Defiance against God.

"But the person, native, or foreigner, who sins defiantly, deliberately blaspheming God, must be cut off from his people: He has despised God's word, he has violated God's command; that person must be kicked out of the community, ostracized, left alone in his wrongdoings." Numbers 15:30-31, The Message

Defiance of God and His Word only brings calamity on ones own-self, and on loved ones.  So, tread extremely lightly my friend if you knowingly decide to sin, because the sin you commit will, (and let me emphasize will), without fail, come back and bite you right in the fanny.

When you go into battle

“… When you go to war against an aggressor blow a long blast on the bugle so that God will notice you and deliver your from your enemies…” Numbers 10:8-10, The Message

When hard times, and/or hard people, come against you, shout out to God, cry out to God, open your mouth and speak to God – He will hear you , He will come running, and He will redeem you.  When hard times, and/or hard people, come against you, don’t fight them in your own self – let God fight for you.   

Yes, my friend, when you let God fight your battles, you can move on and enjoy the rest of your life knowing that victory is guaranteed!!

Remember: Not by your might or strength, but by the Spirit of God. (Zechariah 4:6)

You won't have to do it alone

“… I’ll take some of the spirit that is on you and place it on them; they’ll then be able to take some of the load of this people – you won’t have to carry the whole thing alone.”  Numbers 11:16-17, The Message

When life is weighing you down with obligation and burden, cry out to God – He will send you the people and/or resources you need to help you carry the load.

 

When to move and when to stay.

“… The People of Israel marched at God’s command and they camped at his command… Night or day, it made no difference – when the cloud lifted they marched… as long as the cloud was there, they were there…” Numbers 9:17-23, The Message

When God speaks to us (each our own uniquely different ways) then we must move, or we must stay.  Yes, when God speaks to us, we don’t need to waste our precious time questioning, pondering, or analyzing what He is saying – we must only do it!  My friends, God is one we never doubt, He is always right, and He will never lead us in the wrong direction.  Therefore, do what He tells you to do and don’t do what He tells you not to do.

God bless you and keep you...

Like Aaron prayed for the Israelites, I pray this to you:

“God bless you and keep you,

God smile on you and gift you,

God look you full in the face

And make you prosper.”

If you live by my decrees and obediently keep my commandments, I will...

"If you live by my decrees and obediently keep my commandments, I will send rain in their seasons, the ground will yield its crops and the trees of the field their fruit... you will have more than enough to eat and will safe and secure in your land.  I will make the country a place of peace - you'll be able to sleep at night without fear; I'll get rid of wild beasts; I'll eliminate war.  You'll chase out your enemies and defeat them... WOW - all this and all we have to do is be the kind of people that God wants us to be: loving, kind, honest, peaceful, hard-working, loyal, able, selfless, humble, giving, and devoted to Him.  My goodness, God is easy - we, the people, have really gone and made this life almost impossible.  Why?  Well, whatever our reasons, change begins with you and me.  So, one person at a time: it's time to get our lives back and live in freedom - live the way that God intended us to live in the first place.

Just do what God's Word says to do

“Keep my decrees and observe my laws and you will live secure in the land…”  Leviticus 25:18-22

Why do we go in and make our lives so complicated and stress-filled?   If we would just do what God’s Word tells us to do, our lives would be so much better off.  Hmmm...maybe some changes need to be made… do you agree?

Because He is God, your God

“Set yourselves apart for a holy life.  Live a holy life, because I am God, your God.  Do what I tell you; live the way I tell you… I am God, your God, who has distinguished you from the nations.  So live like it…” Leviticus 20:7-8, 24-26, The Message

Stop the nonsense and just do what God tells you to do - live the way God tells you to live!!  My friend, your life is too precious to waste any more time not getting anywhere.

 

Be holy because God is holy.

 

"... I am God who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.  be holy because I am holy." Leviticus 11:44-45, The Message

In other words:  God gave us His one and only son, Jesus, to die on the cross for us just so we could live.  Therefore, in thankfulness, love, honor, and humility, we need to do our best to be holy - wholesome, loving, honorable, faithful, joy-filled, and peace-filled Christians.

The glory of God

"... and the Glory of God appeared to all people..." Leviticus 9:22-24, The Message

The Glory of God is for us all - each of us experiencing His presence in our own unique and different ways - there is no one certain way to experience God.  Therefore, no matter what Christian denomination one practices, all of us need to stand together as one so that we can shine with the glory of God loudly, proudly, and for all the world to see.

Give your life, daily, as an offering to God

"... Take your everyday, ordinary life... and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him.  Don't become so well adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking.  Instead, fix your attention on God.  You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you and quickly respond to it... God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you." Romans 12:1-2

 

Take yourself and your life out of this world, and give it, daily, over to God.  If you do, you will find that there is more to life than you have ever thought imaginable or possible.

Just as God commands

“… they had done all the work just as God commanded. “… and the glory of God filled the Dwelling.” Exodus 39:42-43 & 40:34-35, The Message

When you do what God tells you to do, the way He tells you to do it, and how He tells you to do it, you can rest assured that His glory will fill your work and fill it for many in the world to see.

 

Whom God has gifted

“… whom God had gifted with the ability…” Exodus 36:2-3, The Message

Each of us have natural gifts, talents, and abilities that we were born with; things we never had to be taught.  Those are the gifts, talents, and abilities given to us by God; those are the gifts, talents, and abilities that each of us need to be actively using to help glorify and grow the kingdom of God.  So, let me ask, what are your natural gifts, talents, and abilities, (and remember, no gift is too small, no talent too silly, and no ability not needed), so, what are yours?  Are you actively using them?  If not, then now would be a good time to start.  Therefore, seek God prayerfully, and with your whole heart, and He will lead you into the direction where you special-ness is much needed.

