Where is God?

We've been set free... free indeed!

“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”

-1 Peter 2:24

Jesus bore our hurts, habits, and hang-ups, so that we may be healed ~ Jesus bore our sins and transgressions so that we could be set free. 

WE ARE free!!  Free indeed!!

Be holy because God is holy.

In other words:  God gave us His one and only son, Jesus, to die on the cross for us just so we could live.  Therefore, in thankfulness, love, honor, and humility, we need to do our best to be holy - wholesome, loving, honorable, faithful, joy-filled, and peace-filled Christians.

It is finished.

“… It is finished! And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.” John 19:30 AMP

The moment Jesus died on the cross:

Sin was conquered; anguish defeated; depression lifted; anger crushed; helplessness abolished and hopelessness not found.

Yes, the moment Jesus bowed His head and gave His last breath:

Love restored; joy flourished; peace abounded; grace overflowed; and life was born.

 

To the last and to the highest

"... And as He had loves those who were His own in the world, He loved them to the last and to the highest degree." John 13:1 AMP

God loves you!  Yes, you!!  You are special, your life was bought at a price, you were hand picked, and you have been blessed to do mighty things - you are His chosen child.  So, don't let this world drag you down any longer.  Move forward to the dreams that are embedded in your heart; do what you can do, and let God put the blessing and favor over your life to do what you think you cannot do.  He will, He wants to!  No, more self-pity!  It is time for change, it is time to live, it is time to love - IT IS TIME FOR GOD!  Accept Him, and begin to live the great life that He died just for you.
