Look who's knocking

"If you had done the right thing, you would be smiling. But you did the wrong thing, and now sin is waiting to attack you like a lion. Sin wants to destroy you,
but don't let it! "

Genesis 4:7  CEV

When we sin, we immediately open the door to Satan and all of his glory. Therefore, when we sin (and we all sin), then we must immediately - IMMEDIATELY- turn to God: repent, release, reform, and restore our hearts to Him.  In doing so we will heal our conscience, cleanse ourselves of ungodliness, and refresh our darkened souls;  we will slam the door in Satan's face and our strength will be restored, enabling us to move forward, stronger than ever, for the goodness and glory of God.

Do not lose heart - do not give up!

"Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
-2 Corinthians 4:16

'To renew your mind, you're going to have to let go of the old attitudes, the old thought patterns, the old images that you have been living with so you can put on the new garments God has for you.' ~ The Daniel Plan Journal

Thoughts run our lives

"Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life" Proverbs 4:23

Take a moment to carefully think about what, or who, has been running your life lately.  Is worry, fear, gratitude, love, anger, hatred, life, man, GOD...???   Is it time to restart, refresh, and re-think... it is time to dig back into God and His Word.

Change starts in your thinking, therefore, first thing, everyday, open your eyes, thoughts, and prayers to God through the power of His Word and His spirit which dwells on the inside of you.  The moment you focus more on Him, the less you will focus on you, and the more your life will brighten, shine, and energize; the more your life will help impact those around you, and in turn, impacts those around them, spreading the glory of Jesus nice and brightly for all the world to share and see.

Accept, release, renew

“… But you have to face it, to accept the shame of your obscene and vile life…” Ezekiel 16:53-58 MSG

Harsh words I know, however, when it comes to sin you must accept responsibility, release them to God, and let him renew your life:  Accept, release, and renew – it is time my friend.

Refreshed and restored

Tired, worn down, hurt, sad, angry, upset, broken, frustrated, filled with darkness?  Yes?

Well, a new you starts today:

God will create a new thing in your life!
He will restore your tired body;
He will restore your tired soul.
(adapted from Jer. 31:21-24)

So grab hold and hold on tight, God is going to take you into the land of the living: a land filled with blessings and miracles just for you.

Believe in Him, surrender to Him, love Him, praise Him... He loves you so much.

Acknowledge your sin

Psalm 32:5 New International Version
Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD." And you forgave the guilt of my sin.

Call out to God, repent for your sins, and let God clean and clear the slate of your life.  Your life will refresh, your burdens will lighten, and your heart will be free to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
