Face the battle

"David left his things with the keeper of supplies, ran to the battle lines..."

Although the battles before you seem enormous, overwhelming, and impossible, run to them!  Yes, like David run right up to the battles before you, taking Jesus with you - for the closer you get to them with Jesus by your side, the quicker they tremble in fear and crumble to pieces.  

Put the dead-life behind you

Leave everything that doesn’t produce fruit in your life, (or everything that doesn’t produce life in your life), and follow Jesus - leave everything and follow your heart. Hence, leave the bad and follow the good – follow Jesus.

Stop looking at the what-if’s and look at the Will-Do instead.  Go for it and don’t look back.

Nothing to fear

When you are following Jesus and taking steps to follow the promptings he places on your heart, then no matter how big the storm, you can stay in peace knowing that there is nothing to fear, he has your back and he will not fail you - not now, not ever!!

Set your mind on Jesus

“Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Christ Jesus is revealed… do not conform to evil desires… be holy in all you do…” 1 Peter 1:13-16

Set your mind on Christ, so that nothing from the world, or from Satan, can ever set you back.

All you need to live is Jesus!!

Let's stop worrying about what everyone else is doing

“… This “insider world” is not our home. We have our eyes peeled for the City about to come. Let’s take our place outside with Jesus, no longer pouring out the sacrificial blood of animals but pouring out sacrificial praises from our lips to God in Jesus’ name.”

Since the world isn’t spending eternity doing what we are doing, wondering what we are doing, or wanting to do what we are doing, then we truly need to stop doing the same - trying so hard to fit in and pretending to be people we were not meant to be.  Friends, Jesus made us who we are and that’s that – period!

Therefore, spend your precious time worrying about eternity with Christ: be yourself fully and honestly, taking  your priceless time living the pleasant and enjoyable life God has graciously given you.

Sink or swim...

"...So Peter got out of the boat and walked on water and he came toward Jesus. But when he perceived and felt the strong wind, he was frightened, and as he began to sink..." Matthew 14:29-30 AMP

Faith in Christ, (remaining fearless in spite of the storms of life), will cause you to walk on water in the middle of the ocean.  

Doubt in Christ, (becoming fearful during the storms of life), will cause you to sink the moment you step out of the boat.

The choice is yours: faith or doubt, swim or sink?  
Hence, live or die?

Out of the darkness

 

“He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death and broke apart the bonds that held them.” Psalm 107:14

Please don’t let this world bring you down!  Know that there is a way out of darkness, fear, distress, temptation, burden, sin, and death – His name is Jesus – and when you call on Him, my oh my, you’ve got an ally that won’t ever stop fighting with, and for, you!

Forget yourself and look to Jesus

When you live for self, you'll always be lost.  However, when you live for Jesus, not only will your life be full of LIFE and contentment, your life will shine with the light of Jesus and you will find everything you need to live a full and joyful, loving and peace-filled, life!  God bless you!

Risk the faith

Risk having faith in Jesus.

Whether mental, emotional, or physical...

God's Word is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow! Jesus will heal whatever ails us.  However, and this is key, we must be the ones to go to Jesus through prayer, petition, and thanksgiving, and make all our requests know unto him (Phil. 6-7).  We cannot sit idly, (meekly), by and just hope that he notices us.  

My friend, Jesus notices every single one of us - he notices every hair on our head.  However, until we stand up (inside and out) in boldness and belief and prayer in Him, we will not receive his healing - his promises. 

So, stand - inside and out!  Call out to Jesus and through prayer tell him your ailments.  And through faith, believe that you are healed.   The moment you do - and this is a promise - your healing will begin.

Right now!  Rid, repent, release, and remove the anger, sin, hurt, resentment, hate – weeds – from your mind, body, and soul.  Give them all to God, let them go.  Exhale - let it all go:  Inhale – breath God in, let him fill you.  Let the light of who he is shine within, and upon, you.  Let the flowers bloom and the weeds wilt away. It is time for you to flourish, it is time for you to shine and bear fruit; it is time to live like Jesus died for you to live.

In other words:  God gave us His one and only son, Jesus, to die on the cross for us just so we could live.  Therefore, in thankfulness, love, honor, and humility, we need to do our best to be holy - wholesome, loving, honorable, faithful, joy-filled, and peace-filled Christians.

Reverence for God.

"In the days of His flesh [Jesus] offered up definite, special petitions [for that which He not only wanted but needed]... and He was heard because of His reverence toward God [His godly fear, His piety, in that He shrank from the horrors of separation from the bright presence of the Father]." Hebrews 5:7 AMPC

When your revere God over and above all else, your prayers get heard - your prayers get answered.  Therefore, spend extra special time with God and let Him know how much you love Him just because He is Who He is, and when your time of want and/or need comes about, He'll hear you and He'll come running to your aid.

We are all equal in Christ.

"And He made no difference between us and them, but cleansed their hearts by faith (by a strong and welcome conviction that Jesus is the Messiah, through Whom we obtain eternal salvation in the kingdom of God)." Acts 15:9 AMP

POINT TO REMEMBER:  You are no better than another, and another is no better than you.  Therefore, stop comparing, judging, condemning, gossiping, complaining, and belittling ~ we are all one in Christ.
