How to become a better you

“… Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering…
… go ahead and be what you were made to be, without enviously or pridefully comparing yourself with each other, or trying to be something you aren’t.
…. Love from the center of who you are; don’t fake it…
… Don’t burn out; keep yourself fueled and aflame. … pray all the harder…
… Bless your enemies; no cursing under your breath. Laugh with your happy friends when they’re happy; share tears when they’re down…
Make friends with nobodies; don’t be the great somebody…
…discover beauty in everyone…
…. Don’t let evil get the best of you; get the best of evil by doing good.”
Adapted from Romans 12

If you have time, take some time to read the whole chapter – it can be life-changing and eye-opening to those of us that have forgotten our reasons for being and loving.
Not only that, it will help you become an even better you:  God’s amazing child – God’s amazing steward

There's only one way to bear fruit - be great - in this life of ours.

"... you can't bear fruit unless you are joined with me [Jesus]."  John 15:4

There's only One Way to greatness in this life of ours: Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.  Therefore, stay focused on him in all things, in all ways, and nothing less than greatness is yours to be had.

Proud of the way God made you

“… If you walk around with your nose in the air, you’re going to end up flat on your face.  But if you’re content to be simply yourself, you will become more than yourself.” Luke 14:10-11 MSG

Be yourself – simply yourself: beautiful, bright, and proud to be just the way God made you.

Be the person God has made you to be

“Keep your foot [give your mind to what you are doing] … Be not rash with your mouth… let your words be few… when you vow a vow or make a pledge to God, do not put off paying it…[and] do not allow your mouth to cause your body to sin…” Ecclesiastes 5:1-2, 4-6

In essence:
Stay focused, think before you speak, and follow through on your promises. Yes, it is time to clean out the nonsense in your life, get right before God, and begin to be the person that God has made you to be!!
