He opens our eyes to see

"...Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, who has allowed my eyes to see..."

1 Kings 1:48

Ask God to open your eyes; ask God to truly make you see.  For when you see through His eyes, you will truly see... you will truly see and experience miracles, blessings, and beauty that the human eye will never see.

God carries us on his wings

"... I carried you on eagles wings and brought you to myself."

Exodus 19:4

You are where you are for a purpose.  You are where you are because God has carried you there for a reason.  Therefore, look up, close your human eyes, open the eyes of your heart and let God lead. Let God carry you wherever he chooses - you won’t be disappointed.

My friend, your life means something, all you have to do is let God carry you through it so you can find out what that 'something' is.

Stay within limits

“Since you died with Christ to the basic principles of the world, why… do you submit to its rules: Do not handle… taste… touch?  These are all destined to perish with use because they are based on human commands and teachings…”

-Colossians 2:20-22 MSG

Stay within the limits of the Word of God and the Word of God alone.  Anything outside of it, anything added to it, or anything made up in regards to it, is simply a waste of your time and of your precious life.

You are good, right, and whole when you are a believer in Jesus

"...But everyone who believes in this raised-up Jesus is declared good and right and whole before God." 

~ Acts 13:36-39 MSG

What the world says about you, what you think about yourself, what the, so-called- professionals have labeled you as, what you have done in the past, and what you will do in the future, etc., are all things that come from the outside.  Those words mean nothing - they are merely descriptions of what is happening, has happened, or may happen, in your life.  You are Christ's sweet child dealing with life struggles, tribulations, hang-ups, and heartaches - you are not broken!  Just the opposite!  As a believer you are exactly what the Word says.

You are GOOD, RIGHT, AND WHOLE.
 
Therefore, embrace what the world claims to be your flaws, for in God's eyes they are perfect; he knows you are human, and he's just walking you through life, allowing you to fall and allowing you to grow.  And, when all is said and done, your life will be a shining example and legacy to the world in which you lived.

God is with you

“… they even hired Balaam to work against them by cursing them, but our God turned the curse into a blessing…” 

Nehemiah 13:1-3, MSG

With God before you no one can stand against you: with God on yours side, no worldly human can ruin God’s good plan for you.  

Don’t give up, God is with you.

Missing out.

"... Steep yourself in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions.  You'll find your everyday human concerns will be met.  Don't be afraid of missing out.  You're my dearest friends!  The Father wants to  give you the very kingdom itself."  Luke 12:29-32. MSG

When our lives revolve around Christ, we never miss out on anything in this life.  Actually, quite the opposite.  When our lives revolve around Christ, the only things we miss out on are the things that God knows won't be good for us.  

So, look at this way: if we don't have it, it is probably because He is protecting us from harm, and he has something much, much better for us anyway.

But God's already made it plain how to live...

"But he's already made it plain how to live, what to do, what God is looking for in men and women. It's quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor, be compassionate and loyal in your love, And don't take yourself too seriously - take God seriously." Micah 6:8 MSG

God makes it pretty simple on how we should live, so why do we, in the flesh, make it so hard sometimes?  Well, we are human, and we are far from perfect, and, at least those of us that really are working on pleasing God are getting more and more perfected everyday, so we are on the right path.  As well  thank goodness we have a savior, Jesus Christ, to perfect himself through our flaws and weaknesses!

So, although we are far from perfect, let's keep on striving to win the race in front of us - God's race. And, (my favorite part of this whole verse today), let's not take ourselves too seriously, for we are human and we really don't have a clue most of the time. Instead, let's take God seriously, I think we'll be a lot better off in our present and future if we do😁!

Even at our worst...

"And so I'm not going to act on my anger...

And why?  Because I am God and not human.

Yes, we've all fallen short and have had some rough times because of our sins and transgressions.  And, yes, God is not pleased with us in those times.  However, God loves us unconditionally, and if we turn to him, (even at our worst), confess our sins, and genuinely seek forgiveness and change, then will stay true to His Word:  He will forgive us, love us into wholeness, and turn our sins into stepping stones of greatness!  Therefore, don't be ashamed to turn to God no matter what you've done.  He is faithful, He will forgive you; you will be changed into His glory and you are loved beyond belief.

