Boundaries and borders in our lives; do you have them?

Do you have boundaries and borders in your life?  Do you truly know that you need them?  Want to know how to get some?  Then, here is the answer:

"And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all His commandments... " Deuteronomy 28:1

Want to know what will happen if you take heed to the verse above?  Well, here is a glimpse:

"...the Lord your God will set you high above the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord... Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field.  Blessed shall be the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground and the fruit of your cattle, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock.  Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out." 

Deuteronomy 28:2-6

And that's just the beginning; finish reading through to verse 68 and focus on the amazing blessings that God will give you if you follow His command: 

Faithfully obey, and do all His commandments.

Years ago I heard a saying, "Five positives to one negative", and after reading this verse, I've realized that I tend to pray five complaints, upsets, struggles, etc., to one prayer of thankfulness.  Um-mm, there's something wrong with this don't you think? I think i need a complete prayer make-over; what about you?

Join me in committing to pray, EVERYDAY, five thankful and grateful prayers to our one, 'help me', prayers.  Let's see how it changes our outlooks, our attitudes, and our hearts; let's see how God opens our eyes of love, peace, and joy, and closes our minds to hurt, pain, regret, worry, and the like.  Yes, I truly believe by taking on this challenge our lives our drastically going to change.

You have dominion

"You made him [you] to have dominion over the works of Your hands." Psalm 8:6

Repeat the following over and over and over until you believe it, receive it, and begin to live like it:

I am anointed!

I am special!

I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me!

I am above and not beneath!

I am the head and not the tail!

I am God's amazing child!

I will finish this race set before me and victory is mine through Christ who has already strengthened me for it!!

YES,I am because HE IS!!! 

Praise God!! Thank you Jesus!!

Hearts, emotions, thinking

Hearts, emotions, thinking

“…for You, Who tries the hearts and emotions and thinking powers are a righteous God.” Psalm 7:9

If God tested you on your heart and emotions and thinking, would you pass?  If your answer is, “No”, then some serious God time is in order my friend.

PS. Praying with thankfulness and seeking forgiveness are always a good way to start.

Blessed are the righteous

“For You, Lord, will bless the righteous; as with a shield You will surround him with good will.” Psalm 5:12

Remain focused on God; let Him reform you day by day into His righteous-type likeness.  Then His good-will, will flow more and more abundantly into your life with your every waking moment.  

 

Yes, praise God!!

Successful success

“Serve the Lord with reverent awe and worshipful fear; rejoice and be in high spirits with trembling.” Psalm 2:11

Depression, anger, pride, haughtiness and sinful living are success stoppers!!

High spirits (joy, laughter, forgiveness, humility, walking with God), are success guarantees!!

Hence, get over yourself!! Declare the joy of God over you and live it like you ain’t ever lived it before my friend!

Worth the wait; worth the pain.

When depression overtakes you, when fear torments you, or emotion cannot be found within you: shut your worldly eyes, open your spiritual eyes and see God for who He truly is; omnipresent, ever-powerful, magnificent, abundant, and oh-so merciful !  Yes, God is with you and in an (unknown) instant, you, like Job, will be restored: 

"And the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning..." (Job 42:12).

My dear friend, every ounce of mental and physical pain you are going through is going to be well worth the blessings that God will soon be showering over you!!

Our understanding vs. God's understanding

"Behold, God is great and we know Him not!... He does great things we cannot understand." 

Job 36:26; 37:5

We may not understand why we are going through challenging situations in our lives, but we can be assured that God does!

Therefore, I believe and know that we can stand back, stop trying to figure it all out, and let God do what He's going to do.

Fate of the wicked

“There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.” Job 34:22

The wicked, and their wicked schemes stand NOT a chance with God - their fate is soon to come: 

A new home smack dab in the darkest pit of Hades.

A new chapter begins

“Then [God] is gracious to him… [and his] flesh shall be restored; it becomes fresher and more tender than a child’s; he returns to the days of his youth.” +Job 33:24-25

God may allow you to go through things that you think are going to take you over the edge, when, in fact, He’s taking you to a place of new beginnings.

Hang in there - a brand new chapter is getting ready to begin.

Adultery leads one way...

