All you have to do is ask

“You also gave your good Spirit to instruct them… “ +Nehemiah 9:20

God didn’t put you in this world to live lost, confused, defeated, or alone.  No, He put you here to be the flesh for His Spirit.  Therefore, you never have to worry that there is no answer, no way out, no direction, or nowhere to go, because with God living within you, there is always a way, an answer, a direction, and a place to go.

Yes, God lives within you, so ask Him for instruction, and when you take one baby step in faith, He will carry you forward a thousand more.

Cry out!!

“… In the time of their suffering when they cried out to You, You heard them…and…You saved them… “ +Nehemiah 9:27

Stop trying to fix it yourself!  STOP!!  Instead, cry out to God!! His Word is proof that if you do, He will hear you and He will help you.

Pure bliss

“…And be not grieved and depressed, for the Lord is your strength and stronghold [shelter].” +Nehemiah 8:10

Pure bliss in Christ

Joy is: STRENGTH

Joy is: SHELTER

God is: JOY

Therefore, when you choose to live and stay in Joy, (God), then you have the Strength and Shelter, (God), to pull you through.

God’s commandments are not just commands that we have to memorize, yet continue to live the defeated lives we live. No, God’s commands are for us to live out, to base the foundation of who we are upon.  His commands make us better, stronger, joyful, peaceful and content, prosperous, loving, kinder, humble, and wise.  His commands make us stand outside the crowd and become blessings to many others. 

God’s commands aren’t something to be fearful of, they are something to embrace, so let’s embrace them and do what He is telling us to do!

Separate yourself from sin

It is my belief that there are many of us that feel we are our sins, that our sins are part of who we are. Well, it’s time to stop defeating ourselves by believing this, and it is time for us to begin to look at our sins differently.

Instead of looking from the inside-out of your sin, take a look at it from the outside-in; separate yourself.  Sin does not determine us, God does.  So, let Him show you how to kick your sin to the curb and begin anew; let Him show you the cure and give you the tools, love, support, and grace you need to overcome. Yes, let God lead your way and give sin the attention it deserves: NONE!!!

The hand of God

Those of us that are continually seeking the Lord can rest assured that He is holding us, guiding us, protecting us, and loving us. Yes, even with all the commotion around us we can keep our peace, because we know that we are secure in His mighty hand, carefully being carried through this crazy life of ours.

Discouragement and opposition

Discouragement and opposition are certain in life.  Therefore, be prepared for them in advance using prayer and supplication to God as your weapon.  Then, when those two little annoyances pop up along your way, you can smile, wave, and continue moving forward to your goal without giving them a millisecond of your time or attention.

The good Lord has given you a beautiful body, a beautiful life, and a beautiful Spirit; YOU are His house my friend, He has put you in charge of it.  Therefore, if you haven’t stepped up to plate and started living as the miracle that you are, then it is time to do so; become a house that God proudly dwells in!  Live boldly for God: loving, generous, kind, courageous, full of zeal, bright, open, clean, and joyful.

Opposing God isn't a good idea...EVER!

“…Refrain from opposing God… lest He destroy you.” +2 Chronicles 35:21

One thing is certain in life: Oppose God and destruction is guaranteed.

Affliction or blessing?

“When he was in affliction, he besought the Lord… humbled himself greatly… and God… heard his supplication…” +2 Chronicles 33:12-13

Why wait until you are in affliction to seek God? Seek God NOW – ALWAYS – and that affliction that was headed your way, may just pass you up !! Amen to that, huh?!!

Now, what happens if you’ve been seeking God and you are still hit with an affliction?  Well, besides ‘the world’ and your flesh telling you it’s an affliction, is God telling you that?  What you see as an affliction might just turn out to be one of your biggest blessings yet!! 

 

Begin to look outside your worldly box, and start looking to God – yes, you may be saying, ‘affliction’, but He may be saying otherwise.

Be victorious before the battle

“Be strong and courageous… with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.” 2 Chronicles 32:7-8

Instead of trying to fight our battles in our humanly flesh form, why don’t we go straight to the Defeater of all our enemies – God Almighty?  He is our guarantee of a lot less wasted time, heartache, frustration, anger, and fear.

So, let’s make a firm decision: God is our first and foremost plan of action when we come across anything that shows signs of battle in our lives.

God approved

“For if you go [in spite of God’s warning], no matter how strong you are…, God will cast you down before the enemy, for God has the power to help and to cast down.” +2 Chronicles 25:8

If we don’t have God’s blessing when we make decisions (even when it seems we have all the right means), then we are 100% guaranteed of making life extra hard on ourselves!!

Don’t do it unless God approves it!!

Stand and take them for yourselves

“…Jehoiada took strength and courage…” +2Chronicles 23:1

We cannot sit and wait for strength and courage to come to us, we must stand in the name of Jesus and take hold of them ourselves, making sure to never, ever let them go.

Not knowing is OK.

“… We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.” 2 Chronicles 20:12

There is no need for us to know all the answers all the time, God knows!  So, if we stay focused on Him He will soon bring it all to pass.

Keep believing, keep knowing, and keep being faithful – your victory is coming.

 

Whose battle is it?

“You shall not need to fight in this battle, take your positions, stand tall, and see the deliverance of the Lord…” +2 Chronicles 20:17

No matter the battle we face, as long as we don’t back down and we continue to stand tall in faith, then God will make sure that we come out the other side victorious, redeemed, healed, whole, and completely set free.

Hallelujah !!

The Judge above all judges

“…[judge, evaluate, and decipher carefully] in the fear of the Lord, faithfully, with integrity and a blameless heart.” +2 Chronicles 19:9

If you are put into a position to judge, evaluate, or unscramble a person, situation, or circumstance, then make sure to do it with the right mind and heart-set, knowing that ultimately God is the Judge above all judges, and if you judge unfairly, with the wrong motives, then you too will be judged by Him accordingly.

Cheerful & Courageous

"His heart was cheered and his courage was high in the ways of the Lord... " 2 Chronicles 17:6

Walk with God; in His ways, and never again will you need to feel intimidated, scared, sad, mad, hurt, down-cast, or demoralized.

The Lord is your cure

"... yet in his disease he did not seek the Lord, but relied on physicians... dying in the forty first year of his reign." +2 Chronicles 16:12-13

Close your eyes to worldly healing and open your eyes to God's healing...

He has all the healing you need; He is your healing, and He will lead you to the right person, place, or medicine to speed up the healing process for you! TRUST HIM.

Mighty or powerless...

"... it makes no difference to You whether the one You help is mighty or powerless..." +2 Chronicles 14:11

It doesn't matter who one thinks he/she is or isn't ... if they haven't accepted God as their Lord and Savior then they might as well give up and play dead, because the good Lord is getting ready to run them down with righteousness anyway.

Pride vs Humility ~ Death vs Life

“When Rehoboam humbled himself, the wrath of the Lord turned from him.”

Pride equals the absence of God in one’s life: Hence, death and destruction.

Humility equals the presence of God in one’s life: Hence, life and victory.

Kindness - respect - goodness

“If you are kind to people… and speak good words to them, they will be your servants forever.”

Being kind, respectful, and good to others will soften even the hardest of hearts.
