Simply love - a life open to God

The whole point of what we’re urging is simply love - love uncontaminated by self interest and counterfeit faith, a life open to God.”
-1 Timothy 1:5-7

Simple LOVE - the kind of love given to us by God - nothing added, nothing taken away; no judgement, no critique - no end.

Simple and honest

"It's who you are and the way you live that count before God.  Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth.  That's the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship..." John 4:23-24 MSG

Simple and honest: Two characteristics that touch the heart of God.

Just ask! Be direct!

"Ask and you'll get;
Seek and you'll find;
Knock and the door will open.

"Don't bargain with God.  Be direct.  Ask for what you need.  This is not a cat-and-mouse, hide-and-seek game we're in..."
(Luke 11:9-13 MSG)

Stop playing around: Simply ask God for what you need, ask in the name of Jesus, thank and praise Him that it will come to pass, and move on.  No phony bologna!  Just ask!  Be direct!

Simply believe

“…Do not be seized with alarm or struck with fear; simply believe [in me as able to do this], and she shall be made well.”
Luke 8:50 AMP

Believe in God, and all will be well; believe in the world, and all will go awry.

Nothing complicated about this – simply believe!

Let your Yes be Yes and your No be No

“Let your Yes be simply Yes and your NO be simply NO; anything more than that comes from the evil one.” Matthew 5:37 AMP

A Yes or No question requires a Yes or No answer – period.  I do realize that explanations are required if asked by an appropriate individual/group, but unless Why is asked, try to keep your answer simple, (Yes or No).

Many of us, including myself, feel so obligated to explain ourselves, especially when we say No, because we want to avoid hurting someone’s feelings, or step on anyone’s toes; hence, we want to avoid any sort of uneasiness, or confrontation.  Unfortunately, our explanations are often a wee-bit exaggerated, which equals lying, which equals sin, which equals Satan getting exactly what he wants, which equals doing ourselves and our lives absolutely no good.  Lies (sin) cause damage, always end badly, and, most importantly, defy God and His Word.  Therefore, keep your Yes’s and No’s simple and sweet, and keep exaggerated explanations to yourself.  By doing so, you’ll keep the door closed to Satan and open to God, allowing the Light of the Earth to continually move through you, and pour His amazing grace, love, and mercy over your life now and forevermore.  Praise God!
