Everlasting strength

"For thus saith the Lord God... in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength."
Isaiah 30:15

Find quiet time with Christ every day, for in him lies unending and everlasting strength to keep living and moving.

But Gideon said to them, "I will not rule over you, nor will my son rule over you.  The Lord God will rule over you."
Judges 8:23

Follow no man!  Follow only God!
For man leads to destruction, but God leads to life everlasting.

Freedom that never quits

“Since we’re free in freedom of God, can we do anything that comes to mind?  Hardly.  You know well enough from your own experience that there are some acts of so-called freedom that destroy freedom.  Offer yourselves to sin, for instance, and it’s your last free act.  But offer yourselves to the ways of God and the freedom never quits.”
Romans 6:15-16 MSG

Live a life of sin and there is no such thing as freedom.  However, live a life devoted to God and everlasting freedom becomes yours!

Our boldest enemies

"You are glorious and more majestic than the everlasting mountains.  Our boldest enemies have been plundered... no warrior could lift a hand against us..."
Psalm 76:4-5

For those of us that know Christ is on our side, our victories never end.

Take hold of God's strength

“…let them take hold of My strength and make complete surrender to My protection, that they may make peace with Me! Yes, let them make peace with me!” Isaiah 27:5

Everlasting peace is yours when you grab hold of God’s strength, letting go of your own; when you surrender yourself to only Him, letting go of your confidence in the world

Yes, when you put yourself in the strong arms of God, peace begins to surround you, fill you, burdens begin to lift, worries become the worlds, and your life becomes more meaningful. So, let God be your strength - your protector - and really begin to experience the meaning of constant and perfect peace. I’ll bet that if you do, the environment and people around you will soon follow suit, making life that much more of a treasure to embrace.

Everlasting victory

“He will swallow up death [in victory; He will abolish death forever].  And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; and the reproach of His people He will take away...”  Isaiah 25:8

Once you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, dying becomes the ultimate victory.  Yes, I truly believe that once we go home to be with the Lord, then we will really be ALIVE; life as we know it now will be bittersweet compared to the life that we will live in Heaven.  All of our woes, fears, hurts, agonies, sicknesses, ailments, hindrances and horrors on Earth will be nothing more than brief memories; memories that we ultimately become thankful for, because they each brought us one step closer to Jesus… one step closer to everlasting victory.