God's friend

God's touch gives strength: Take time everyday to feel it; to be empowered from it. 

God calls us friend: Revel in that and never forget the friend you have on your side.

Stay courageous and strong:  God is with you - take time to notice with the eyes of your heart! 

Have nothing to fear!  God is your protector!

God has no limits

"I see the limits to everything human,

     but the horizons can't contain your commands!"

Psalm 119:96

Worship God with your whole being and pray big, bold prayers, for although you are limited in the flesh, God has no limits - and, when God is for you no one will be able to put boundaries on what you can accomplish.

Human help vs. God's help

"... You were foolish to go for human help when you could have had God's help.  Now you're in trouble - one round of war after another." +2 Chronicles 16:7-9, +MSG

When you forego God in your endeavors and prayer requests, you forego victory in your endeavors and prayer requests.

Who do you think made you?

God said, “And who do you think made the human mouth? And who makes some mute, some deaf, some sighted, some blind?  Isn’t it I, God?  So, get going, I’ll be right there with you – with your mouth!  I’ll be right there to teach you what to say.” Exodus 4:11-12

God made you in perfection!  God made you exactly as you are for a reason.  With God, you have no handicap, you have no flaws, you are not a minority, and you have no imperfections.  So, set out and do what your heart (God) is leading you to do.  Like the passage says, God will be right there with you, teaching you, speaking through you, and giving you the anointing to do what the world says is impossible for you to do.

 

God created you.

“God created human beings: he created them godlike, perfecting God’s nature.  He created them male and female.  God blessed them: “Prosper! Reproduce! Fill the Earth! Take charge!...” 1 Genesis, The Message, pg 21

God created you!  God created you in His nature; you are a reflection of God.  Therefore, stop wasting away this precious life of yours!  Stand tall and live with the character and authority God has given you: Prosper, reproduce, fill the Earth, take charge!

 

Our personal representative

“For Christ (The Messiah) has not entered into a sanctuary made with [human] hands… but [He has entered] into heaven itself, now to appear in the [very] presence of God on our behalf.” Hebrews 9:24 AMPC

We have a friend on our side at all times, His name is Jesus – our personal representative and life-line to God.  

My goodness... Jesus loves us so much!!

Perfection is God, not human!

"And He did not need anyone to bear witness concerning man [needed no evidence from anyone about men], for He Himself knew what was in human nature.  [He could read men's hearts.] John 2:25 AMP

God knows us, and He knows that we are not perfect, which means we can stop trying so darn hard to be.  Perfection is God, not human, and as humans, we will always fall short.  Some of us, myself included, practically kill ourselves trying to be perfect, and all we are doing is using precious energy, frustrating our lives, and overwhelming our hearts - essentially, wasting precious time. All God  wants from us is our undying love and faith in Him and to give Him our imperfect selves; and, in turn, He will turn us more and more into His perfect likeness.  

So, trust in God to perfect you; do the best you can in all situations, and cut yourself some slack when you fall short.  Life is too short, God loves you too much, and there is nothing you can do that is going to allow you to be the perfect human.  As a matter of fact, be honored when you fall short, because if your faith is true, and you hand your imperfection over to Him, you can be witness to some amazing miracles that will soon come to pass in your life ... and, boy-oh-boy, His miracles are not something we ever want to miss!!

Only God knows what is good for you

“For who [limited to human wisdom] knows what is good for man in his life…” Ecclesiastes 6:12

We (man) do not know what is good for us, that is why we have Jesus, and why we must have faith – strong faith.  Steps of faith are the only way to find out what is good for us!!  If there is something pressing on your heart, step UP – step IN – FIND out!  Yes, it will be uncomfortable, scary, intimidating, and overwhelming, but with one foot in front of the other, you can do it – God is holding you every step of the way and no matter what the turnout, I guarantee that you will be more knowledgeable, more blessed, more confident, and more faithful than you were ever before.

So, take those big steps of faith and know that whatever the end result, you did it – and for that you can be very proud of yourself!!
