Moving out of your comfort zone

"Do not stay in the stronghold.  Go into the land of Judah..."

1 Samuel 22:5

Sometimes you have to step out of your comfort zone in order to find out your God-given strengths, abilities, and blessings, all of which will move you to a whole new level of greatness.

When God speaks - LISTEN!

"...One night the Master spoke to (insert your name here): "Keep it up and don't let anyone intimidate or silence you.  No matter what happens, I'm with you and no one is going to be able to hurt you..."

Don't give up and don't give in to your fears, hang ups, addictions, or unhealthy actions - don't do it - not when you know that God is on your side.  Instead, fight against it (them) with the forces of God and his Word.  He is with you!  He won't let you be defeated!  He won't betray or reject you!  He holds you in the palm of his hand!  He absolutely loves you, my friend.

Therefore, fight and keep fighting by standing firm in faith, strong in prayer, and dedicated solely to God.  You will be triumphant, you will shine - your victory is at hand.

Believers are so powerful!

“These are some of the signs that will accompany believers: They will throw out demons in my name, they will speak in new tongues, they will take snakes in their hands, they will drink poison and not be hurt, they will lay hands on the sick and make them well.” 

Mark 16:17-18

As believers we are so powerful.  Powerful because the Spirit of Christ died on the cross and rose again in Spirit, living in each and every one of us.  We have power and ability, all because we have been given the Spirit of sweet Jesus.  Therefore as believers - BELIEVE - we can do ALL things through Christ Jesus!

Commanded by God

“… God commanded me to hurry, so don’t get in my way; you’ll only interfere with God, who is on my side in this, and he’ll destroy you.” +2 Chronicles 35:21 MSG

Whatever God commands of you he will give you the strength and ability to move any obstacle out of your way to accomplish it.

To the best of your ability

“The house I am building has to be the best, for God is the best…” #2 Chronicles 2:5 MSG

Whatever you’ve been given to do in life needs to be done to the absolute best of your abilities, because whatever you’re given to do comes from God and He is worthy of all our best efforts.  

Remember, God only gives you endeavors and directions that He knows you will excel in.  So what you may think is impossible, isn’t! God won't set you up to do it if you can't do it, and God won't set you up for it if you aren't the one with the abilities do the best job possible!

Whom God has gifted

“… whom God had gifted with the ability…” Exodus 36:2-3, The Message

Each of us have natural gifts, talents, and abilities that we were born with; things we never had to be taught.  Those are the gifts, talents, and abilities given to us by God; those are the gifts, talents, and abilities that each of us need to be actively using to help glorify and grow the kingdom of God.  So, let me ask, what are your natural gifts, talents, and abilities, (and remember, no gift is too small, no talent too silly, and no ability not needed), so, what are yours?  Are you actively using them?  If not, then now would be a good time to start.  Therefore, seek God prayerfully, and with your whole heart, and He will lead you into the direction where you special-ness is much needed.

Skills

"... I've given the skills to make all the things I've commanded you..." Exodus 31: 6-11,  

The Message

It doesn't matter who you are, where you come from, how much money you have, or don't have, when God leads to do something, He will make sure you have the skills to get it done.  

Therefore, be bold and follow God's lead without losing heart, and, remember, when you get to a point that you don't think you have the ability to accomplish what you've set out to do, cry out to God, He'll step in and give you, or give you someone, with the ability to do what needs to be done.

He who is able to hear

"He who is able to hear, let him listen to and heed what the Spirit says to the assemblies (churches).  To him who overcomes (conquers), I will give to eat of the manna that is hidden, and I will give him a white stone with new name engraved on the stone which no one knows or understands except he who receives it. [Ps. 78:24: Isa. 62.2.]" Revelation 2:17 AMPC

To him who conquers what, you may ask?  It is to him that conquers falling into the likes of Satan; to him that stands up to sin, stands up to wrong-doing, stands up to evil... to him who stands up for God.  If you stay out of the world (out of sin), and lean on God for all understanding, faith, and perseverance, then you will come out victorious in all your life's endeavors. God will make you leader over many, He will have a special stone with a new name, meaning He will change you into His likeness, give you abounding victory, and give you a life of blessing, peace, joy, favor and the like.  In essence, you will have the Spirits power, enabling you to change the world in which you live.

It is not for you to know.

“He said to them, It is not for you to become acquainted with and know what time brings… or fixed years and seasons… But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you” Acts 1:7-8 AMP

Although God may not give you exact details of certain situations in life, you can rest assure that He will give you the power, confidence, and ability to peacefully go through it.  So, don’t get discouraged by, ‘what-if’s’, instead, keep focused on moving forward.  Remember, God is handling everything, and I guarantee that He will not let you down, ever!

You have power over darkness!

“Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.” Luke 10:19AMP

You have the power to keep all forces of darkness, including Satan himself, below your feet. Don’t go another day burdened down by hurt, anger, hatred, resentment, loss, fear, and the like; stomp them all below your feet and make it a point to go out and live this day, and every day from now to eternity, to the fullest, in peace, knowing that God has something amazing and new for your everyday!

Yes, my friend, today, and every day, is your day, therefore, let not the darkness of man or beast ruin it for you. God has blessed you with this one life, and He wants you to live it out to the fullest of your God-given gifts and abilities – so, go and live it!
