BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL, YOU!

Worshipping the Lord comes first.

"Early the next morning they arose and worshipped before the Lord and then went back to their home at Ramah..."

Before anything else, before you begin your day, spending time with the Lord is a must.  For if you don't, if you choose not to, you will find your life falling into chaos, despair, fear, and worry.  Therefore, take an extra few minutes out of your every day and spend it with God; take the extra few minutes out of your everyday and find out that life is really beautiful, dreams really do come true, and mountains do move when you speak words of power (words of God) to them.

Focus

“Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Matthew 6:33 NIV

If you have hopes, dreams, and desires, yet not seeking God to find them, then that is all they will ever be: hopes, dreams, and desires – period.  However, if you have hopes, dreams, and desires, and are seeking God, then not only will they be hopes, dreams, and desires, they will be yours for the taking: blessed, beautiful, with your name written all over them.

What I believe about myself, is what my life will reflect.  Therefore, I will think of myself the way God thinks of me: beautiful, fresh, new, honored, fruitful, loved, important, whole, forgiven, wise, prosperous, mighty, strong, healthy, full of light, and blessed.   Yes, I think nothing less than these, because God thinks of me nothing less than these.

You are so beautiful

“Abandon these silly god-superstitions and embrace God himself.  We don’t make God; he makes us, and all of this – sky, earth, sea, and everything in them.”

Abandon these silly world-given thoughts and ideas of what perfection is; abandon your-own-self ideas of what perfection is; instead, embrace God and all that he is.  We didn’t make ourselves nor did the world make us, God made us!  We are his perfection and we ought to embrace every part of it.

Remember, God loves us unconditionally, so we should love ourselves in the same way: unconditionally, compassionately, and with reverence and awe of the amazing person we are becoming. Yes, we are God’s beauty.  We are his glory.  We are made in his image.  We are made to be victorious.  And, most of all, we are made to live life!!!

You have been handpicked ~ You have been redeemed

"... He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world... For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ...In Him we have redemption (deliverance and salvation) through His blood, the remission (forgiveness) of our offenses (shortcoming, and trespasses), in accordance with the riches and the generosity of His own gracious favor, Which He lavished upon us in every kind of wisdom and understanding (practical insight and prudence)..." Erase any and all the things the world has told you, and fill your mind, heart, body, and soul with these verses.  Read and re-read them until they sink way down deep into your soul.  Ask God to help glorify these verses through and within you, and ask Him to reveal just how important, beautiful, successful, and amazing you truly are.  

My friend, you are redeemed, you are forgiven, you are hand picked, and you are the apple of God's eyes.  Whatever else you've been told can be removed from your mind.  How?  Focus on God, and focus on His Word.  I guarantee, the more you fill your mind with Him, the more beautiful your life becomes - inside and out.

Beautiful, prosperous, and glorified.

“You shall also be [so beautiful and prosperous as to be thought of as] a crown of glory and honor in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem [exceedingly beautiful] in the hand of your God.” Isaiah 62:3 AMP

When God takes control of your life, your inner beauty (God’s light) begins to brightly shine from within; the beauty of your soul begins to radiate for all around you to enjoy; you prosper in ways unheard of in the natural; and, the glory of God’s light within you springs forefront to others minds, opening doors of favor and promotion that could only be manifested by God.

Your body is not your own. Your body is God's.

19 Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, 20 for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.

Are you honoring God with your body?  Are you following the Spirit of God, or your own spirit of never being quite up to par?  Are you consistently beating yourself up, putting yourself down, over-eating, over-exercising, over-critizing yourself, your looks, your body?  I know that most of us can answer these questions with a big ol', 'YES!', which means we are beating up God's beautiful creation; which means, we are basically living in sin - sin (all sin, no matter the sin) which leads to death.  

Well enough is enough!  It is time to stop focusing on death and begin to focus on God, LIFE! We must try to remember that He owns our bodies, He made our bodies, and, therefore, we must change our way of thinking about our bodies; the way we talk about our bodies, the way we torture our bodies with food, exercise, stress and strain, and the way we look at and see ourselves, (our bodies), in the mirror.  

Friends, change is in dire order if a good portion of your life is spent being unhappy with YOU; who you are and how you were made.  So, let's begin to live out the way God has made us.  Let's see our bodies the way that God made them: perfect!!  And, most of all, remember this: our bodies are God's and made by God, and He makes no imperfect being. 

You are beautiful!  Now, begin to live and believe like it!!!

He will be your voice.

I know what it is like to be intimidated, to feel weak, to be afraid, to want to run and hide; yes, I know how these feelings can tear you down, inside and out.  However, like God spoke to Jeramiah, He’s speaking to you, saying, “You are not un-qualified, you are not too weak, you are not too short, too fat, too ugly… No, you are My child!  Therefore, you are qualified, you are strong, you are beautiful, you are amazing, and you are blessed; do not let their faces, actions, attitudes frighten you in any sort of fashion.  NO, my child, you keep moving forward, you keep following Me, and you will be rewarded more than those cynics could ever expect to be.”.

Friends, God gives us gifts we don’t even know about yet.  So, if you feel that you are moving in the direction that God wants you to go, then keep moving and keep doing; He will put the words in your mouth when you need them, and He will put the actions in your heart when the time comes to use them.

God won’t let you down – He won’t let you fail!

Eyes wide open

When you ask God to open your eyes, you will have a whole new regard for the meaningful and beautiful life in which you’ve been blessed by God to live.

Men and women are made for each other, to stand together as a team, in equality; together, the two glorify and magnify God - life is blessed and beautiful.  However, when one acts superior to another, pride and racism are magnified and glorified - life is dark and destructive.  

Therefore, stand together, and God will bring blessings and beauty to the two, which no one man or woman, nor pride or racism, can ever experience alone.

Hand crafted

“… Behold, as the clay is in the potters hand, so are you in my hand…” Jeremiah 18:6

Do you know how special you are?  God loves you so much! He’s shaping you, forming you, molding you into the person that He’s put you here to be - hand crafting the very purpose He’s put you here to fulfill.  Therefore, embrace your life, embrace who you are, and, although you may not know your purpose yet, you will!  And, boy oh boy, once you do, you will experience His miraculous glory in amazing brilliance every step of the way!

Yes, my friend, you are important, you have meaning, you are God’s child, and you are loved beyond imagination.

Arise and Shine

Oh, my friends! Today is a beautiful new day in Christ – a fresh, new day, and a fresh new you! So, wake up, put on the new you; throw out the old you, because God wants to do amazing, new things in your life! Yes, take the bold steps of faith and He will carry you the rest of the way.

Commit to no more depression, darkness, and pain – let it go, lift your arms to Heaven, receive Him into your heart, and let His light and glory overtake you in a way that goes beyond all comprehension!