“For adultery is a heinous and chief crime… a fire which consumes to Abaddon (destruction…)…” Job 31:11-12

Adultery leads to one direction:

Hell 

Where wisdom is found

“But where shall wisdom be found?... “ Job 28:12

Wisdom is found in the Father.

Get to know Him and find out for yourself

Smile, God loves you

It's not time for you to know yet.

“… who dares contemplates or who can understand the thunders of His full, magnificent power?” +Job 26:14

Do you find yourself spending too much time trying to figure out all the things that are going on in your life that you simply do not understand, (I know I am!)? If so, then maybe it’s time to step back and recognize that God knows, therefore, when it’s time for you to know, He’ll assuredly tell you! Until then, He wants you to keep moving forward in faith and live the good life that He has given you through His precious son, Jesus Christ!!

Remember, life is too short to waste on things we cannot understand ~ it is too precious.

Wisdom and Understanding come from...

There are two well-defined words in +Job 28:28, that one can thrive in life with:

WISDOM - reverential and worshipful fear of God, and

UNDERSTANDING - to depart from evil

Now, be mindful of the definitions as they are the only way to ever having both wisdom and understanding; no amount of education, IQ , money, or fame can compare.  

Fear God with all your heart; gain wisdom to survive, thrive, live,and enjoy life. 

Depart from all evil; you will come into all understanding to enable you to realize the blessings and directions for all areas of you life.

Refined as pure gold

No, you don't understand why its happening; why God isn't answering you; why you are going through the trials, but God knows! Therefore, when it's time, His time, your trials, hurts, and pains will turn into blessing, treasure, and great gains!

The fate of the wicked... (con't)

“The heavens shall reveal his iniquity, and the earth shall rise up against him.” +Job 20:27

God’s Word is proof that the wicked will not prevail ~ the wicked lose big time.

So, stay true to God and do your best to live His chosen path for your life, because it is the only way to everlasting victory.

The fate of the wicked...

The fate of the wicked…

The light of the wicked shall be put out, his steps shortened, his roots will dry up beneath him and he shall be driven out of the world.

Looks like we can stop wasting our precious time worrying over the wicked people in our lives, God has them under control; their destiny bleak.  So, step away and let God take care of them, (It is probably one you don’t want to be a part of anyway … it isn’t going to be pretty).

Useless talk is downright useless.

 

“Should he reason with unprofitable talk? Or with speeches with which he can do no good?” +Job 15:3

I’ll bet that if we start listening to ourselves in our daily conversations with others, we’d find that we spend way too much time on idle, useless talk.  So, let’s start truly listening to ourselves, and make it a point to stop ourselves from engaging in such idiotic, pathetic, useless talk!  I’ll guarantee that if we do, our lives will change in a direction that seems to be filled with a lot more blessings than we can imagine ~ and I’ll say amen to that any day!!

True wisdom and might

“But [only] with God are wisdom and might; He [alone] has [true] counsel and understanding.” +Joyce Meyers, Everyday Life Bible; +Job 12:13

Want honest counsel, understanding, wisdom, and guidance? Then, man will not do! God is the only ONE and He will help you if you passionately seek Him, Him alone.

So, seek God and then step back and experience utter amazement at the way He answers and guides you.

Who is God and what can He do for you, you ask?

God is wise in heart, and mighty in strength; He moves mountains, shakes the earth, commands the sun, and seals up the stars; He alone stretches out the heavens and treads upon the waves and the high places of the seas; He formed and made the constellations - The Bear, The Orion, and Pleiades. 

Yes, God does great things past finding out, marvelous things without numbers. He grants life and favor; His wisdom is as high as the heights of Heaven, and deeper than Sheol (death), longer in measure than earth, and broader than the seas; He recognizes and knows evil, uselessness, and iniquity.

Our God gives life, security, confidence, hope, safety, and salvation to the ones who call Him, Father. God is the, All-Righteous One,  and when you give your heart to Him, believe in the death and resurrection of His Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ, He will come running with arms open, grabbing you close to His heart, death you will fear no more, and  He will lead you into His kingdom called Heaven: 

Life everlasting.

Misfortune or miracle?

"Shall we accept [only] good at the hand of God, shall we not accept [also] misfortune...? +Job 2:10

Misfortunes will happen to all of us throughout our lives. Therefore, we must learn to accept our misfortunes for what they are, refuse to let them define us, and remember something so very important:

It is through the terrible things in our lives that make God shine through with the most redeeming, exciting, glorifying, and amazing miracles,  (specifically designed just for us).

