Grounded in faith

“Have the roots [of your being] firmly and deeply planted [in Him, fixed and founded in Him], being continually built up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in the faith…” Colossians 2:7 AMPC

Faith in God will keep you grounded during the storms of life, and spending daily time with Him will build you up so that when the forces of darkness come against you, you will be able to conquer them with ease.

 So make God your first and foremost priority because your life truly depends on Him.

God searches the heart

"But I God, search the heart

and examine the mind.

How are you living right now?  Frustrated, upset, worried, guilty, unhappy, disgusted?  Or, are you peaceful, calm, joyful, loving, grounded; trusting God and faith-filled?  Well, whichever the case, check your heart, there lie the reasons that you are in the state that you currently are in.  So, if you are living in the former, (frustrated, worried, etc.), then the heart is where changes need to be made - God needs to become your focus.  If you are living in the latter, then keep that heart of yours guarded and secured; continue to keep your heart rooted in God - rooted in love.
