect you; do the best you can in all situations, and cut yourself some slack when you fall short.  Life is too short, God loves you too much, and there is nothing you can do that is going to allow you to be the perfect human.  As a matter of fact, be honored when you fall short, because if your faith is true, and you hand your imperfection over to Him, you can be witness to some amazing miracles that will soon come to pass in your life ... and, boy-oh-boy, His miracles are not something we ever want to miss!!

Look!!

"... Look! There is the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world! [Exod. 12:3; Isa. 53:7.] John 1:29 AMP

Open your eyes!  Look!  Look around you, not only with your eyes, but with your heart as well.  My friends, God is EVERYWHERE at all times, in all things, and in all situations and circumstances - good or, so-called, bad; living gloomy, sad lives is not an option for those who call Him Lord and Savior.  Therefore, open up your eyes today, open up your heart today; begin to let Him turn your life around, especially if you've let yourself fall into darkness because of situations, people, or circumstances.  In Christ, we are to be full of life: expecting; hopeful; joyful; loving; kind; and full of His light;  and we are to live like it!   Therefore, look for Him in every single part of your life.  He is there!!  Yes, sometimes, He may be harder to find, but He IS there, and the moment you find Him, your situation or circumstance with begin to make sense, and the peace of God will fill you with an understanding that goes beyond all worldly comprehension.

Alive from the dead

“… Why do you look for the living among [those who are] dead?” Luke 24:5 AMP

What is dead in your life? What is dragging you down, doing your heart no good, or taking away the joy in your life?  If there is anything, absolutely anything (or anyone), then prayer is a must, and changes are in order.  Now I know that some people and things cannot be removed from your life, but with the power of prayer and the grace of our good God, you can change the way you view and handle them.  So, instead of letting your life be ruled by the dead, (situations, people, addictions, frustrations, etc.), begin to rule the dead by grabbing hold of God; He will turn your hurt into healing, your sadness into joy, your hate into love, and bring what is dead in your life into life that is overflowing with grace, joy and mighty peace of God.

Know God?

"And [said Jesus,] I tell you that to everyone who gets and has will more be given, but from the man who does not get and does not have, even what he has will be taken away." Luke 19:26 AMP

Know God, and spend quality time with Him on a consistent basis?  Then, this life that you live now will will prove to be fulfilled in ways that bring ease to your heart and joy to your soul.  You will come to the end of your life filled with Jesus; peaceful, joyful, satisfied, blessed, and loved.

Don't know God, and aren't taking the time trying to know God?  Then, this life that you work so hard to obtain all of your goals and dreams in will only prove to be tireless, never-ending works that will never fully satisfy.  You will come to the end of your life worn out, unfulfilled, unsatisfied, and, more than likely, alone and heavy burdened.

Therefore, get to know God more and more ~ make this life you are living one to be lived for!!

And Jesus prayed

“And Jesus prayed, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do…” Luke 23:24 AMP

Jesus loves all of us so much; in the midst of extreme torment from the world, He prayed forgiveness for the world.  WOW!! How can we not love Him, and how can we not want to give our lives to Him?

My friend, Jesus loves you so much! No matter how bad the world says you are, Jesus loves you in spite of it all - there is nothing you can do that will make Him turn His back on you.  So, let Him take care of you, let Him take care of your life, and let Him lead you into eternal paradise.

Pray at all times, for all things.

“… He said to them, Pray that you may not [at all] fall into temptation.” Luke 22:40 AMP

Temptation is sure to come, but, remember, God comes before temptation.

Thus, make God your life’s first priority, praying to Him at all times and for all things, so that temptation stands not a chance when it tries to overcome you.

Trust God with your words

“Resolve and settle in your minds not to meditate and prepare beforehand how you are to make your defense and how you will answer.
For I [Myself] will give you a mouth and such utterance and wisdom that all of your foes combined will be unable to stand against or refute.”
Luke 21:14-15 AMP

Trust God with your words and rely not on your own knowledge or understanding, because, in yourself, your words will drown you; in God, your words will glorify you.

The chief Cornerstone

“… The [very] Stone which the builders rejected has become the chief Stone of the corner [cornerstone].” Luke 20:17 AMP

We must be very careful of what and whom we reject, because it may just be that when the tables turn, (which they will on those living in sin), that the what or whom may be the one thing, or one person who could have been the answer to your prayers.  Therefore, always remember, your answer, help, or healing can come from a myriad of resources and people, so make sure to treat everyone and everything around you with love and respect.

