Know-it-alls

“We never really know enough until we recognize that God alone knows it all.”
1 Corinthians 8:13 MSG

Being a know-it-all gets nowhere in life, as there is no know-it-all but one – God Almighty.

Therefore, before you tell others what to do, how to think, where to go and what areas of life to partake, remember this:  You are not God, so refrain from acting as such.

Test, prove, and abstain.

But test and prove all things [until you can recognize] what is good; [to that] hold fast.
Abstain from evil [shrink from it and keep aloof from it] in whatever form or whatever kind it may be.”
1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 AMPC

If something seems too good to be true, or if something is questionable in your heart, test it by digging into the Word of God and through prayer and meditation.  Until you have peace, hold off on making any decisions.

As well, whatever choices you make, words you speak, or actions you take need to be free of evil.  So, at all costs, abstain from evil, and let God be your vindicator - I truly believe that if you do, your life will be beyond blessed.  However, if you take vindication into your own hands, evil may befall you and your actions may come back and bite you where it hurts…ouch

Give your life, daily, as an offering to God

"... Take your everyday, ordinary life... and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him.  Don't become so well adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking.  Instead, fix your attention on God.  You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you and quickly respond to it... God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you." Romans 12:1-2

Take yourself and your life out of this world, and give it, daily, over to God.  If you do, you will find that there is more to life than you have ever thought imaginable or possible.

To know eternity

“And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with, and understand) you, the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ… whom you have sent.” John 17:3 AMP

The keys to eternal (forever) life:

God, the Father; Jesus, the Son; the Spirit, God and sweet Jesus, combined into one.

Believe, know, and receive them – all three – and you, my friend, will know eternity.

Misconception and fallacy

“Beware of false prophets… you will fully recognize them by their fruits…” Matthew 8:15-16 AMP

Avoid being hasty, and do your research before you make decisions to trust someone who is offering you, so-called, opportunities of a lifetime.  Unfortunately, in today’s world there is a lot of purposeful misconceptions and fallacies taking place, so we must always be cautious before jumping into any life changing opportunity.  Our first steps should be to: take some deep breaths, ask God for direction, pray with all faith, do research, and then wait on God’s guidance.  If it is truly for you, then God will make sure it happens, and if not, He’ll make sure you pass it up.

So remember to wait on Him, and let Him take control of your decision making. I guarantee that if you do, the opportunity of a lifetime will be one that leaves you filled with amazement, standing in awe at the miracle workings of the Lord our God.
