Burdens no more

“Cast your burden on the LORD [release it] and He will sustain and uphold you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken (slip, fall, fail).”
‭‭PSALM‬ ‭55:22‬ ‭AMP‬‬
http://bible.com/1588/psa.55.22.amp

Burdens are not supposed to be ours; burdens are not from God, they are the devil’s way of tormenting us. Therefore, get rid of them by casting them all on God.  He will take them away and he will deal with Satan.  It’s all going to be ok!!

So, put your trust in God and begin to focus only on the bright parts of your life while letting God do what he does best:
HE TAKES CARE OF EVERYTHING.

TRUST AND KEEP TRUSTING GOD

“The person in right standing before God by trusting him really lives. “  Romans 1:16-17 MSG

TRUST AND KEEP TRUSTING GOD

My friend, God’s Word never, ever, fails!! Trust in God and truly, trulytruly, live!! Trust in God and be fearless, full of love, full of joy, full of peace – hence, full of Jesus Christ himself.

Yes, trust in, and keep trusting in God and God alone; become enslaved by God and be freed from Satan: darkness, death, fear, burden, destruction, and death.

OH, PRAISE GOD.  HE IS SO GOOD

Yes, it will come to pass!

“For it will come to pass in that day… that I will break [the oppressor’s] yoke from your neck, and I will burst your bonds… and none will make [you] afraid or cause [you] to be terrorized and to tremble.”
Adapted from Jeremiah 30:8-10 AMP

When you give your heart to God, and dedicate your life as a living sacrifice to Him, life immediately changes: Evil trembles at you name; enemies lie down in front of you; those; strongholds are broken; fear does not control you any longer; ill-spoken words are cast down; Light begins to shine in, and around, you; healing physically and mentally, begins; hopes and dreams come alive; and, God’s love becomes your love.

Praise God!
He loves us so much.
How amazing a life with Him and how blessed we are to be called His children.

Out of the darkness

“He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death and broke apart the bonds that held them.” Psalm 107:14

Please don’t let this world bring you down!  Know that there is a way out of darkness, fear, distress, temptation, burden, sin, and death – His name is Jesus – and when you call on Him, my oh my, you’ve got an ally that won’t ever stop fighting with, and for, you!

Get away with Jesus and you'll recover your life

Jesus resumed talking to the people... "Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion?  Come to me.  Get away with me and you'll recover your life.  I'll show you how to take a real test.  Walk with me and work with me - watch how I do it.  Learn the unforced rhythms of grace.  I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you.  Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly." Matthew 11:27-30 MSG

Enough is enough!  It is time to learn to live like Jesus and stop fretting over the world.  Life is too short and too precious to waste.  So, undress your current life, throw it in the trash, and put on the spirit of Jesus.  Not only will you shine with beauty, grace, confidence, love and joy, but you will be a living example of real living, real life, real love, real joy; you will be the living example of Jesus Christ himself.

But God's already made it plain how to live...

"But he's already made it plain how to live, what to do, what God is looking for in men and women. It's quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor, be compassionate and loyal in your love, And don't take yourself too seriously - take God seriously." Micah 6:8 MSG

God makes it pretty simple on how we should live, so why do we, in the flesh, make it so hard sometimes?  Well, we are human, and we are far from perfect, and, at least those of us that really are working on pleasing God are getting more and more perfected everyday, so we are on the right path.  As well  thank goodness we have a savior, Jesus Christ, to perfect himself through our flaws and weaknesses!
So, although we are far from perfect, let's keep on striving to win the race in front of us - God's race. And, (my favorite part of this whole verse today), let's not take ourselves too seriously, for we are human and we really don't have a clue most of the time. Instead, let's take God seriously, I think we'll be a lot better off in our present and future if we do😁!

