God first. First, God!

"... First, seek the counsel of the Lord."
1 Kings 22:5

First, seek God; not last, not as a last resort, not if it sounds good, not if all your friends give you the wrong answer... NO - FIRST seek God! FIRST!
Not only will God save you a ton of time and unnecessary mistakes, but he will also be your ease and grace as you move forward with your life in confidence and strength.

When God gives you direction, follow it!

"...so David inquired of the Lord, and he answered..." 2 Samuel 5:23

"...David did as the Lord commanded him..." 2 Samuel 5:25

How did David become so mighty, powerful, and anointed?   Two ways: First, he inquired of God before he made any drastic decisions, and second, he did what the Lord told him to do - hence he had all trust and had faith in the Lord for his plans and endeavors.   So, my point, you ask?  Simple: seek God first, (first, and, did I mention, first), then do what God tells you to do without looking around for different answers - PERIOD.

Unanswered prayers

"He inquired of the Lord, but the Lord did not answer him by dreams or Urim or prophets.  Saul then said to his attendants, "Find me a woman who is a medium, so I may go and inquire of her..."
1 Samuel 28:6-7

When God doesn't answer our prayers right away most of us jump right into our flesh, and out of desperation and fear, we take it upon ourselves to find our answer, which usually ends us up in deeper trouble then when we started.  Therefore, we must remember that unanswered prayers are blessings in disguises.  For if we can wait it out, wait on the Lord, then we will find that our unanswered prayers will turn into blessed dreams come true...
dreams that will sweep us off our feet.

Inquire of God - he will answer

"... he inquired of the Lord... The Lord answered..."
1 Samuel 23:2

This is simple: ask God - he will answer.

Hence, make life easy on yourself  - Ask God!

Go!!

"Go," the Lord said to me, "and lead these people on their way, so that they may enter and possess the land that I swore to their fathers to give them."
Deuteronomy 10:11

Go! Move! Lead!  You've been called by God.   Therefore if want the best, blessed, and most glorious life possible, then answer his call... NOW!

Sin will catch up with you

”... and you may be sure that your sin will find you out.”
Numbers 32:23

Never think that you can get away with sin because no matter what, it will eventually sneak up on you and bite you in the fanny.

Sinning isn’t the answer - following God and his Word is the answer.  Therefore, do what is right the first time around.

Don’t be surprised where God calls you from

”...God called to him from within the bush...”
Exodus 3:4

Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, God is there.  So, don’t be surprised when and where he calls.  Just know that it is him, and answer his call.

Anything worthwhile in our lives

“I cannot do it, Joseph replied to Pharaoh, “but God will give Pharaoh the answer he deserves.”
Genesis 41:16

We cannot do anything worthwhile in our lives without God – period!!

Us, without God, equals fruitlessness; us, with God, equals fruitfulness.

So, seek God for everything and he will do for you all that you desire – and even better than you could ever think!!

Peace and tranquility

“… always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give a reason for the hope that you have.  But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.”
1 Peter 3:15-16

Being gentle and respectful in word and deed towards others equals a good night’s sleep.

Hence, treating others opposite of said above will rob you of all peace and tranquility.

We have all the access we need in Christ

"... we have access to everything God's Spirit is doing... Christ knows, and we have Christ's Spirit."
1 Corinthians 2:14-16 MSG

So, since we have Christ's Spirit, we know everything and anything we need to know, no matter what the subject, decision, choice, thought, reason, etc., is.  Now, you may wonder there is no way that we know.  Well, I beg to differ and today's verse proves my point: Since we have access to everything God's Spirit does, then any and all answers are found within. However, most of us need to dig deep enough, past our own darkened flesh, to find the answer - to seek the Light, but honestly, most of us aren't patient enough or want to work that hard to honestly know what the real answers are.

Friends, for an amazing life, we really need to dig past our own flesh, dig past the world's ways, and dig into the Spirit; there we will find the real answers, real directions, and real thoughts needed to make our lives the miracles that Jesus died for us to live.

Jesus always has your back!!

