"If it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of Amorites, in whose land ye dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

Joshua 24:15 KJV

Write down the top five indecision's in your life.  After doing so, make a decision on each one and stick to those decisions.  Make the decisions based out of your heart, out of the whisper of God's voice - the touch of his Spirit.  Even if they seem rocky, stick to them. For if you feel that the decisions are based on Christ and his leading you will succeed - God will see to it.  Yes, there may be small changes along the way, but the changes will be easy because God's burdens are always light!  Therefore, stop floundering like a fish out of water, and just do it.  My friend, life is too precious to sit around wandering back and forth with, "What-ifs". For the only, "What-if", one needs to be concerned with is, "What if Jesus comes tonight?  Will he take me with him or will he not?".

Just do what you are told

”Moses told the Israelites all that the Lord commanded him.”

Numbers 29:40

If God tells you to do, or say something, just do it! It will keep you from wasting time back-pedaling later on.  Yes, my friends - just do it: be bold, be strong;  be who God made you be and fear not, fear no one, and do what God has put you on this earth to do.

So that the glory of the Lord may appear to you

"...This is what the Lord commanded you to do, so that the glory of the Lord may appear to you."

Leviticus 9:6

To be blessed with the glory of God, you must first do what he tells you to do.  

Trust God, do what he tells you to do, he knows what's best for you.

Want to be blessed abundantly? Then, obey God - do what he says

"If you fully obey the Lord you God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.  All these blessings will com upon you and accompany you if you obey the Lord you God:

You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.

the fruit of your womb will be blessed, and crop of your land and the young of your livestock...

Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.

You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.

The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you.  They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.

The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to.  The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.

The Lord will establish you as his holy people... all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will fear you.  The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity...

The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands.  You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.  The Lord will make you the head and not the tail... You will always be at the top, never at the bottom.  Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them."

The blessings of God come when you look to him, listen to him, and follow him, and him alone!

Let's get this kind of Israelite faith - let's do what the Lord tells us to do.  Yes, the Israelites initially grumbled, complained, (like we do now), and took forty years to finally trust and do what the Lord said, but once they did, boy-oh-boy, their lives were so blessed and life was good.  So as God's children, we can not only learn from the Israelites by refraining from grumbling and complaining at what God tells us to do, we can take the faster route and just listen and do, grasping hold of God's blessings right now!! 

So friends, take the short way to the good stuff - just do what God is telling you to do!!

Prepare the way

“…Prepare a way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.  Every valley shall be filled in, every mountain and hill made low.  The crooked roads shall become straight, the rough ways smooth…”

Get rid of the unnecessary clutter so God can work his salvation in you.  How?  Start by asking God what clutter in your life needs to be thrown out, mentally and physically, and then follow through by actually listening to him and doing what he tells you to do.

Never, ever, give up on following God and his Word – EVER!  No matter how hard it is, or how hard it may seem at any given time, God has a plan and he wants you to trust him and keep on moving forward.  In doing so, you will be blessed– yes, blessed you will be.

Remember, God’s Word is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, so if we follow suit of what he tells us, then we will never be able to go wrong… EVER!

What do your words and deeds say about you?  Think about this question, and think about it whole-heartedly, there just may be some heart and mouth changes that need to take place... yes?

Doing good

Make doing good part of who you are, part of your DNA - go out of your way to do good for people.   I guarantee the light of Christ will shine within, and around you, and you will have an aura, which is Jesus, surrounding your life, filling you with peace and joy, giving you abundance and blessing, and making people flock to be with you; wanting to be close to that Aura that they have yet to experience for themselves.

If you are like me, you can probably think of many things you’ve ignored, knowing you should of done, but, instead, talked yourself out of or pretended to not know – in essence, you and I have sinned, but we’ve tried to make it right somehow… nope, doesn’t work that way – sin IS sin, period.  So, I believe it is time for people like you and me to grow up, stop being selfish, and start making waves for Jesus - It is time to get real, get with God, do the right thing (even when we don’t feel like it), and start making a difference - It is time to live to please God and stop living just to please ourselves.

Do what you know you need to do.

You know what to do; you know the right thing to do; you know what your heart wants to do; you know what God has called you to do - So, do it!!
