Unfortunately, battles in our lives will never cease to end.  However, we have Christ, therefore, we have the victory.  Nonetheless, the victory will not be ours until we learn to stand up, take the battles, victories, and defeats from our pasts, and learn from them.  In order for victory and victory-forever-more, we must take the lesson for every event in our lives and become stronger and wiser from them.  Hence, my friends, until we take the lessons and choose to learn from them, our victories will always be within reach but not close enough for us to grab them.  So, learn, learn, learn, and stand strong; for the more we make the choice to strengthen, then we will become strong; yes, if we choose to learn and become strong, victories will be never-ending in our amazing lives.

Show yourself a woman or man of God

"... So be strong, show yourself a man, and observe what the Lord your God requires: walk in his ways, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and requirements... so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go..."

Here's my version:

Be strong! Be a man or woman of God: do what God's Word says to do and listen to and follow the still, small voice of God in your heart.  Do not step aside from him, or his words; not right or left.  For if you fail him not, and follow his lead, you will succeed in everything do and everywhere you go.

Be Strong! Stay Strong!

The longer the battle...

"The war between the house of Saul and the house of David lasted a long time.  David grew stronger and stronger, while the house of Saul grew weaker and weaker."

The longer you can stay and fight in the midst of life's fiery storms, the stronger you become.

Unshaking strength comes from perseverance.    Don't give up.

If you will take the first step...

The Lord turned to him and said, "Go in the strength you save and save Israel out of Midian's hand.  Am I not sending you?"

"But Lord," Gideon asked, "how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest... and I am the least in my family."

The Lord answered, "I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianitesies together...

Peace! Do not be afraid.  You are not going to die."

Judges 6:14-16, 23

Like Gideon, you may be afraid, you may feel weak, you may feel like the challenge before you is impossible; yes, you may already feel defeated.  However, what you feel means nothing compared to who God is and what he can do for you.  Therefore, take that first bold step of faith, no matter how fearful you are, and from there God will carry you forward into victory.

Victory over the enemies of this world

"The Lord your God himself will drive them out of your way.  He will push them out before you, and you will take possession of their land, as the Lord your God promised you. Be very strong; be careful to obey all that is written in the Book of the Law of Moses without turning aside to the right or to the left... you are to hold fast to the Lord your God... God fights for you, just as he has promised.  So be very careful to love the Lord your God."

Joshua 23:5,6,8,10

Since God fights for you every moment of every day, do the same for him!  

Fight for Christ - fight for your Lord, your Savior, your Victor.  

My friend, if you don't the devil of hell will win you over and life will crumble down around you.

Strength, courage ~ Courage, strength

"Be strong and courageous... Be strong and very courageous... Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.  Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go...Only be strong courageous."

Joshua 1:6, 7, 9, 18

Courage: spirit, resolution, tenacity, mental or moral strength to resist opposition, danger, or hardship. courage implies firmness of mind and will in the face of danger or extreme difficulty.

Strength: the emotional or mental qualities necessary in dealing with situations or events that are distressing or difficult.

Don't repeat the same mistakes

"... You are not to go back that way again."

Deuteronomy 17: 16

You've come along way.   You've worked hard to make life better for yourself.  You've conquered some impossibles.  You've made a way for yourself.  Therefore, do not even consider, not even for a second, of going back to where you were - NO!!  You've worked too hard, and have overcome too much to even consider such a travesty.

Stay strong with God, keep moving forward because victory, blessing, peace, love, tranquility, and joy, will all shine through for you before you know it.

Just do what you are told

”Moses told the Israelites all that the Lord commanded him.”

Numbers 29:40

If God tells you to do, or say something, just do it! It will keep you from wasting time back-pedaling later on.  Yes, my friends - just do it: be bold, be strong;  be who God made you be and fear not, fear no one, and do what God has put you on this earth to do.

Keep praying - don't give up

“Then Jesus told his disciples a parable that they should always pray not give up.”

Luke 18:1

If Jesus doesn’t want us to give up on our prayers then there’s a reason; reason being, they will be answered if we keep praying. Therefore be patient, be bold, be believing, and be strong in faith.  Don’t ever, not ever, give up - your prayers are heard and they will be answered.

Ask, Receive - Seek, Find - Knock, Open

“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”

Luke 11:9-10

Don’t back out of your goals and dreams because of fear! Heck NO!  Instead, look fear straight on and tell it to get behind you and eat your dust.

Friends, God’s Word says to ask, seek, and knock, so do it in order to obtain your prayers, goals, dreams, and desires!  His Word states that when you do, you will receive, you will find and doors will be opened for you.  Thus, go for it!  Go BIG – Go ALL-OUT – Stand STRONG, remembering to never look back!!

Self-controlled and alert

“Be self-controlled and alert.  Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.  Resist him, standing firm in the faith…And the God of all grace… will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”

-1 Peter 5:8-11

Be sensitive and open to the promptings of your heart, as those are the promptings of The Spirit guarding you and keeping you out of trouble.

Be strong - Do not fear

“Be strong, do not fear; your God will come…”

Isaiah 35:3-4

Keep moving forward – listen to, and learn from God.

My friend, don’t stop, don’t look back, don’t give up… be strong.  God is with you every step forward of the way; he is with you forever and always.

Finding purpose means stepping out.

“Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you.  He will not fail you or forsake you.”

Deuteronomy 31:6 NASB

Sometimes finding your purpose means stepping out of your comfort zone and helping to bring to light those that are doing wrong.  Staying quiet and letting wrong continue merely delays the blessings that require fearlessness, strength, and courage before you can ever obtain them.
