"And He will make you high above all nations which He has made, in praise and in fame, and in honor,
and that you shall be a holy people to the Lord your God, as He has spoken." (Deuteronomy 26:19)
If this verse doesn't quite describe you and your life then I have two questions for you - honest answers only (these questions are for me to):
Are we truly, truly trying to follow all of God's commands, and walk in the ways He directs us? Are we honestly taking all necessary steps to deepen our relationships with Him?
If our answers to either question are something like, 'kind of - a little - when I can - when I have the time ...', then it is a guarantee that those half-hearted reasons are the reasons that our lives aren't moving forward in the directions we so wish they would. We need to get some priorities in place, and we better do it QUICKLY!!
My goodness, We are so blessed ~ we just need to put in some effort to realize it.
