Stop being pitiful
"The Lord said to Samuel, "How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and be on your way..."
1 Samuel 16:1
You've been feeling sorry for yourself long enough. It's time to move on - get over it; it is time to be on your way to new and better things in life.

Anything worthwhile in our lives
“I cannot do it, Joseph replied to Pharaoh, “but God will give Pharaoh the answer he deserves.”
Genesis 41:16
We cannot do anything worthwhile in our lives without God – period!!
Us, without God, equals fruitlessness; us, with God, equals fruitfulness.
So, seek God for everything and he will do for you all that you desire – and even better than you could ever think!!

Don’t be unbelieving. Believe
“Don’t be unbelieving. Believe!! Better blessings are in store for those who believe without seeing.”
Adapted from John 20:27, 29 MSG
God is with you! God is alive within you! God’s glory shines through you! YOU are God’s flesh and you are God’s masterpiece. Therefore, live like it, act like it, and, above all else, believe it!

Guidance
“… But before you do anything, ask God for
guidance.” 1 Kings 22:4-5, MSG
If we all heed the words of this verse, our
lives will be much better off, and the world in which we live be a much better place.

Your new, real self in Christ
The moment we decide to call ourselves children of the Most High God, is the moment we must immediately begin to pursue these characteristics written by Paul in Colossians (3:3, 8-15). These pursuits must begin at the deepest part of our most innermost souls:
Since you have died, and your new, real life is hidden with Christ in God, put away and rid yourselves completely of all these things: anger, rage, bad feeling toward others, curses and slander, and foulmouthed abuse and shameful utterances, and lying. Instead, put on behavior marked by tenderhearted pity and mercy, kind feeling, a lowly opinion of yourselves, gentle ways, and patience which is tireless and long suffering, and has the power to endure whatever comes with good temper.
So, even if you outwardly proclaim your salvation to the world, God knows your soul, and that is what will determine eternal life, or to eternal death - the choice is yours. However, if your choice is for eternal life with Christ, then characteristics need to follow suite, and pursued with all might.
Therefore, make a point to be more like Christ everyday - I guarantee your life will never be the same, and you will become like a fine wine... getting better and better everyday.

Live the good life!
“…keep my commandments and do them…” +Deuteronomy 30:1-5, & +Nehemiah 1:9
| Thank you +dallasvoice.com |
God’s
commandments are not just commands that we have to memorize, yet
continue to live the defeated lives we live. No,
God’s commands are for us to live out, to base the foundation of who we
are upon. His commands make us better, stronger, joyful, peaceful and
content, prosperous, loving, kinder, humble, and wise. His commands
make us stand outside the crowd and become blessings
to many others.
God’s commands aren’t something to be fearful of, they are something to embrace, so let’s embrace them and do what He
is telling us to do!
Live the good life – live for God.
