He is near

“The Lord upholds all those who are falling and raises up those who are bowed down…[yes,] the Lord is near to all who call upon Him.” Psalm 145: 14, 18

Unless you call on God and ask Him to come into your life and help you, He won’t - God is not a pushy God!  So, CALL on Him now and let Him come into your heart, mind, body, and soul – your life will dramatically change for the better, and life will take on a whole new meaning.

 

Use your voice.

“I cry to the Lord with my voice; with my voice to the Lord do I make supplication.” Psalm 142:1

Talk to God! Talk to Him openly, honestly, and whole-heartedly – He is listening! Make Him the first one you go to in all situations, in all circumstances, because He truly listens - He truly understands, and if necessary, (and in His way and His timing), He will respond.  So, make God your best friend, your number one confidante, and enjoy the world around you as it becomes a much brighter, much happier, much more peaceful and loving place to be.

Keeping guard.

“Set a guard, O Lord, before my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips.  Incline my heart not to submit or consent to any evil thing…” 

Psalm 141:3,4

If each of us can pray this prayer, receive this prayer, and act on this prayer, then the world would have one less wicked scheme, word, or deed to put up with!

So, commit yourself to this prayer from this day forward and see if it doesn’t help change the world around you (for the better)!!

Nothing is hidden from God

Where could I go from Your Spirit?  Or where could I flee from Your presence?... Even the darkness hides nothing from you…” Psalm 139:7, 12

Whether you plan good or evil, speak blessing or curse; whether your thoughts and actions are secret or well known, GOD KNOWS and He will intervene.  So, double check your intentions, thoughts, actions, and words so that when He intervenes, He lifts you up high and thrusts you forward into amazing blessings, not to stop you dead in your tracks – falling face first into the mud.

Our concerns matter to God

 

“The Lord will perfect that which concerns me…” Psalm 138:7,8

Your concerns matter so much to the Lord! He doesn’t want you to live life worried, afraid, tormented, confused and upset.  No, He wants you to live a peace-filled, love-filled, joy-filled, and wisdom-filled life.  So, take all of your concerns to God and let Him turn them into peaceful and calm thoughts; thoughts full of grace, mercy, confidence, hope, and blessings.

What are idols?

What are idols? They are, 

"... silver and gold, the work of men's hands, [idols] have mouths, but speak not; eyes have they, but they see not; ... ears but hear not..." Psalm 135:15-17

Idols are useless, of no value, and full of nonsense; idols wither away in any storm, and they care nothing about you, your life, your welfare, nor your well-being. There is only one Idol, His name is Jesus, and He cares about you, your welfare, and your well-being.  As a matter of fact, He died on the cross just for you!

So, get rid of idols that come and go in the blink of an eye, and give your life to Christ!  He promises to never leave you nor forsake you; His promises will never fail you and never let you down.  Yes, God is a ROCK, and He is yours for the asking and receiving.

Praise God - Hallelujah!!  Amen and Amen again.

Keeping account of our sins

"If you, Lord, should keep account and treat [us according to our] sins... who could stand?"

Surely, not you and I...BUT, 

"... there is forgiveness with You... mercy and loving-kindness... " Psalm 130:3, 4, 7 

God is so good to us! He loves us so much.  My goodness, after all we have done, and will do, wrong, He still stands for us and leads us into victory and righteousness,all the while, forgiving our sins and wrong-doings.

   

No, we don't deserve any of the amazing blessings God grants us, but He gives us love that goes beyond our understanding. Therefore, accept His love, forgiveness, victory, mercy, loving-kindness, and grace with open arms - they are yours for the taking my friend.

Trust in, lean on, and confidently hope in the Lord

"Those who trust in, lean on, and confidently hope in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abides and stands fast forever." Psalm 125:1

The world will fail us, but God will never fail us! Instead of letting yourself be let down by the world, begin putting 100% of all you are and all you have into the Lord, and then you will learn the true meaning of trust, hope, honesty, and stability. 

Yes - Praise God.

Our help comes from the Lord

"...help comes from the Lord... He will not allow your foot to slip or to be moved... The Lord will keep you from evil; He will keep your life, the Lord will keep your going out and your coming in... " Psalm 121:2-8

The Lord will, and is, with you - ALWAYS!! You never have to worry, you never have to be afraid, and you are never alone!  You are God's child and you will shine with His light now and forevermore!  Amen !! Praise God!!

