But
you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith…
Guard and keep yourselves in the love of God; expect and patiently wait for
the mercy
of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), [which will bring you] unto
life eternal…” Jude 20-21
If
you stay out of the world and stay focused on God, you will avoid many
a hurt, many an argument, and many unnecessary struggles; you will
avoid dead-end
roads, wasted time, conversations, and actions that are an utter waste
of time and energy.
In essence, you will avoid distractions that keep
you from the favor of God over your life!