Stay vigilant

“Stay vigilant.  Don’t let down your guard lest you make covenant with the people who live in the land… and they trip you up.”  Exodus 34:10-12, The Message

In today’s terms:  Stay vigilant in Christ.  Don’t let your guard down for a second, otherwise the devil may come in and steal your soul.

 

Gods presence

God said, “My presence will go with you.  I’ll see the journey to the end.”  Exodus 33:14, The Message

Not a moment of our lives goes by where God is not with us.  Therefore, we can keep moving forward in confidence knowing God is right there with us every step of the way.

Skills

"... I've given the skills to make all the things I've commanded you..." Exodus 31: 6-11,  

The Message

It doesn't matter who you are, where you come from, how much money you have, or don't have, when God leads to do something, He will make sure you have the skills to get it done.  

Therefore, be bold and follow God's lead without losing heart, and, remember, when you get to a point that you don't think you have the ability to accomplish what you've set out to do, cry out to God, He'll step in and give you, or give you someone, with the ability to do what needs to be done.

God will move in.

"... I'll move in and live with the Israelites.  I'll be their God...." Exodus 29:42-48,  

The Message  

When you open your heart to God, He moves in and dwells within you.  So, those of you that believe in our Almighty, know that He is living within you, and He is at your beckon call, which brings me to remind you: you must call on Him in order for Him to answer.  Remember, God is a gentleman, and unless you call on Him, He sits quietly back and waits.

There are Angels ahead of you.

“Now get  yourselves ready.  I’m sending my Angel ahead of you to guard you in your travels, to lead you to the place that I’ve prepared.”  Exodus 23:20-24

Not only is God with us, but He has angels protecting our paths as well, which means, when God leads, we cannot go wrong.  So, have no fear when you feel the call of God leading you in a new direction, He’s got the path before you clear and guarded, and all you have to do is follow it…. Now, get moving!

Everywhere God is.

“… Every place where I cause my name to be honored in your worship, I’ll be there myself and bless you.”  Exodus 20:22-26

Honor God wherever you are, and honor Him often.  Because, wherever you honor Him, He is right there with you.  And, wherever He is, is where favor, anointing, blessing, peace, love, healing, and strength will be as well.

No more burn out!

“… This is no way to go about it.  You’ll burn out…  This is way too much for you – you can’t do this alone…  Keep a sharp eye out for competent men – men who fear God, men of integrity, men who are incorruptible… They will share your load and that will make it easier for you.  If you handle the work this way, you’ll have the strength to carry out whatever God commands you, and the people in their settings will flourish also.”  Exodus 18:17-23, The Message

Some of us aren’t so good at asking for help, which means, some of us are really good at burning out.  Well, life is just too short!  God has a big plan for our lives and burning out is not one of them.  So, next time we feel we have the world packed on our shoulders, let’s start finding good women and men of God to lend a helping hand.  They are out there, and with prayer and patience, we will find them.  Not only that, when we ask for help, we are giving another person a chance to shine in their field, which helps us to shine even brighter in ours, and that is definitely something we can all use more of.

True friends

“… but Moses’ hands got tired.  So they got a stone and set it under him.  He sat on it and Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on each side…” Exodus 17:10-13, The Message

A true friend lifts you up when you are down, listens when you need to talk, talks when you need to listen, sticks with you through the tough times, and celebrates with you in good times and milestones.  A true friend will stand by your side in the heat of a battle and sit with you in silence, when words need not be said.  A true friend prays for your often and encourages you to follow your dreams.  A true friend is a blessing; a true gift from God sent just for you.  Therefore, a true friend is someone to embrace and hold on to for life.

Complaining gets you nowhere

“… you haven’t been complaining against us, you know, but against. God.” Exodus 16:6-7, The Message

God has reasons for every action, word, and thought that comes out of every human; and with that said, He is God, so He owes no explanation to you as to why He has let it been done, said, or thought of.  So, remember, when you complain, your complaint isn’t towards a man or woman, your complaint is against God, which gets you absolutely nowhere; and in turn, does you absolutely no good.  Therefore, turn your complaints around and make them positives – there is a way, all you have to do is ask God how it can be done.  Otherwise, if you continue to complain, your complaint(s) just might end up coming back to bite you in the butt.

The battles are not yours to fight

"Don't be afraid.  Stand firm and watch God do his work of salvation today... God will fight the battle for you..." Exodus 14:13-14, +The Message

What battle in your life is leaving you frozen in fear?  Is there something or someone holding you back from breaking free into the life that you know you are called to live?   If so, and I believe we all have some sort of battle we are facing, then I think it is about time we break free - how about you?  Well, there is only One  solution to our fears, and His mighty name is God.  Therefore, let us hand our battle(s) over to Him right now - let Him take our fear(s) and turn them into His glory by leading us in triumph to where we are supposed to be. 

Release your battles over to God, and the moment you do, raise your hands in victory - you are now ready to cross over into the amazing life He has set aside just for you.

 

When God commands it

"The Israelites then went and did what God had commanded..." Exodus 12:28, The Message

When God commands it, follow the likes of the Israelites, and just DO IT!!  I guarantee, it is in your best interest to do so.

God is in the right

“… God is in the right and my people are in the wrong…” Exodus 9:27-28

God is never, ever wrong, and His word never, ever fails.  So, trying to persuade yourself or someone else otherwise is a complete waste of precious, life-breathing time.  So, make it easy on yourself and do what He says to do, as well as, honor the words written in His Word.