God will not fail you

“Oh look!  God’s right here helping!
God’s on my side…”
Psalm 54:4

“Pile your troubles on God’s shoulders-
He’ll carry your load, he’ll help you out.
He’ll never let good people
Topple into ruin.”
Psalm 55:22-23

Look with your heart; look with your God-eyes, God is with you.  He is waiting for you to put the weight of your world onto his shoulders and give you relief from worry, burden, and fear.  So, take a moment and give it all – A.L.L – to God.  He is waiting to help you – just ask - he will not let you down.

When God is with you

“… If God goes with me, I will drive them out, just as God said.” Joshua 14:6-12, The MSG

With God before you, who can stand against you? (Romans 8:31).  Not one!  No man, woman, beast, burden, mountain, or challenge, can come against you with God on your side.  So, stand tall, hold tight to our amazing God, and move forward – you can do it – God is with you!

You won't have to do it alone

“… I’ll take some of the spirit that is on you and place it on them; they’ll then be able to take some of the load of this people – you won’t have to carry the whole thing alone.”  Numbers 11:16-17, The Message

When life is weighing you down with obligation and burden, cry out to God – He will send you the people and/or resources you need to help you carry the load.

Burden or blessing

"But the burden of the Lord you must mention no more, for every man's burden is his own response and word..." Jeremiah 23:36 AMP

Although I may be a bit off at recognizing the true meaning of the verse, I do believe that a great way to interpret is, "Most of our burdens are self-induced and self-inflicted because of the way we speak about our circumstances, and our irresponsible actions.". Well, I think that it's time to make some changes.  You?

Maybe we should face our burdens, stop putting all of our focus on them, and begin to put the focus on God; with Him we will gain a strong footing, and a new perspective, and better choice of words, which will help make decisions as to what steps to take next.  As well, He'll help us look at our burdens with new eyes, and we will see that there is, somehow, a blessing in disguise beginning to take place.

So, when faced with a burden that seems overwhelming, stop and ask God if it is truly a burden or a blessing in disguise; I guarantee He'll provide a glimpse, and a way, to a blessed ending, guaranteed to make the agony of the what was once thought of as a burden, a blessing that is worth every ounce of pain to obtain it.

Jesus came…

“To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn… to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit – that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong…], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”  Isaiah 61:3 (AMP)

Jesus came for you!  He died for you! He rose up to be an intercessor for YOU!  Yes, Jesus absolutely loves, loves, loves, and (did I mention?) loves you!!!  So, let Him heal you; give you beauty instead of ashes, joy instead of mourning, and praise instead of a failing and sullen spirit ~ LET HIM LOVE YOU!

My friends, Jesus is so good, and He wants to share His goodness with you.  So, surrender to Him today, and let a light begin to shine in your life that never-ever goes dark, never-ever fades, and always-always shines in the directions in which you should go.

Are you weary?

“… when he wearies himself [worshiping] on the high place [of idolatry]…” Isaiah 16:12

Focus on the word, “wearies”, in this verse for a moment… What is happening in your life that is wearing you out; what is happening in your life that you are worrying about; what is happening in your life that you are about to lose your salvation over?

Now, focus on the word, “idolatry”, for a moment… Is your weariness, worry, and loss of salvation because you are focusing on someone or something other than God? Have you put God in second place in some area of your life?

If you do find that your weary, worry, and the like, are because of some form of idolatry, then it is time to take a step back, repent and begin to put the focus back in God. The moment you do this, your heaviness will begin to lift, a new light will begin to shine, and you’ll have a little more pep in your step.

Friends, idolatry leads into a downward spiral, but faith and hope in God lead to ease, joy, new-found energy, and contentment; but above all, you will attain a peace that goes beyond understanding.

Iniquity and sin go hand in hand

Iniquity and sin lead to a dead end road

“For my iniquities have gone over my head; like a heavy burden, they are too heavy for me.”  Psalm 38:4

Iniquity and sin go hand in hand.  Just like I posted yesterday, sin is horrid; hence, iniquity is just as bad.  Get away from it as fast as you can!  I know I am!
