Keeping our word

"... Did I not make you swear by the Lord and worn you...?" At  that time you said to me, 'What you say is good, I  will obey.' Why then did you not keep your oath to the Lord and obey the command I gave you?"

1 Kings 2:42-43

Why waste your precious time and the precious time of others promising things that you have no intention of following through with?  

Hence, if you don't mean it, DON'T SAY IT.

Today the chains are broken

“... “Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from among you” ...”

Joshua 5:9

Today is a new day.  The old is gone, the chains are broken, the grass is green, and the light is ever-so-bright.  So open your eyes, hearts, minds, and souls, God has broken the chains of darkness from you and today begins a new day in his amazing freedom - a life which lives in his amazing glory.

Rise up!

“I’m sending you off to open the eyes of the outsiders so they can see the difference between dark and light, and choose light, see the difference between Satan and God, and choose God…” Acts 26:17-18 MSG

If you are reading this, there is a reason:  You are called, by God, to be a difference maker; to help him shed light in the darkness – a dark world, a dark soul; to help him repair the hearts of the broken hearted; to help bring the lost to him.  Yes, you ARE called!!

Therefore, rise up and decide to help - today and forevermore!  You are his child, you are gifted, you are anointed, you shine with his glory, and you have been given the favor; you are God’s hands and feet! Now go out and be amazing for others!

Help God help the world!!

Earthquakes in our lives

“… Then, without warning, a huge earthquake!  The jailhouse tottered, every door flew open, all the prisoners were loose.”  Acts 16:25-26 MSG

This verse really jumped out today.  It made me realize that my personal, so-called, earthquakes, (hard times and challenges, hurts, hang-ups, addictions, fears, deaths and darkness’s, etc.),  are all blessed signs from God that a new-found freedom is on its way and chains are being broken in my midst.

What about you?  Are you or your life, or both, crumbling down around you?  If so, take heart and find it within you to rejoice:  The forces of darkness are being broken by God and blessings, freedom, and victories are straight ahead; the death of darkness is breaking away and the light of Jesus is beginning to shine right through.

Praise God - All glory be to Jesus.

You are good, right, and whole when you are a believer in Jesus

"...But everyone who believes in this raised-up Jesus is declared good and right and whole before God." 

~ Acts 13:36-39 MSG

What the world says about you, what you think about yourself, what the, so-called- professionals have labeled you as, what you have done in the past, and what you will do in the future, etc., are all things that come from the outside.  Those words mean nothing - they are merely descriptions of what is happening, has happened, or may happen, in your life.  You are Christ's sweet child dealing with life struggles, tribulations, hang-ups, and heartaches - you are not broken!  Just the opposite!  As a believer you are exactly what the Word says.

You are GOOD, RIGHT, AND WHOLE.
 
Therefore, embrace what the world claims to be your flaws, for in God's eyes they are perfect; he knows you are human, and he's just walking you through life, allowing you to fall and allowing you to grow.  And, when all is said and done, your life will be a shining example and legacy to the world in which you lived.

When you have LOVE, you have GOD

LIFE IS ABOUT LOVE.  THEREFORE, SINCE GOD IS LOVE, THEN LIFE IS ABOUT HIM!!

With Love – GOD – you can heal the un-healable, change the unchangeable, conquer the unconquerable, defeat the undefeated, rule the unruly, and love the unlovable.  Yes, with Love – GOD – you can overcome any obstacle and be victorious over every battle that comes your way. 

Our Safe house

“God’s a safe house for the battered, a sanctuary during bad times.  The moment you arrive, you relax; you’re never sorry you knocked.”  Psalm 9:9-10

Knock on God’s door – He will open it wide and welcome you with loving arms.

Never doubt God!

"... God has done what he said he would do..." +2 Chronicles 6:10-11, +MSG

What God speaks to your heart is exactly what God will make sure comes to pass: God never lies, His Word never fails, and His promises will never be broken.  What God says he will do, will be done.

The way to wisdom and understanding

Keep the commands of God, your God.  Practice them.  You will become wise and understanding.

Wisdom and understanding come from God, His Word, and His commands.  So, follow them!  Otherwise you may end up like many, so-called, leaders of this world – corrupt and broken.

In the name of Jesus, walk!

“… in [the use of] the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk!” Acts 2:6 AMP

We cannot sit around being helpless, fearful, afraid, and broken in this life; we cannot sit around being a, so-called, victim any longer!  Yes, bad things happen to all of us, some much worse than others, but we must keep moving, walking, forward… Jesus died a terrible death just for us to do so!  Therefore, whether baby steps or leaps and bounds, WALK!!  Yes, WALK - and move forward into the good life that Jesus died for you to live.

Take off them prison clothes.

“Jehoiachin put off his prison garments, and he dined regularly at the kings table all the days of his life.” Jeremiah 52:33 NIV

When God steps in, chains are broken, prisoners of darkness are set free, blessings begin to pour down, and all the days of one’s life are filled with favor.  So, if you haven’t already, then it is time for you to let God step into your life and take it over.  Your life will begin to change in indescribable, miraculous ways; a new inner life will dawn and you will become an unconquerable enemy to the devil and all of his allies.

Oh, Praise God - Hallelujah

The man whom the Lord regards.

“But this the man to whom I will look and have regard: he who is humble and of a broken or wounded spirit, and who trembles at My word and reveres my commandments.” Isaiah 66:2 AMP

Are you, (or have you ever been), humiliated, hurt, or wounded – physically and/or mentally? Have you cried out to God for help, for answers, for insight, for healing, for your life? Do you love God and His Word?  If so, then this verse is talking directly to you!  He sees you, He loves you, He is making a way for you, He is healing you, and He is carrying you every step of your life.  Yes, He loves you, and whatever your pain, whatever your fear, whatever your worry – He’s got it under control, and your victory will soon shine through for you to experience in the whole.
