God's house

"...for the house I am about to build shall be great and wonderful." +2 Chronicles 2:9

If you are a firm believer in our Lord and Savior #Jesus Christ than you are more than just a somebody - You are HIS house, HIS dwelling, HIS majestic home.  

Yes, if you are a firm believer in #Jesus Christ than you are not a nobody - you are HIS; full of His spirit. You are His beautiful, loving, talented, anointed home, and you are His child.

 So, begin to live like it, laugh like it, love like it, pray like it, believe it, and by all means, share it.

Riches and honor

“Both riches and honor come from You [Lord]… in Your hands are power and might… to make great and give strength to all.” +1 Chronicles 29:12

One thing is for certain, if we don’t give our lives completely into God’s hands, then we don’t have a leg to stand on in this crazy life of ours.

 

Courage and ability

“… a great search was made, and men of great courage and ability were found among them… “ +1 Chronicles 26:31

Have you ever taken into consideration that God has you going through certain trials and tribulations because out of the millions of people He searched, He knew that you were the only one with enough courage and ability to conquer them?

God believes in you, so you need to believe in you too!!

Rest and peace

“… The Lord… has given peace and rest to His people… “ 1 Chronicles 23:25

Peace and rest are ours!

Therefore, there is no need to live any other way.

No giant too big

"These were born to the giants in Gath, and they fell by the hands of David." +1 Chronicles 20:8

Even the giant of all giants cannot stand against God's children! 

PS...You are God's child! Stand tall & fear not.

God's blessing

"... for what you bless, O Lord, is blessed forever." +1 Chronicles 17:25

When we have God's blessing in our lives, then Satan has no chance in stopping us no matter how hard he tries.

Life or lifeless?

“For all the gods of the people are [lifeless] idols…” +1 Chronicles 16:26

If it isn’t God we’re following, then it isn’t life we’re living.

Play time

“… play loudly and lift up [your] voices with joy.” +1 Chronicles 15:16

Take time to play every day, even if only for a few moments, and whilst doing so have yourself some fun; laugh, sing, smile – be joyful and share it. You never know, it could be the difference in making a stranger living in hopeless despair feel the first glimmer of hope they’ve had in quite a while.

Ask. Listen. Do!

“David asked God… And the Lord said… So David did… and the Lord brought the fear of [David] upon all nations.” +1 Chronicles 14:10,16,17

Courageous women and men wanted

“… for they were mighty men of courage and became commanders.”

Godly courage puts us in the position of leading others into victory!

Greatness

“And David became greater and greater… and the Lord saved by a great victory and deliverance.” +1 Chronicles 11:9,14

When you decide to give your life to God, unexplainable and magnificent things begin to happen in your life – victory, salvation, deliverance, to name just a few.

Oh, how sweet Jesus is to us!!

Your prayers are being heard

"... they cried to God in the battle; and He granted their entreaty because they relied on, clung to, and trusted in Him." +1 Chronicles 5:20

Keep crying out to God even when it feels like your not being heard; rest assured, God IS listening! Therefore keep praying, because when He does give you the victory you've long been praying for, it will be well worth the wait!!

Sin

"So Saul died for his trespass against the Lord, for his unfaithfulness [to God]... consulting a spirit of the dead... and inquiring not so of the Lord..." +1 Chronicles 10:13-14

Sin leads to one thing: 
Death in which you can take 100% responsibility for ... hence, your very own, personal suicide.

By His stripes...

“… by His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5

God bore our sins, transgressions, hurts, pains, fears, frustrations, diseases; all of our wounds – mentally and physically. Therefore, receive His healing! Receive His wholeness! Receive His life within you!!

My friends, we are healed; we are whole.

Blessing to all

Stumped?

“You will know the truth and the truth will set you free.”

John 8:32

Stumped about situations, (absolutely anything no matter how big or small), in your life right now - physical, mental, spiritual, family related, job related, etc.? Then, the Solution is alive inside of you waiting for you to ask, waiting for you to stop trying to do it all on your own ~ The Solution is Jesus.

