God will...

I am God… I will rescue you from slavery.  I will redeem you… I’ll bring you into the land that I promised to give Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and give it to you as your own country.  I am God.”  Exodus 6:6-8

God will rescue you!

God will redeem you!

God will bless you!

So, stand tall, hang in there, and know that God is on your side.  And, for those who wrong God’s precious child, boy-oh-boy do they have an eye opening, life-changing, and God-fearing moment getting ready to stop them smack dab in their tracks.

God will be with you every step of the way

“… I am the God of your father.  Don’t be afraid of going down to Egypt.  I am going to make you a great nation there.  I’ll go with you…” Genesis 46:3-4, The Message

Whatever direction you follow, if you feel it’s the right one, you are at peace with it, and it is in good faith, then not to worry, God is with you and He will be with you every step of the way; blessed and prosperous you will be.

Who do you think made you?

God said, “And who do you think made the human mouth? And who makes some mute, some deaf, some sighted, some blind?  Isn’t it I, God?  So, get going, I’ll be right there with you – with your mouth!  I’ll be right there to teach you what to say.” Exodus 4:11-12

God made you in perfection!  God made you exactly as you are for a reason.  With God, you have no handicap, you have no flaws, you are not a minority, and you have no imperfections.  So, set out and do what your heart (God) is leading you to do.  Like the passage says, God will be right there with you, teaching you, speaking through you, and giving you the anointing to do what the world says is impossible for you to do.

 

A good land with wide open spaces

God said… “I’ve heard their cries for deliverance… I know about their pain.  And now I have come down to help them… bring them to a good land with wide open spaces, a land lush with milk and honey…” Exodus 3:7-8, The Message

Hold on, God is with you!  Soon, this pain you are going through will be a turned into a blessing that even the devil cannot deny.  Soon the handiwork of God is going to be glorified in your life.

Backfire

"... Don't you see, you planned evil against me but God used those same plans for my good..." Genesis 50:19-21, The Message 

No need to repay evil for evil, because when you wait on God, He will make sure that all evil planned against you backfire on those who planned it in the first place.

God is part of it all

“… God was behind it…” Genesis 45:4-8, The Message

Whatever has happened, will happen, and is happening, are all part of God’s great plans for your life.  Whether it seem good or bad, big or small, God is involved; God has reasons for everything, and when you His child, all of His reasons work out in greatness.

So, stand tall and know that your life is absolutely amazing – God wouldn’t let you have anything less.

 

May the Strong God give you grace

May God give you peace, joy, and love in plenty.  May He glorify your life and shine through with favor and blessing.  May you be free from fear in all areas of your life, and may you be healed of all affliction and disease.

Finally, through the good and through the bad, “… may the Strong God give you grace.” (Genesis 43:11-14, The Message).

To Him belong all the praise

Joseph answered, “Not I, but God.  God will…” Genesis 41:16, The Message

Always remember that you are not the reason that your life is great, that you have many blessings, that you have gifts and talents unlike many others, and/or that you can accomplish the impossible, it is the living God within you, to which all of these belong and are given to you because He loves you so much.  Therefore,to Him belongs all the praise and glory.

 

God will work everything out for good

“… whatever he did God made sure it worked out for the best.”

Genesis 39:19-23, The Message

When you give your life to Christ, He comes in and takes over.  And when He comes in and takes over, no matter what you do, if it is with a humble heart and/ or repented upon, He will make it work out in your favor – blessing upon blessing will be yours for the taking.

Therefore, give your life to God, repent for your wrongs, walk in love, and let Him do what He does best: glorify the life in which you’ve been given, and make all things in your life work out for your good.

Never mess with God!

"... Er, grievously offended God and God took his life."  Genesis 38:6-7, The Message, Pg. 69

It's not smart to mess with God.  Remember, He always wins and He will not let anyone or anything mock Him.

First we must ask!

"God revealed himself once again... and blessed him..." Genesis 35:9-10, The Message

You may think you've asked God for way too much and have been way too blessed for Him to come and bless you again and again, but, you, my friend, are wrong.  He doesn't just bless each of us once and then we are on our own.  No, He blesses each one of us over and over again because He loves us all so much!  However, there is one little catch, (I know, you knew this was coming, but don't worry, this isn't difficult. I promise this is something we can all do)... first, WE MUST ASK!   

So, ask, because God promises : “Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find..." (Matthew 7:7) - and God's promises never, ever, fail us.!!

When I saw your face...

“… When I saw your face, it was as the face of God smiling on me.” Genesis 33:10-11,  The Message, Pg 63

God puts people in our lives every day.  Take time to acknowledge each and every one of them.  Look each person you come across today (and every day) in the eye because God has put them in your path for a reason.  No, you may not know why, nor will you ever know why, but somehow and someway, there is a purpose.

Friends, we aren’t taking enough time for each other anymore, and the consequences are showing all around us.  So, take time to make contact with people today.  You never know, your smile - your hello - may just be what they need to keep from selling their souls to the devil.

