Follow what is just, uncompromisingly righteous.

"Follow what is just (uncompromisingly righteous), that you may live and inherit the land which your God gives you."
(Deuteronomy 16:20)

Want some ideas on how to live justly, uncompromisingly righteous? Well, God gives us all the info we need. Here are just a few of God's precious commands from Deuteronomy to get us moving in the right directions:

"At the end of every seven years, you shall grant a release..." (15:1) ~ After a certain period of time, you have to let certain things go.  Long enough is long enough!

"If only you carefully listen to the voice of your God, to do watchfully all [His] commandments..." (15:5) ~  Do what God prompts you to do, follow His amazing Word. Remember, God knows best and He always leads in the right directions; plus, His commands are only for our good and they lead to an abundance of love and blessings.

"When the Lord your God blesses you...then you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; and you shall rule over many nations, but they shall not rule over you." (15:6) ~ Paying off your debtors will release your from others having the upper hand.  Be the one who gives with a pure heart, and in return, respectfully rule (manage) over those who do owe (or work) for you.

"...you shall open wide your hands to your brother, to the needy, and to the poor in your land... you shall not let him go away empty handed." (15:11, 13) ~ If you have extra to give, and the ability or prompting from the Lord to do so, then DO! Do NOT be greedy, nor ever turn your back on those less fortunate.

Be blessed, live blessed, and love in abundance because you know you ARE blessed from Him who sits on the throne.
