Watch your step.
“So watch your step, friends. Make sure there’s no evil unbelief lying around that will trip you up and throw you off course, diverting you from the living God. For as long as it’s still God’s Today, keep each other on your toes so sin doesn’t slow down your reflexes…”
-Hebrews 3:12-14 MSG
We must renew our minds with God’s light, continually, otherwise the devil can quickly take hold and turn our lives upside down – we cannot let this happen! Therefore, stay focused on God and His Word – never let Him out of your mind, sight, and heart…
NEVER!
NEVER!

God keeps his word, the world does not
"... Depend on it: God keeps his word even when the whole world is lying through its teeth." Romans 3:2-6 MSG
Hold fast to God, not the world in which your flesh dwells, as the world in which your flesh dwells will only kill and destroy. Whereas the God in which your heart should hold fast to and depend on will give you life in abundance until it overflows (John 10:10) - this you can depend on!

Do you want to become well?
“When Jesus noticed him lying there
[helpless], knowing that he had already been a long time in that condition, He said to him, Do you want to become well?...”
John 4:6 AMP
This
verse gets me every time! I love
it because I believe it’s the Lord asking me, “Do you want to have a
better life; do you want to live a victorious life?”. It makes me
realize the things I’ve been complaining about, the excuses that I’ve
used, the anger that I’ve not let go, and the forgiveness
that I have yet to give to someone I may be upset with. It makes me
get off of my pity-pot!
Now,
let me ask you, “Do you want to
have a better life; do you want to live a victorious life?”. If your
answer is, Yes, then join me and GET UP!! Our
lives our too short to be focusing on the darkness in our
lives; to be focusing on what or whom we think we need to blame for our
problems. Let's get off of our pity-pots, move on from the
darkness, and take a hold of this blessed life that Jesus
so brutally died to give us!
Yes! Today, we begin afresh and anew, and we begin to live like we’ve never lived before – and all of this in the glorious name of Jesus.

Facing your fears
"... You won't be able to face your enemies until you have gotten rid of these cursed things... Don't be timid and don't so much as hesitate..." Joshua 7:13, 8:1 - The MSG
Until you rid yourself of sin (anger, hatred, lying, cheating, stealing, stinginess, selfishness, gluttony, etc.) you wont be able to stand up and defeat your fears, or enemies. Therefore, if you want victory over your enemies and your fears, then first you must get rid of the sin in your life and repent for your wrongs - don't hesitate and don't be afraid, just do it. No, it isn't easy, and it will take some strength and patience, but little by little, each step you take forward, God will take you two steps more. So, trust in God, do not rely on yourself, and soon those enemies and fears will begin to turn and run as far as they can from you.

Your new, real self in Christ
The moment we decide to call ourselves children of the Most High God, is the moment we must immediately begin to pursue these characteristics written by Paul in Colossians (3:3, 8-15). These pursuits must begin at the deepest part of our most innermost souls:
Since you have died, and your new, real life is hidden with Christ in God, put away and rid yourselves completely of all these things: anger, rage, bad feeling toward others, curses and slander, and foulmouthed abuse and shameful utterances, and lying. Instead, put on behavior marked by tenderhearted pity and mercy, kind feeling, a lowly opinion of yourselves, gentle ways, and patience which is tireless and long suffering, and has the power to endure whatever comes with good temper.
So, even if you outwardly proclaim your salvation to the world, God knows your soul, and that is what will determine eternal life, or to eternal death - the choice is yours. However, if your choice is for eternal life with Christ, then characteristics need to follow suite, and pursued with all might.
Therefore, make a point to be more like Christ everyday - I guarantee your life will never be the same, and you will become like a fine wine... getting better and better everyday.

Lying words
“Do not listen to and believe
the words of the [false] prophets… for it is a lie that they prophesy to you.” Jeremiah 27:14
Do
not believe what everyone tells
you, especially when lies and condemnation are being spoken over you.
When someone prophesies, (forewarns, advises, directs you, etc.), and it
doesn’t feel right in your soul, then do not hesitate on digging into
the Word of God and finding out if His Truth
matches the prophesy spoken over you; if their words don’t match up to
God’s, then disregard whatever they declared and begin to speak the Word
out loud until their voice is silenced within you.
Friends,
do not waste your time on
rubbish, no-good, talk that does nothing for you but put you in a mental
tailspin. God’s Word is the one and only truth that you can rely on.
So, read it, learn it, speak it, declare it, and make it a must on a
daily basis; because then, and only then, can
you stand confident in who you are and Whose you are, knowing that you
have the power to trample any serpent that tries to get in your way.

The truth and the truth only
“A false witness shall not be unpunished
and he who breathes out lies shall not escape… [he] shall perish.” Proverbs 19:5,9
Lying
is a major sin to God, and
He will not overlook it. He put it as one of His Ten Commandments, and
that is proof - lying is disastrous; there will be consequences,
and they won’t be pleasant to our flesh.
We all really need to focus on the
truth. We also need to be ready to stand up to others when they
are in the midst of a lie, because overlooking a sin is not acceptable,
and consequences will be faced for those that do it. Therefore, truth
and truth only. No more lies! No more fibs,
no more pretending! We have to abide by God’s Word – it is the only
way if we want victory in our lives, and in the lives of those we love.

Standards to live by
“Lying lips are extremely disgusting and hateful
to the Lord, but they who deal faithfully are His delight.” Proverbs 12:22
“The hand of the diligent [steadfast, conscientious,
purposeful, busy, careful] will rule…” Proverbs 12:24
Hold
yourself to the these standards: honest,
ethical, trustworthy, diligent, and pure; because not only can being a
leader be amazing, but being a delight to God is the highest goal in
life to strive for!!

Six things that God hates, seven are an abomination...
“These six things the Lord hates indeed, seven are an abomination…,
A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
A heart that manufactures wicked thoughts and plans, feet that are swift in running to evil,
A false witness…, and he who sows discord among his brethren.”
Proverbs 6:16-19
It
is a fact, God hates: pride, lying, killing, wickedness, evil, and evil
instigators. If you happen to be
in the midst of doing any of these, or are one of these, then back out
now! It is time to humbly repent to the Lord and let Him cleanse you of
your sins! Then, do whatever it takes to rectify the situation(s).
Otherwise, I assure you, if you continue in anything
that God hates, your life will be a daily living hell, and living like
that, my friend, won’t be fun.
