Sin will catch up with you

”... and you may be sure that your sin will find you out.”

Never think that you can get away with sin because no matter what, it will eventually sneak up on you and bite you in the fanny.  

Sinning isn’t the answer - following God and his Word is the answer.  Therefore, do what is right the first time around.

Get away from the disfunction and manipulation

"...For the Lord brought you out of Egypt with his mighty hand."

Exodus 13:9

This life is too short to live by someone else's rules, regulations and manipulations (not physically, not mentally; nor from God).  If someone is trying to control you, passively or aggressively, then some changes have to be made.  Yes, it will be the scariest steps you've ever taken, the rockiest mountain you've ever climbed, but if you know that God has a life that you don't want to live without, then boldness and courage need to be embraced and the step of a lifetime needs to be taken. So, step out and step out now! You can do it - yes, you can!!

Remember, darkness comes from Satan, but light comes from God and you are a child of God.  So step out, step up, take hold of God, and take a chance on life - He's got one heck of a great one for you to live.

Stay within limits

“Since you died with Christ to the basic principles of the world, why… do you submit to its rules: Do not handle… taste… touch?  These are all destined to perish with use because they are based on human commands and teachings…”

Stay within the limits of the Word of God and the Word of God alone.  Anything outside of it, anything added to it, or anything made up in regards to it, is simply a waste of your time and of your precious life.

With God, there are no rules

"... There's no rule that says God can only deliver by using a big army.  No one can stop God from saving when he sets his mind to it."  

1 Samuel 14:6 MSG

With God in our lives, there are no rules when it involves as to how He saves and blesses us.  There is only him - the only Rule   - and he is the one and only rule necessary to follow in order to be saved and set free!

Laws, leaders, rules, and regulations.

"Jesus said to them, Pay to Caesar the things that are Caesar's and to God the things that are God's..." Mark 12:17 AMP

No matter how much you are against paying taxes, following the orders, rules, and regulations of those in charge, they are the laws made by the leaders of this land.  You are not above the law, nor are you in charge of the leaders.  So, let me ask, if you aren't respecting the laws of land, then how in the world are you respecting God?  You probably aren't.  As a matter of fact, there is a good chance you are selfish, full of ungodly pride, and you feel like you are owed more than the next.  OK, maybe you are owed, but that needs to be put in God's hands - He will see to your payback.  Until then, you are not exempt, you never will be, and no matter how your excuses, words, and actions line up in your favor, in the end, the law still wins.  

My friend, your ungodly pride is only dragging you into a deep pit; let it go, give it to God, and let His amazing glory and blessings come and fill you from within.  And, remember, you will be paid back, BUT the payback will come from God, not from your works, words or actions, unless, of course, He calls you to take a stand.  Therefore, stop waste your time trying, and move on and enjoy all the days of your precious life.

Rules and purposes.

“… God’s purposes are worked out in the confrontation and revelation, in judgment, and salvation, but they are worked out.  God’s rule is not imposed in the sense that forces each man and woman into absolute conformity to justice and truth and righteousness.  The rule is worked out from within, much of the time invisible and unnoticed, but always patiently and resolutely there…” (Quoted from The Message, by Eugene H Patterson, pg. 480)

God’s rules and purposes are worked out in all different areas of our lives.  So, discard nothing that happens in your life as unimportant.  Instead, embrace everything, knowing that, however far-fetched it may seem, God is working!

Choose life!
