Live life the right way

”Do not defile the land where you live and where I dwell, for I, the Lord, dwell among the Israelites.”

Numbers 35:34

Where you are is where God is, therefore treat yourself, and act, as such.  For if you don’t you will separate yourself from God, which means, you will separate yourself from a full, blessed, prosperous, glorious, love-filled life.  

Sin will catch up with you

”... and you may be sure that your sin will find you out.”

Numbers 32:23

Never think that you can get away with sin because no matter what, it will eventually sneak up on you and bite you in the fanny.  

Sinning isn’t the answer - following God and his Word is the answer.  Therefore, do what is right the first time around.

Just do what you are told

”Moses told the Israelites all that the Lord commanded him.”

Numbers 29:40

If God tells you to do, or say something, just do it! It will keep you from wasting time back-pedaling later on.  Yes, my friends - just do it: be bold, be strong;  be who God made you be and fear not, fear no one, and do what God has put you on this earth to do.

Climb up the mountain before you

“Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go up this mountain in the Avarim range and see the land I have given the Israelites.”

Numbers 27:12

Don’t back down at the “mountains” in front of you!  Face them, climb them... yes, work your fanny off to conquer them - you can do it!  For when you get to the top of each one you will see the glory of God before you and you will attain the many amazing blessings that God has waiting for you. 

What God tells you to do: listen and do.

"Did I not tell tell the messengers you sent to me, "Even if Balak gave me his palace filled with silver and gold, I could not do anything of my own accord, good or bad, to go beyond the command of the Lord - and I must say only what the Lord says?"

Numbers 24:13

No matter how enticing the offer may be, no matter how desperately you long to have what is being given, if the Lord has told you not to accept, then you mustn't accept.  Yes, it seems so hard to say 'no' at the moment, but God has a plan - trust him!  

Therefore, with all might, courage, and confidence, say, 'no thank you', turn and walk away.

God has what is yours ready for you to take.

“The Lord said to Moses, “Do not be afraid of him, for I have handed him over to you, with his whole army and his land...”

Numbers 21:34

When you follow the path that God sets you out upon then there need be no fear - NONE.  For if God has set you out, then he has already gone before you and conquered all your enemies, which means, all you have to do is walk up to them and take what belongs to you.   So stop being nervous, stop being afraid; follow God, do what he tells you to do, and take what belongs to you.

Speak to the rock

"...Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water..."

Numbers 20:8

When the world says it is impossible, show them it isn't - show them God's glory by speaking, in the name of the Jesus, to the impossible - show them the glory of God right in front of their eyes.  

My friend, if you have real faith in Christ, you can change the world's negativity - one blessed miracle at a time.  

Move away from the wicked

”He warned the assembly, “Move back from the tents of these wicked men! Do not touch anything belonging to them, or you will be swept away because of their sins.”

Numbers 16: 26

Stay away from those that don’t listen to the Lord, otherwise you might find yourselves going under, finding yourself too far gone to come back up for air.

Oh how mighty God’s glory is!

“If the Lord is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us...the Lord is with us.  Do not be afraid of them.

...Then the glory of the Lord appeared...”

Numbers 14:8-10

When you trust in, believe in, listen to, and let God lead the way, his glory will shine ever-so-brightly in your life - leading you from glory to glory to glory.

God comes down to us

”I will come down and speak with you there...”

Numbers 11:17

God doesn’t make us come up to his level, he comes down to ours - face to face - so that we can understand, follow, trust, and see him in all his glory and all his splendor.  Therefore, do not fear that God is too far above you to be able to talk to him - that is not his character.  He made each of us unique and individualized as they come, and since he made each of us unique and individualized, he comes to each and every one of us as such so that every single one of us can understand him, see him, revel in him, and live in his glory.  

Friends, God is not someone beyond our reach.  No!  He is right here with each and everyone one of us, engaging with us and loving us.  Therefore, talk to him, seek him, and trust him.  For when you do, you will find him, in all his love and splendor, standing face to face with you, arms open wide to hold you and carry you on your way to all glory.

To go or stay?

“At the Lord’s command they encamped, and at the Lord’s command they set out...”

Numbers 9:23

Plain and simple:  

If God doesn’t tell you to go, then don’t go.  If God doesn’t tell you to stay, then don’t stay.

Numbers 13:27-33

²⁷ They gave Moses this account: “We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit. ²⁸ But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large.”

³⁰ Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.”

³¹ But the men who had gone up with him said, “We can’t attack those people; they are stronger than we are.” ³² And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, “The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size. ³³ We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.”

Panic and back down.

Cower.

God people: 

Go for it!!
