Before any action is taken, seek God first!

"... they inquired of the Lord...The Lord answered..."

Judges 20:23

Before you move, before you execute a plan you have made for yourself, be sure to inquire of God first.  For if he is not part of your plan, your plan will never succeed.  However, if you put him in charge of your plan, then victory will be yours for the taking.  

Closed doors

Has a door been closed in your life?  A door you’ve been depending on to be open?  If so, then God has 30 more open doors for you.  So take a deep breath and know that the door that just closed will be one of the best blessings you’ve ever had.

One day, one moment, one split-second from God can change your whole life.

"That day the Lord exalted Joshua in the sight of all Israel; and they revered him all the days of his life, just as they revered Moses."

Joshua 4:14

It takes one miraculous millisecond from God to change your whole life.  Therefore, whatever you may be discouraged about right now, whatever seems hopeless, whatever seems lost, whatever has you stressed to the max won't last forever.  Hang in there.  God is working, God is planning, God is getting ready to execute a miracle in your life that is going to change the course of your life forever.  Yes, keep going, keep moving, keep praying, and keep knowing: God has your moment ... get ready for the amazing my friend.

What God tells you to do: listen and do.

"Did I not tell tell the messengers you sent to me, "Even if Balak gave me his palace filled with silver and gold, I could not do anything of my own accord, good or bad, to go beyond the command of the Lord - and I must say only what the Lord says?"

Numbers 24:13

No matter how enticing the offer may be, no matter how desperately you long to have what is being given, if the Lord has told you not to accept, then you mustn't accept.  Yes, it seems so hard to say 'no' at the moment, but God has a plan - trust him!  

Therefore, with all might, courage, and confidence, say, 'no thank you', turn and walk away.

Do not be angry with yourselves

"And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you."

Genesis 45:5

If you've ever done evil to another and you still get sick to your stomach with guilt over the thought of it, do not worry.  For, although you meant to harm that person at that time, God had a plan all along.  He knew what was going to happen before it happened, and he knew what you were going to do before you did it; God, had the blessing awaiting the outcome of the whole situation, a blessing that you may never know, but a tremendous blessing all the same.  

Therefore, now is the time to forgive yourself, repent, stand up tall, focus on Christ, and move forward with your life.  It's all going to be OK, God knows your heart and for the guilt and repentance you feel - he will bless you for it.  Remember, everything works out for good to those who rely on Christ :-).

The dreamer

Let them talk all they want!  They say you are a dreamer, but you know you are a child of God and it is him that places those dreams in your heart.  

Follow your dreams - they are God's plan for your life.

Where you are at is right where you are supposed to be!

“Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile.  Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.” Jeremiah 29:7 NIV

Although you may not be where you would like to be in life right now, you are still where you are for a good purpose - for God’s purpose!  Take time to be thankful where you are. Remember, wherever you are at right now, it is not the final chapter in your story – it is a stepping stone to the next chapter.  

So, instead of being down about where you dwell currently, praise God for it, and thank Him of the future He has planned just for you; if you keep a good attitude and stay close to God at all times, then blessings will follow you, surround you, and multiply for you, no matter what chapter of your life you reside.

My friend, God has you where He wants you right now -  live in it, rejoice in it, and continually pray positive prayers over it. I promise, one day you will look back and be thankful for every single moment of it.

God's plan is the only plan, so heed his calls.

"God's word came to Jonah..."Up on your feet and on your way to the big city... But Jonah got up and went the other direction... running away from God.. as far away from God as he could get.  But God sent a huge storm at sea, the waves towering... When God calls you might as well give in... you will never be able to run far enough, fast enough, or hide well enough for him NOT to find you.  One way or another he will catch you and his will, will come to fruition in your life.  So, instead of wasting your own precious time, and that's all your wasting, you might as well let the good Lord do with you what he's going to do.  Believe me, it is going to be something a trillion times better then you will ever be trying to do in your own might.

God knows exactly what is going on

You may not know what is going on in your messes (turmoil’s) right now, but, believe me, God does!!  So, call on God, he has a great plan for you; keep hoping, praying, believing, and honoring Him, and, before long, He will prove that your messes and mess-ups are just unfolded blessings that needed some ironing out to give you a future filled with blessing and favor.

God has many plans for each and every one of us - those that believe in him, and worship him with all that we are, are planned to prosper in all things good and God-given.  So, although in the natural it may not seem like it, as God’s child it is just a matter of time before one of his many plans come to pass – it will happen.  As well, although it may not seem like it, you are blessed in whatever moment of your life you are at right now, it is just a matter of time before you realize it.

Life is priceless

“Oh, how sweet the light of day,

And how wonderful to live in the sunshine!

Even if you live a long time, don’t take a single day for granted.

Ecclesiastes 11:7-8

Life is priceless – enjoy every last moment of it!  And, although I don’t know the darkness and pain you are going through, I do know this:  God still has a great plan for you; dwelling on the darkness will only lead to more darkness. So, muster up the energy to  move forward and seek The Light, God is there, and once you find a glimpse of it, the darkness will begin to fade and become a piece of your past - a landmark to learn from and something you can let go of.