 

People may change

“… I notice that your father has changed toward me… But the God of my father; he’s still with me…” Genesis 31:4-9, The Message

People may change, but God will never change.  Through thick and thin, good and bad, light and dark, and the ups and downs, God is with you – always the same, always the One to count on.  So, grab hold of Him and don’t let go ~  He is the only true Rock, and holding on to Him is the same as holding on to life.

People and things are bound to change, but God never, ever, will.

When life isn't fair, God is!

When God realized that Leah was unloved, he opened her womb…” Genesis 18:31, The Message, Pg. 56

Watch out!  When God realizes you aren’t being fairly treated, blessed, loved, or honored, He’ll come in and pour out His blessing so abundantly over you that the world will have to step back because you’ll be blinding them with the glory of God from within.

Wherever you go

God is always before you – protecting you, guiding you.  So, put your guard down and open your eyes - look for Him, listen for Him; He is with you, holding you, blessing you, and making all paths before you straight. 

Then God was right before him, saying, “… Yes, I’ll stay with you, I’ll protect you wherever you go…” Genesis 28:13-15, The Message, Pg. 55

Fear? There is no fear with God

“… Don’t fear a thing because I am with you…”

Genesis 26:24, The Message, Pg. 51

Fear is for those that choose to ignore the Lord, not for those that love, live, worship, adore, and honor God.  Fear is a state of mind one lives in when God isn’t put first in their life; it is a state of darkness that always leaves one looking over their shoulder for the enemy to destroy their life. 

However, to one that fears God, and God alone, fear need not be any worry, God has your back, and He has your victory awaiting ahead of you – fear is nothing for you to waste precious time over.

When it is God's decision...

... "This is totally from God.  We have no say in the matter..."... Genesis 24:50-51, The Message, Pg. 48

When God makes a decision, don't fight it - your chances of winning are zero!  

When God opens your eyes.

"Just then God opened her eyes...".  Genesis 21:19, The Message, Pg 43

When you focus on, and live for, God, He will make sure you never miss your blessings, answers, or new directions.

God's got your back

“God said to him in the dream, “Yes, I know your intentions were pure, that’s why I kept you from sinning against me…”  Genesis 20:6-7, The Message, Pg 41

Don’t worry on making mistakes – if your heart and intentions are pure, God’s got your back.

 

Is anything too hard for God?

“God said to Abraham, … Is anything too hard for God?...” Genesis 18:13-14, The Message, Pg. 38

And, the answer is,

NO!  NEVER!!

Therefore, stop doubting and start believing!!

Don't be afraid my friend

“… Don’t be afraid, Abram.  I am your shield.  Your reward will be grand…”

Genesis 15:1, The Message

Like Abram (Abraham), when you are following and listening to God to the best of your heart-felt ability, then you, too, need not be afraid.  God’s got a grand plan for you, and if you will hang in there, through the good and the bad, His plan for you will magnificently fall into place at the most appropriate time in your life!!

So, don’t lose sight of God and his plan for you; keep moving forward – I guarantee God will make it  amazing… He always does.

Family is family

“Abram said to Lot, “Let’s not have fighting between us…  After all, we’re family…” Genesis 13:8-9, The Message, Pg 33

Family quarrels are bound to happen, but family quarrels ought to be settled quickly.  Family is family, and family’s need to stick together.   So, if you and your loves one(s) are in a quarrel, maybe it’s time to turn the other cheek; start declaring blessings over each other, do what needs to be done to make amends, and start standing together as one!  It is time!

When you listen to God...

"God told Abram: "Leave your country, your family, and your father's home for a land that I will show you. I'll make you a great nation and bless you.  I'll make you famous; you'll be a blessing.  I'll bless those who bless you; those who curse you I'll curse.  All the families of the Earth will be blessed through you." You are a reflection of God

You started as dirt...

“… you started out as dirt, you’ll end up dirt.” 

Genesis 3, The Message, Pg. 24

What this verse tells me is:  We are all equal, no one is superior to another, and stinginess will lead nowhere!

 

God created you.

“God created human beings: he created them godlike, perfecting God’s nature.  He created them male and female.  God blessed them: “Prosper! Reproduce! Fill the Earth! Take charge!...” 1 Genesis, The Message, pg 21

God created you!  God created you in His nature; you are a reflection of God.  Therefore, stop wasting away this precious life of yours!  Stand tall and live with the character and authority God has given you: Prosper, reproduce, fill the Earth, take charge!

 

First, God!

“First, God.  God is the subject of life.  God is foundational for living.  If we don’t have a sense of the primacy of God, we will never get it right, get life right, get our lives right.  Not God at the margins; not God as an option; not God on the weekends.  God at the center and the circumference; God first and last; God, God, God.”  The Message, Genesis Pg. 18

If God isn’t part of your life – first in your life – then you aren’t really living a life!!
