God comes down to us
”I will come down and speak with you there...”
Numbers 11:17
God doesn’t make us come up to his level, he comes down to ours - face to face - so that we can understand, follow, trust, and see him in all his glory and all his splendor. Therefore, do not fear that God is too far above you to be able to talk to him - that is not his character. He made each of us unique and individualized as they come, and since he made each of us unique and individualized, he comes to each and every one of us as such so that every single one of us can understand him, see him, revel in him, and live in his glory.
Friends, God is not someone beyond our reach. No! He is right here with each and everyone one of us, engaging with us and loving us. Therefore, talk to him, seek him, and trust him. For when you do, you will find him, in all his love and splendor, standing face to face with you, arms open wide to hold you and carry you on your way to all glory.

The dreamer
" "Here comes that dreamer!" they said to each other."
Genesis 37:19
Let them talk all they want! They say you are a dreamer, but you know you are a child of God and it is him that places those dreams in your heart.
Follow your dreams - they are God's plan for your life.

Let them talk all they want
![]() |
Let them talk all they want, and not to worry, they won’t get away with it. Their fate will soon reign down upon them and destroy their wayward lies and deceits:
“… They’ll say anything, anything, that sounds good to exploit you. They won’t, of course, get by with it. They’ll come to a bad end, for God has never just stood by and let that kind of thing go on.”
-2 Peter 2:2-3 MSG

A clean sweep
-1 Peter 2:1-3 MSG
The way you talk is the way your life will be! So make sure it is wholesome and good: God-given speech - God-approved words.

Step aside
"Don't push your way to the front; don't sweet-talk your way to the top. Put yourself aside, and help others get ahead. Don't be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand."
-Philippians 2:1-4 MSG
Step aside, put your ego below your feet, let those around you go ahead... for in doing so, your time will come, and it will be much greater than you could ever think, want, or hope for.
As well, remember the fine, truth-filled, words: Those who are first will be last and those who are last will be first (Matthew 19:30).

Don't listen to them...

His Word reigns over any man's.

Are you ready to listen
“… Speak, I’m your servant, ready to listen.” 1 Samuel 3:10, The MSG
Do
you feel God trying to talk to you, lead you, counsel you…? Do you
have a tug on your heart but you are ignoring it?
If so, please stop and listen to Him; surrender to Him. Not only will
He keep you on the right path, but He’ll keep you from making some
terrible mistakes and avoid learning lessons the hard way - the way too
many of us have had to learn ourselves.

If you talk the talk.
"But (like a boxer) I buffet my body [handle it roughly, discipline it by hardships] and subdue it, for fear that after proclaiming to others the Gospel... I myself should become unfit [not stand the test, be unapproved and rejected]." 1 Corinthians 9:27 AMP
If you are going to talk the talk, then, you too, must walk the walk!

The truth and the truth only
“A false witness shall not be unpunished
and he who breathes out lies shall not escape… [he] shall perish.” Proverbs 19:5,9
Lying
is a major sin to God, and
He will not overlook it. He put it as one of His Ten Commandments, and
that is proof - lying is disastrous; there will be consequences,
and they won’t be pleasant to our flesh.
We all really need to focus on the
truth. We also need to be ready to stand up to others when they
are in the midst of a lie, because overlooking a sin is not acceptable,
and consequences will be faced for those that do it. Therefore, truth
and truth only. No more lies! No more fibs,
no more pretending! We have to abide by God’s Word – it is the only
way if we want victory in our lives, and in the lives of those we love.

Use your voice.
“I cry to the Lord with my voice; with
my voice to the Lord do I make supplication.” Psalm 142:1
Talk to God! Talk to Him openly, honestly,
and whole-heartedly – He is listening! Make Him the first one you go to in
all situations, in all circumstances, because He truly listens - He
truly understands, and if necessary, (and in His way and
His timing), He will respond. So, make God your best friend, your
number one confidante, and enjoy the world around you as it becomes a
much brighter, much happier, much more peaceful and
loving place to be.
