Choose not to conform

"But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, [and]  God gave [Daniel] knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds."
Paraphrased from Daniel 1: 8, 17

When we choose to conform to God and not to man, God conforms us into miraculous beings - beings that defy the laws of human nature and science.

Victory after victory after victory

“Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God…”
2 John 9

SO, STAY THE COURSE - THE SLOWER THE BETTER.  NO NEED TO RUSH.

If what you are listening to and/or whom you are learning from isn’t in line with God’s word, then it could be that you've run ahead of God and lost focus.  Therefore, stop, turn, refocus, an get back in the groove of God so that the path you are on leads you to victory after victory after victory.

God gives us what we need

“To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning...”
- Daniel 1:17

God gives us what we need to grow and succeed without cost, bribe, or hear-say.
However, the world gives us what it gets paid to give us - there is always a fee for us when all is said and done.  Hence, make sure you want to pay that fee before you dive in to what the world claims to be able to give you.

Forget the past - it's over and done with

“Let us strip off anything that slows us down or holds us back…” Hebrews 12:1 (LB)

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.” Isaiah 43:18 (NIV

“Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead…” Philippians 3:13 (NLT)

As we can read, the Word of God clearly wants us to put the past behind us and move forward with our lives.  Therefore, if you are, in any way, stuck (frustrated, hurt, angry, depressed, dark, lonely, rejected, hopeless, discouraged, etc.,) then heeding the verses above is of the utmost importance!  The past, whether good or bad, can be looked at as stepping stones, learning curves, and blessing builders for a great future ahead.  So, although it may be difficult at first, change your mind and focus toward your future and know that the past happened just as it was supposed to happen; for if you wouldn’t have experienced what you did, you wouldn’t have the necessary experience to become the great person of God that you were called to be.

My friend, God loves you and he has a great plan allotted just for you.
