Did you ask God first?

"... David inquired of the Lord, "Shall I pursue this raiding party?  Will I overtake them?"

"Pursue them," he answered.  "You will certainly overtake them and succeed in the rescue."

1 Samuel 30:8

When you inquire of, as well as wait on his answer, before   (emphasis on 'before') you set out on a mission, you can be guaranteed what he tells you is the truth.  Therefore, until you hear from God, stay put! If you don't, you may fall before you even begin to walk.

The key to a good and long life

“So be very careful to act exactly as God commands you.  Don’t veer off to the right or the left.  Walk straight down the road God commands so that you’ll have a good life and live a long time in the land that you’re about to possess.”  Deuteronomy 5:32-33, The Message

And there it is, the key to a long and good life:

Obey God and obey His commands.  No 30-day free trial required - God is a guarantee!