Things

Seriously, why do we fret, cry, yell, hurt, agonize, analyze, lose sleep, lose hope, fear, cringe, despair, and work ourselves to death, over our, ‘things’?  Our, ‘things’, could be gone in a blink of any eye, so maybe it’s time we stop wasting so much time on them, and start focusing more of that time on the One who gives us, ‘things’, in the first place: Our amazing God.

Yes, the more time we focus God rather than, ‘things’, then, ‘things’, will end up having of way of working out perfectly, and in our favor, on their own – all thanks being to Him of course! Now, how awesome and freeing does that sound?

Sounds amazing to me…I’m in! You?

Don't mess with God's children!

“…Haman’s wicked scheme… return[ed] upon his own head…” +Esther 9:25

We are God’s beautiful children, and although we may not see the victory in the natural, it is there and God will make sure it is given each of us at just the right time!

Our God will not let the darkness of the world harm his children more than we can bear.  So, as His children, we need to turn the notch up on our faith and know that our victory will soon be gleaming brightly for us to take hold of and claim for our own.

Praise God! Praise God Almighty.

Light, joy, gladness, and honor

“The Jews had light and gladness and joy and honor.” +Esther 8:16

+Light, gladness, joy, honor

The Jewish people faced horrific nightmares in their time, yet they held firm to the fact that God was their vindicator and He would see them through to victory, and He did.  They pressed through and God gave them victory; light, gladness, joy, and honor.

Although you are facing, or have faced, some of the darkest hours in your life, you too have to stand firm in God; His Word and His Spirit.  He will vindicate you, He will bring the Light, and you too will be basking in gladness, joy and honor.

Yes, Hang on to God…do not let go, and do not give up! Victory is coming!!

You've waited long enough! It is time to ask.

“…What is your petition…?  It shall be granted…” +Esther 7:2

You’ve pondered, fretted, and worried over this long enough! It is time to ASK! You must remember that you are a child of God, and God will not let any man stop His plan for His child!

Yes, there is a chance of, “No”, in the natural, but God already knew that would happen, which means that there is a bigger and better, “Yes”, waiting for you just a bit further ahead.  So, don’t lose heart, and don’t give up…”YES” is on its way!

Never be too afraid to ask.

“…What is your request?  It shall be given you… “ +Esther 5:3

If you are a child of God, and you feel like you are doing what God is wanting you to do, then never, ever, not ever, be afraid to ask for it.  Ask with faith that God has already prepared their hearts, and with the belief that God will see to it that your request is granted.

Now, even if there is an initial, “No”, to your question, then it is still up to you to continue believing, continue seeking God’s guidance, and know that if it is God’s will, it will be granted at just the precise time.

God’s blessing is upon you !

Just in the nick of time

"...At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up." +Galations 6:9

When doubt, unbelief, heartache, fear, and torment are haunting you; when you feel like quitting; when you think you can't take another step forward - hang in there, DO NOT GIVE UP, and KEEP YOUR FAITH in God, because He's got your miracle, victory, and answer right around the corner.

We all go through trials in life ~ they aren't for nothing, they are for our benefit. Yes, trials are for God to perform the miraculous in our lives and for others to see that there is only ONE: Him, the King of kings and the Lord of lords.

Embrace your trials and know that God is working, there is a plan, and you are the anointed one to see it through to the amazing victory ahead.

NEVER GIVE UP ON GOD ------  NEVER!!!

Your life has meaning

If you are living on the pity-pot of life right now, then get off it!! Pronto!! Life is too short, and God has an amazing plan for you. Remember, however, you have to be the one to take the initiative, and then God will take the lead from there.

Stop thriving off of what you cannot do, your imperfections, agony, and failures, and start thriving on what you can do, have done, and what God has in store for your future!!  

You ARE His child, my friend, and that in itself should be enough to get anyone through life in joy, peace, and harmony...

YES, YOU MEAN SOMETHING!  GOD WOULD NOT HAVE BORE YOU IF YOU DIDN'T!! PLEASE KNOW THIS AND PLEASE DON'T WASTE ANY MORE O F YOUR LIFE IN DARKNESS.