Speedily He works on our behalf

"... they ought always to pray and not to 'turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up)." Luke 18:1 AMP

Never, ever, ever, give up on what you are praying for!  Whatever is good and God-approved, and you know and want it to come to pass, must be continually prayed about on your end if you want it to come to pass speedily.  No, it may not look like anything is happening in the natural, but I guarantee that God is working in the supernatural, and He's working speedily.  But, remember, He is working at a speed that is going to bless you the most,  not in a speed that is going to bless you just because you want it quickly. Sometimes our prayers take time to come about because the others involved need time to jump on board, allowing our prayers to become even more amazing when they do come to fruition.  Believe me, His speed is the speed in which you want your prayers to work anyway.  If your prayers come to pass on your timing, then they won't be nearly what you were hoping for.  OK, so you may ask, How do I guarantee that God is working speedily on our behalf when we pray? Well, I'll tell you: because God's Word is truth - it never lies, and it is written, "And will not [our just] God defend (His chosen ones), who cry to Him day and night?... I tell you, He will defend and protect and avenge them speedily..." (Luke 18:7-8); therefore, I need no more proof than that.

So, continually pray to God, and believe Him for what you are praying for.  God, knows what you we need and want before we ask, but like His Word says, when we continually pray and ask, God continually works and moves speedily on our.  Yes, my friends, continual, heart-felt, prayers work!  Try it, and I guarantee that yours, too, will come to pass - God Word says so!!

The kingdom of God is within you.

“… For behold, the kingdom of God is within you [in your hearts] and among you [surrounding you].” Luke 17:21 AMP

You – yes, you – are God’s kingdom. So, tell me, are you living as such???

The fool of fools

“… you are the ones who declare yourselves just and upright before men, but God knows your hearts…” Luke 16:15 AMP

You cannot, absolutely cannot, fool God.  Therefore, rid yourself of your phony behavior, because all it is doing is blocking you from Heaven, all the while, building up so much steam, that soon, when asked, “Who is the fool of fools?”, all eyes will turn to you.

Ask, seek, knock

"So I say to you, Ask and keep on asking and it shall be given you; seek and keep on seeking and you shall find; knock and keep on knocking and the door shall be opened to you. For everyone who asks and keeps on asking receives; and he who seeks and keeps on seeking finds; and to him who knocks and keeps on knocking, the door shall be opened. Luke 11:9-10 AMP

God's Word is truth, it never fails.  So, ask, seek, and knock for what you want in this life, and it will be granted you.  However, be careful of what you continually ask, seek, and knock for, because, remember, it will be granted to you.

Hence, ask, seek, and knock for love, prosperity, abundance, health, healing, wholeness, light, faith, hope, joy and peace, and they will be granted.  On the other hand, ask, seek, and knock for darkness, anger, resentment, hurt, pain, vengeance and hatred, and they will be granted to you as well.  Therefore, focus on the good and God-like things to pray for, because the opposite will only prove to be death to your soul and sometimes even your flesh.

Help God throw a party

But it was fitting to make merry, to revel and feast and rejoice, for this brother of yours was dead and is alive again! He was lost and is found! Luke 15:32 AMP

Help God throw a party! Make it your daily goal and priority to help bring another lost soul to Christ.  Be a light of life and joy and peace for a soul in desperate need of a miracle; you never know, you just may be the one that influences that dark soul to keep moving forward for another day.

So, live for the good of others by living out Gods light within you.  I believe that when you do, and one person draws closer to Christ because of it, then Heaven opens up, the bands start playing, the choir starts singing, and our good God starts dancing the streets.

Yes, praise God, you are somebodys miracle!

Repentance is key

“…unless you repent (change your mind for the better and heartily amend your ways, with abhorrence of your past sins), you will likewise perish and be lost eternally.” Luke 13:3,5

Repent for your sins!
Why? Because repentance brings salvation, sin brings punishment; repentance brings ease, sin brings complication; repentance is freeing, sin is imprisonment; repentance brings honor, sin brings corruption; and, most importantly, repentance is the key to eternal life, sin is the key to Hades (hell).

So, let me end by asking, Why live a dirty, complicated, unfulfilling, and dark life, when God and His Word are at your beckon call to forgive and save you from it all?

Please God

"I tell you, My friends, do not dread and be afraid of those who kill the body... But I will warn you whom you shall fear, fear Him Who, after killing, has power to hurl into hell (Gehenna); yes, I say to you, fear Him!" Luke 12:4-5 AMP

In other words:

Do not - I repeat, do NOT - spend you life pleasing man;
spend you life pleasing God!

It will be granted to you

You have power over darkness!

“Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.” Luke 10:19AMP

You have the power to keep all forces of darkness, including Satan himself, below your feet. Don’t go another day burdened down by hurt, anger, hatred, resentment, loss, fear, and the like; stomp them all below your feet and make it a point to go out and live this day, and every day from now to eternity, to the fullest, in peace, knowing that God has something amazing and new for your everyday!

Yes, my friend, today, and every day, is your day, therefore, let not the darkness of man or beast ruin it for you. God has blessed you with this one life, and He wants you to live it out to the fullest of your God-given gifts and abilities – so, go and live it!

Don't look back

“… No one who puts his hand to the plow, and looks back [to the things behind] is fit for the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62 AMP

When you make a decision – big or little – then move forward and don’t look back.  I know, easier said than done, but it is a must when we want to move forward in God’s good plans for our lives.

