God's words and commands

Some ‘do nots’ to take heed to.

“Do not spread false reports... Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong...do not show favoritism... do not deny justice to the poor... do not accept a bribe...”

Exodus 23:1-8

These ‘do nots’ will not only keep you out of trouble, they will keep you from the likes of Satan.

God wants to keep you from sin

“... Do not be afraid.  God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.” 

Exodus 20:20

When in the midst of life’s fiery trials, fears, decisions, and torments, remember: God is with you!  Therefore, prove to him that you are faithful by staying away from sin and doing what he is telling you to do.  

So step out of the loud noises of the world and hear God, otherwise, you will keep God drowned out and the blessings of life he is leading you to will be washed away by this crazy world in which we live.

Promotion is yours when you have Christ on your side.  

See for yourself - the proof is written in His word:

Watch your step.

We must renew our minds with God’s light, continually, otherwise the devil can quickly take hold and turn our lives upside down – we cannot let this happen! Therefore, stay focused on God and His Word – never let Him out of your mind, sight, and heart…

VERSE MEANING - INTERPRETATION

Follow the commands of God - He is trying to bless you!

"... for the Lord our God is [uncompromisingly] righteous and rigidly just in all His works which He does [keeping His word]..." Daniel 9:14

No matter if you heed the promptings, words, commands and/or directions, of God, He will always do what He says He is going to do.  Ignoring any of His promptings, words, commands and/or directions, simply make your life more complicated, sometimes to the point of hitting rock-bottom. 

Therefore, be on board with God in all things, and in all your ways, because He lives through, in, and around you, to bless you, not harm you.  My friend, God wants to give you, and bless you with, the best life possible here on Earth.  He is not to be ignored - He is only trying to protect you - LET HIM!  

So, listen to and follow God in all your ways, in everything you do, and the fulfillment of life in abundance will be yours to LIVE!!

Unspoken words

“But Mary was keeping within herself all these things (sayings), weighing and pondering them in her heart.” Luke 2:19 AMP

Hence, some things are better left unspoken until a later time.

 

Ask BIG

“… but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive, so that you joy (gladness, delight) may be full and complete.” John 16:24

I believe that this verse isn’t telling us to ask for one thing over and over, and then if it is granted us, we stop asking.  No, I believe this verse wants us to ask Him for all of our wants and dreams, all of the secret desires of our heart, no matter how many we have, no matter how impossible they may seem.  Some may not be granted quickly, but they will be granted in God’s time, and in God’s way -  not a moment too soon, not a moment too late.

So, believe BIG, and ask BIG.  God is a BIG God, and He grants BIG wishes.  He wants your love, devotion, and friendship.  As well, He wants you to be blessed.  Remember, God can, and will, do the impossible, but until you ask, you may never be able to experience it!

WOW - all this and all we have to do is be the kind of people that God wants us to be: loving, kind, honest, peaceful, hard-working, loyal, able, selfless, humble, giving, and devoted to Him.  My goodness, God is easy - we, the people, have really gone and made this life almost impossible.  Why?  Well, whatever our reasons, change begins with you and me.  So, one person at a time: it's time to get our lives back and live in freedom - live the way that God intended us to live in the first place.

Keep yourself in the love of God

But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith… Guard and keep yourselves in the love of God; expect and patiently wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), [which will bring you] unto life eternal…” Jude 20-21

If you stay out of the world and stay focused on God,  you will avoid many a hurt, many an argument, and many unnecessary struggles; you will avoid dead-end roads, wasted time, conversations, and actions that are an utter waste of time and energy.  

 

In essence, you will avoid distractions that keep you from the favor of God over your life!

It will be granted to you

"So I say to you, Ask and keep on asking and it shall be given you; seek and keep on seeking and you shall find; knock and keep on knocking and the door shall be opened to you. For everyone who asks and keeps on asking receives; and he who seeks and keeps on seeking finds; and to him who knocks and keeps on knocking, the door shall be opened. Luke 11:9-10 AMP

God's Word is truth, it never fails.  So, ask, seek, and knock for what you want in this life, and it will be granted you.  However, be careful of what you continually ask, seek, and knock for, because, remember, it will be granted to you.

Hence, ask, seek, and knock for love, prosperity, abundance, health, healing, wholeness, light, faith, hope, joy and peace, and they will be granted.  On the other hand, ask, seek, and knock for darkness, anger, resentment, hurt, pain, vengeance and hatred, and they will be granted to you as well.  Therefore, focus on the good and God-like things to meditate on, because the opposite will only prove to be death to your soul and sometimes even your flesh. 

Our help comes from the Lord

"...help comes from the Lord... He will not allow your foot to slip or to be moved... The Lord will keep you from evil; He will keep your life, the Lord will keep your going out and your coming in... " Psalm 121:2-8

The Lord will, and is, with you - ALWAYS!! You never have to worry, you never have to be afraid, and you are never alone!  You are God's child and you will shine with His light now and forevermore!  Amen !! Praise God!!