“For I know the law but still can’t keep it, and if the power of sin within me keeps sabotaging my best intentions, I obviously need help… I’ve tried everything and nothing helps… Is there no one that can do anything for me?... The answer, thank God, is that Jesus can and does.”
Romans 7:17-20, 24, 25 MSG

When you sin – run to Jesus!
When you doubt – run to Jesus!
When you are confused – run to Jesus!

WHEN YOU TRULY WANT TO LIVE – YES! RUN TO JESUS

Visions and answers from God

“… and I will watch to see what answer He will say within me and what answer I will make [as His mouthpiece]… Though it tarry, [I] wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day.” Adapted from Habakkuk 2:1,3 AMP

Ask God! Yes, ask Him for everything you need and/or want; choices you need to make, directions you want to go, or plans you should make for your future.  Yes, ask Him what He has put you here to do.  Then, be patient, be determined to hear, and remain faithful to Him in all things – your answer will come, and you will know, without a shadow of a doubt, it is His answer for you. Once He does answer your call, make sure to write it down, and put it in a safe spot; it will bring renewed joy, strength, and awe to you years down the road.  As well, it will keep you on the right path if you begin to tire out in the wait.

Friends, He has amazing feats for you to conquer, He has amazing feats for every one of us to conquer, BUT we have to be willing to wait, willing to listen, and willing to follow.  Although it be hard and tiresome at times, and we feel like we are getting nowhere, He’s working, and His timing will be more than perfect!

Is your door open to God?

Although you may be a long time believer in Christ, are you sure you haven't closed the door toward Him to come into certain areas of your life?  Think for a moment, what are you trying to do on your own because either you don't think God is doing it fast enough, or because you know it isn't the right thing to be doing?  Answer honestly.  Whatever it is, back off, open your arms wide, and allow the Spirit of Christ to come and take care of it; let the Spirit of Christ work through your life.  Until you do, your plans will never go as you'd like, nor will they ever be successful for any length of time.

My friend, answer the door and let God take of whatever it is you've been trying to take care of on your own.

Nothing but smoke

“Go ahead, cry for help to your collection of no-gods:
A good wind will blow them away.
They’re smoke, nothing but smoke.
‘But anyone who runs to me for help
will inherit the land,
will end up owning my holy mountain!” Isaiah 57:11-13

As believers, we never need to worry about our prayers not being answered.  God will always be, has always been, and is right here with us right now. One way or another, he will answer our prayers; more than likely, he’ll answer them in a way we never expect.

However, to those that don’t believe, honor or worship God, prayers will come to pass, but they will be short-lived, full of problems, and probably gone in the blink of an eye.  Your no-gods can’t answer prayers – they don’t exist.

Therefore, believe in, hope in, worship and fear God.  Otherwise, your prayers are just smoke – nothing but smoke.

Stop rejecting God's call

“God’s Message to his anointed…
I’ll go ahead of you,
clearing and paving the road.
I’ll break down bronze city gates,
smash padlocks, kick down barred entrances.
I’ll lead you to buried treasure,
secret caches of valuables –
Confirmations that it is, in fact, I, God,
The God of Israel, who calls you by name…
I’ve singled you out, called you by name
and given you this privileged work.”
Isaiah 45:1-7 MSG

This message is for you. Yes, you!
God is calling you.  Stop rejecting the call – ANSWER!
My friend, you don’t want to miss the great life he is trying to give you.

God always answers

Image result for God's answers come in many ways

"God always answers, one way or another, even when people don't recognize his presence." Job 33:14

You may feel that God is ignoring you - He's not.  He is with you every step of the way, and if you'll just hold on, you will soon realize that what is happening to you, is actually happening for you - for your blessing, for your good.Trust God, he know's what he is doing!

Leadership

Image result for leadership in christ
"David consulted... Then David addressed...". "David prayed to God... God answered..."

(1 Chronicles 13-14; 1 Chronicles 14:10)

David was one of the greatest God-fearing leaders in the bible, and we need more men and women like him.  So, why don't we follow suit and start seeking wise counsel before deciding human fate and praying to God before stepping out and trying to fight battles that probably don't need to be fought?  I think a lot less lives would be ruined and people would start standing together as one again.
