Choose not to conform

"But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, [and]  God gave [Daniel] knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds."

When we choose to conform to God and not to man, God conforms us into miraculous beings - beings that defy the laws of human nature and science.

The wise will stumble...

"Some of the wise will stumble so that they may be refined, purified, and made spotless until the time of the end, for it will still come at the appointed time."

When we seem to always stumble and fall short of the God's glory it only means that we are being beautified, edified, quantified, and justified, by His great might and power.  

So embrace the stumbles, for you are being purified and made spotless, my friend!  Yes, you are God's glory!

No corruption within

"... Now Daniel so distinguished himself among the administrators and the satraps by his exceptional qualities that the king planned to set him over the whole kingdom.  At this, the administrators and satraps tried to find grounds for charges against Daniel, but they were unable to do so.  They could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent."

Wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning

 "He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.”

-Daniel 2:21 NIV

Those who seek God’s wisdom through prayer and his Word will find it. and those who truly dedicate themselves to knowing him, will!

God gives us what we need

“To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning...”

- Daniel 1:17

God gives us what we need to grow and succeed without cost, bribe, or hear-say.

However, the world gives us what it gets paid to give us - there is always a fee for us when all is said and done.  Hence, make sure you want to pay that fee before you dive in to what the world claims to be able to give you.

Stay fearless! Keep believing in God!

"...Your threat means nothing to us. If you throw us in the fire, the God we serve can rescue us from your roaring furnace and anything else you might cook up, O king. But even if he doesn’t, it wouldn’t make a bit of difference, O king. We still wouldn’t serve your gods or worship the gold statue you set up.”

Fear not of any words, threats, or deeds that come to you by man.  Instead, fully place your trust in God: stay fearless, keep believing, and know that God is your redeemer and protector.

Follow the commands of God - He is trying to bless you!

"... for the Lord our God is [uncompromisingly] righteous and rigidly just in all His works which He does [keeping His word]..." Daniel 9:14

No matter if you heed the promptings, words, commands and/or directions, of God, He will always do what He says He is going to do.  Ignoring any of His promptings, words, commands and/or directions, simply make your life more complicated, sometimes to the point of hitting rock-bottom. 

Therefore, be on board with God in all things, and in all your ways, because He lives through, in, and around you, to bless you, not harm you.  My friend, God wants to give you, and bless you with, the best life possible here on Earth.  He is not to be ignored - He is only trying to protect you - LET HIM!  

So, listen to and follow God in all your ways, in everything you do, and the fulfillment of life in abundance will be yours to LIVE!!

Go about your business without fret or worry

“And you? Go about your business without fretting or worrying.  Relax.  When it’s all over, you will be on your feet to receive your reward.” Daniel 12:13 AMP

When there is chaos everywhere around you, and times of testing happening within you, take time to reflect on this verse.  What God said to Daniel, is exactly what He is saying to you: let fret and worry go by the wayside, and know that as God’s fearfully and wonderfully made child, your reward is coming.

God's friend

"Then this human like figure touched me again and gave me strength.  He said, 'Don't be afraid, friend.  Peace.  Everything is going to be alright. Take courage.  Be strong."  Daniel 10:18-19 MSG

God's touch gives strength: Take time everyday to feel it; to be empowered from it. 

God calls us friend: Revel in that and never forget the friend you have on your side.

Stay courageous and strong:  God is with you - take time to notice with the eyes of your heart! 

Have nothing to fear!  God is your protector!

Who is God?

No enemy can stand against you when you trust God

When you trust God you can rest assure that evil stands not a chance against you.   God has it handled; it is for His glory that you be victorious.

Therefore, no matter what you do in the light or dark - God knows; questions that you cannot figure out on your own - God can; and, what is impossible for any man is always, always, possible for God! 

Stay in faith, always seek God, and know that you know that you know - God will always come through for you.

Be a light for God

“… and those who turn many to righteousness (to uprightness and right standing with God) [shall give forth light] like the stars forever and ever.” Daniel 12:3 AMP

Live your life in a way that when others look at you, they see, feel, or sense a difference about you; a light about you, a warmth about you!! Yes, open your heart and life to God, and let Him take over.  Let Him take your life and turn it into a shining light for the world to see.

Gosh, our world is so filled with darkness and fear!  So, be different! Be God’s loving child and help change someone’s life today.

 

Do not Fear! God's got your back!

"...one in the likeness of the sons of men touched my lips.  Then I opened my mouth and spoke... Then there touched me again one whose appearance was like that of a man, and he strengthened me.... 

Fear not!..."

When you can't speak, God will speak through you! When you are weak, God will strengthen you!  Therefore, fear not in this world - God is with you, He is for you, and through Him, you can do all things that He has set out for you to do!

DO NOT FEAR - GOD'S GOT YOUR BACK!!

All-powerful

“But the judgment shall be set [by the court of the Most High], and they shall take away [Satan’s] dominion... ” Daniel 7:26

Satan has no power over God’s children and God’s world.  I know, it does seem like it at times, but fear not, he doesn’t stand a chance.  However, we must be diligent about resisting him before he attacks by keeping God first and foremost in our lives so he cannot wear us down.  Therefore, spend daily time with God, pray throughout the day, be accountable to your sins, and resist all temptation at the onset!

The fact is, while we are here on Earth, we will never be freed of the attacks of Satan, but remember, we have Christ with us, and that gives us more power than Satan can ever stand up against.  God is all-powerful, and His power is alive in us!  So, use God’s power in all things, and in all ways, and then you can be confident that you’ll make Satan think twice before he even thinks of messing with you.

Be excellent

“Then this Daniel was distinguished above the presidents… because an excellent spirit was in him… because he believed in (relied on, adhered to, and trusted in) his God.” Daniel 6: 3, 23

Deliverance, promotion, prosperity, gain, favor, blessings, and grace, all come from God.  Therefore, be excellent, honorable, and faithful in all of your works, every day, all day, and forevermore.  I know it may not seem like anyone notices, but God notices, and He will prosper you continually when you stay true to Him by being a shining representative of who He is to the world around you.

 

Sheer humility

“But when his heart was lifted up and his mind and spirit were hardened so that he dealt proudly, he was deposed from his kingly throne and his glory was taken from him.” Daniel 5:20 AMP

Always remember the Why you are where you are; the Who, who got you to where you are; and the How, as in the how you do what you do so well, (your gifts and talents).  God is the one who pours blessings upon you, opens doors of opportunities for you, fills your bank accounts with money, gives you homes that seem like mansions to some, and surrounds people around you who love, adore, and accept you; you, in yourself, have no part of it.

Therefore, always make sure to give the credit where the credit is due – God, and God alone.  If you fail to do so, you may find yourself beginning to take the glory for God’s good works in your life, making it easy for your gloating to become prideful and haughty - and if that happens, then God will remind you, my friend, and sheer humility will be yours to deal with accordingly.

 

Making wrongs right.

“… liberate yourself from your iniquities by showing mercy and loving-kindness to the poor and oppressed…” Daniel 4:27 AMP

One way to make wrongs right is to the help the poor, the oppressed, and the needy.  Not just financially, but with kindness, compassion, love, helpful and uplifting words, and resources you that you have more than enough of.  I believe that the more we give to those in need, then the more the Lord showers blessings of love, grace, mercy, abundance, and peace upon us, which in turn, enables us to help even more of the needy, oppressed, and broken people of this world; which, sadly, has become way too much of the norm.

Help others and be liberated, in the blessed name of sweet Jesus!