Remember, looking forward brings endless possibilities, but looking back brings nothing but, what if’s, which only cause unnecessary internal stress and anxiety.

So, stay focused on God, and His plans for your life.  Shake the pains from the past off of your feet, and go live out the amazing life God has just for you.

Simply believe

“…Do not be seized with alarm or struck with fear; simply believe [in me as able to do this], and she shall be made well.”
Luke 8:50 AMP

Believe in God, and all will be well; believe in the world, and all will go awry.

Nothing complicated about this – simply believe!

You look so beautiful today!!

"Even now the ax is laid to the root of trees, so that every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire." Luke 3:9 AMP

What parts of your life are not producing good fruit?  What parts of your personality are causing  darkness in your heart and soul?  What, if any, part of your environment in which you live, and have control over, needs to be changed and/or removed?  When you go to bed at night, what do you least want to think about, (such as an attitude or trait within yourself; a friend that you need to stay away from; a family member that is bringing you down; the way you treat your spouse; your career choice and ethics, etc.), that you know needs to be changed and/or improved?  Yes, lots of questions, but ones that need to be asked on a consistent basis.  I believe that we need to do whatever it takes to keep any type of darkness, fear, anger, resentment, and the like out of our lives - both internally and externally.  So, join me in making it a daily priority to do so; we can start with baby-steps, and before we know it, those baby steps will turn into giant leaps if our faith is pure in what we want to accomplish.

Remember, that Jesus died for us so that our lives will be filled with light, and lots of it.  He died so that we could be a light to those around us.  So, before you leave your house today, make a change - even an ever-so-tiny one - to improve your quality of life, and the quality of your heart within.  I believe and know that it's going to make your heart leap with joy, and will make those around you turn and look twice wondering what you've done differently to make you look so beautiful today!

Although your sins are many...

“Therefore I tell you, her sins, many [as they are], are forgiven her ...”
Luke 7:47 AMP

It doesn’t matter where you’ve been, what you’ve done, who you are, or who you know - when you are ready to follow Christ, He lovingly accepts and approves of you just the way you are. So, be who He has created you to be, and stop being what the world wants you to be.

My friend, God adores you and He is patiently waiting for you to let Him love you, bless you, heal you, and set you free… so, run to Him.

Step out into the deep waters

"... Put out into the deep [water], and lower your nets for a haul." Luke 5:4 AMP

If you feel a call on your life, and you know there is more for you then what you are accustomed, then go for it.  Grab hold of God, and take a leap - both feet, no holds barred -  of faith.  God won't put anything on your heart that you cannot accomplish, or see come to pass.  If He's placed it on your heart, and there is opportunity, then go for it.

Now, some of you, including myself, may wonder how you will know if it's God giving you the opportunity, desire, or thought?  Well, from what I have learned from God's word and my own life, a few things will come into play.  First and probably foremost, the desire and a sense of confidence is placed on your heart that you normally don't feel; and/or, the opportunity will almost seam unbelievable, yet it is there for you to take; and/or God, will give you hints that you know are in relation to your decision; plus, you will not feel confused about what step take, even if you a bit nervous to take it; and, most of all you will have a peace about taking it, although your knees tremble at the thought.

It is so important to keep our relationship with God first in our lives.  He has amazing plans, possibilities, opportunities, and ventures for each of us, however, if we lose sight of Him, then we won't have the knowledge, and blessing to take take the bold steps that are waiting out there for us to take.  Therefore, remember: God first! And, from there, the possibilities, blessing, and miracles of this life our endless, and they all have your name written, by God, all over them.

Don't let Jesus pass through your midst.

"But passing through their midst, He went on His way." Luke 4:30 AMP

I wonder how many of us have let Jesus pass through our midst without seeing Him because we are too caught up in the world, ourselves, our situations, and our circumstances.  Sadly, I know I have many a time.  How about you? Well, let's not let it happen anymore.

As most of us know, life starts to go by way too quickly as we get older, which also means, that we've had many opportunities in life, but we've failed to jump on them... we let them pass by, and then when we were ready, it was too late.  It's time to start looking, waiting, and stepping out in faith, when we sense the presence of God in any situation, or circumstance in our lives.  It is time to get bold and fight the good fight, and stay away from the destructive patterns of Satan - his battles are wastes of our time, and, thanks be to God, we can squash him the moment he tries to mess up our lives.

Therefore, keep the nonsense out of your life by staying close to God and His Word.  Don't let your eyes, mind, body, and soul wander off into this world, and stay focused, and determined to obtain the glorious life that God has for you.  As well, shake off the dust of darkness in your life, and let the Light begin to shine - there are amazing feats to be conquered that have your name written all over them ~ Go for it!!

Blessed is the believer

“And blessed (happy, to be envied) is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of the things that were spoken to her from the Lord.” Luke 1:45 AMP

Blessed, (adored, exalted, beatified, divine, glorified, redeemed, rewarded, saved), are those who believe in the One who was, the One who is, and the One who always will be, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