Great peace in God's Word

“Great peace have they who love Your law; nothing shall offend them or make them stumble.” Psalm 119:165

When we fall in love with Jesus, and dedicate ourselves to learning, doing, and honoring His commands, then, like the Word says, we will (and are) free of any offense and nothing, or nobody, will be able to cause us to stumble – God is carrying us all the way through!  Praise Him - AMEN

Light and understanding in His Word

“The entrance and unfolding of Your words gives light; their unfolding gives understanding…” Psalm 119:130

Those that don’t take time to read and learn and do the Word of God lose out on The Light that brings clarity, understanding, hope, revelation, joy, peace, and love [ The Light being, Jesus Christ] this is why there are so many in our world living dreadful, fearful, anxiety-filled, monotonous, helpless, hopeless lives.

Friends, God’s Word is light in the darkness, joy in the hurt, peace in the storm, fearlessness in the unknown, and love for the unlovable; God’s Word IS our livelihood; a must for those of us that want to live.  Therefore, make time for God and His Word; let Him speak life into you so that you can experience the amazing transformation from deep within your soul.

Oh how good and mighty He truly is!!

 

The secret to renewal, luminosity, and vitality.

"Your word has revived me and given me life... Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." Psalm 119:50, 105

God's word gives you LIFE; a renewed energy to move forward, a light in your darkest hours, and guidance that shuns all confusion. 

Yes, His Word is your sure foundation, and with it deeply rooted in your mind, body, and soul, you will be able to leave a life-legacy of victories that shuts the mouths of even the most cynical of unbelievers.

You will live!

"The Lord is my strength and song... my salvation... [therefore,] I shall not die but live..." Psalm 118: 14,17

No matter the odds against us, or whatever situation or circumstance or life-changing news we face, if we stand firm in our faith to the Lord and His mighty Word, then He will give us the strength we need to move forward, the words we need to stay determined, and the saving grace we need to live out our victory!

My friends, when you have God in your mind, heart, and on your lips, then you will LIVE! Your victory will come to pass.

The land of the living

 

 "I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living." Psalm 116:9

God's children are not to be living depressed, discouraged, hopeless, helpless lives! 

We are alive: full of  zeal, courage, strength, hope, faith, love, honor, blessing, favor, healing, wholeness, and most of all CHRIST.  Yes, God has given us LIFE; we are lights in this dark world! So, let us not waste one more moment - we are His blessed ones, therefore, let's live like it!

Got wisdom? Need skill?

“The reverential fear and worship of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and skill…” Psalm 111:10

Do you want wisdom and skill beyond the worlds wisdom and skill?  All you have to do is turn your life, heart, and mind to the Lord and He will make sure you get all that you could ever need, hope for, or imagine.

No matter what situation

the devil throws our way, we can always stand tall and strong  knowing that God is right here with us – Hallelujah!
Therefore, at the most perfect time, and in the most perfect place, He will save us from our afflictions, leaving those around us standing in utter amazement and wonder.

 

When God's children cry out.

God loves us so very much! No matter who you are, or what you’ve done, God will forgive you, receive you, love you, and redeem you.

If you haven’t already, ask the Lord to come into your heart and forgive you of your sins – He will!!  He is ready and willing and able to give you a brand new life!

Joy, gladness, and singing

“And He brought forth His people with joy, and His chosen ones with gladness and singing.” Psalm 105:43

 

We are God’s people; we are hand-picked by Him! Thus, through all the challenges that we face and every obstacle we endure, we can remain at peace, knowing that we will joyfully conquer any obstacle, with gladness in our hearts and singing on our lips.

Bless the Lord...forget not all His benefits...

What does God do for those that reverentialy fear and worship Him? Oh my goodness - way too much to list in one lifetime, so here are just a few:

He forgives your iniquities, removes your transgressions as far as the East is from the West,  heals your diseases, redeems your life from corruption and death, renews the life within you, showers you with mercy and grace, ... (adapted from Psalm 103)

My friends, what He does for us is amazing, beautiful, undeserved, under-appreciated, unimaginable, yet He never stops showering them upon us.  He is so good, and therefore, we should take every opportunity to praise, worship, and bless His holy name.

Know that the Lord is God!

"Know that the Lord is God! It is He who made us, not we ourselves.  We are His people and the sheep of His pasture." Psalm 100:3

We are here because God let's us be! He is in charge; we do not control our lives, He does!  So, with this being said, those of us that refuse to act like His children, nor take care of the world He has so graciously let us live in, can and will be removed, and it probably won't be pleasant!

Therefore, remember Whose you belong to -live, act, and think like it...

your life depends on it!

Just listen already!

“Oh, that My people would listen to Me… speedily then I would subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their adversaries.”

Psalm 81:13-14

The harder you try to be in control, the longer it is going to take to get where you want to go.  It is due time to let God take over.  So, close off your mind to yourself and open it up to God; listen to what He has to say, do what He is telling you to do, and start taking the time to enjoy the fruits of the choices He prompts you to make.