Stop whatever it is you are trying to do to fix it, and listen – whole-heartedly, 100%, all ears, all heart, all mind! Your Answer is before you, all you need to do is stop long enough to hear Him, receive Him ~ Jesus, our Answerer.

Praise Jesus.

 

Take them off

“…Jehiachen put off his prison garments …” 2 Kings 25:29

Because of Jesus, we are set free from our prisons: sins, worries, hang-ups, habits, hurts, anxieties, and anger.  Yes, we are new, fresh, cleansed, alive, filled with hope, filled with faith, and completely filled with love: hence, filled with Jesus. 

Therefore, dress accordingly, embrace the new you, and most of all praise sweet Jesus for it all!!

Are you doing your part?

“Surely this came upon Judah at the command of the Lord, to remove them out of His sight because of [their] sins… “ 2 Kings 24:3

If we don’t do something about our sins (especially if God has prompted us over and over again) then God will do something about them for us, and it won’t be pretty.

Therefore, before we make God upset enough to deal with our sins Himself, let’s do what God wants us to do - take the initiative and begin taking care of our sin(s) ourselves; seek forgiveness, repent, make amends, and destroy it (them)! If we take the initial steps forward to do something ourselves, then God will make sure to help us see it through to our breakthrough, and we will be another leap forward to living the glorified life that God died for us to live.

Praise Jesus!!

It is clean up day.

Bring out all sin… burn it… beat it to dust… remove it… break it… send it away!

(Adapted from 2 Kings, Chapter 23)

No more wasting precious time, sin can no longer be tolerated in our lives. If we want to fully live the free, blessed, grace-filled life that Christ died for us to live then we need to step up to the plate and admit, release, and bring our sins into the open and completely destroy them from our midst - our lives.  

So, no more excuses, no excessive thinking, and absolutely no more hesitation – we know what, when, and who need to be removed from our lives, so let’s do it … NOW.

Faithfulness - Freedom

"...there was no accounting required... because they dealt faithfully." 2 Kings 22:7

The advantages of being faithful to God and to your everyday responsibilities (including family, job, yourself, and others) has advantages beyond compare. Now,don't get me wrong, as you become more and more trusted by God and man, you will be given more and more responsibility.  However, with those increased responsibilities comes the increase in freedom to manage them in a way that suits your personality, not a way that becomes micromanaged by others. Therefore, you will live in ease and peace as you take on more and more in life.

So, remain faithful through thick and thin, and watch the increase and freedom begin to flood your life in abundance, with grace and ease, and all thanks be to God.  

Praise Jesus - thank you God.

The most important piece of clothing

"...clothe yourselves therefore, as Gods chosen ones... and above all these [put on] love... " Colossians 3:12-14

No matter how many layers of clothing you put on, if you haven't put love on first, then you stand stark naked in the sight of Satan, and He will attack you with a vengeance before you even have a chance to run.

LOVE IS POWER, LOVE IS PROTECTION, LOVE IS PEACE, AND MOST OF ALL, LOVE IS GOD.  

Words from the worldly

“…Thus says the Lord: Do not be afraid of the words you have heard [from the ungodly; the worldly]…” 2 Kings 19:6

God’s Word has the only words we need to hearken to.  Words spoken to us in opposition to His Word aren’t even worthy of our time or our thoughts.

So, for an easy solution to someone who speaks to you in opposition to God: Put them on ‘mental ignore’ – calmly stand there and smile until they walk away in frustration.

The best answer

“But the people [of God] were silent and answered him [an idolater] not a word…” 2 Kings 18:36

Sometimes the best answer to those that think they are god is absolutely no answer at all.  Yep, a blank stare from a confident, faith-filled believer in Christ is enough to put any fool in his place.

Hallelujah

Fear God, and Him only

“…you shall not fear other gods.” 

2 Kings 17:37,38

There is only One to fear in this life of ours: God; The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Fear of anyone or anything else is idolatry (sin) that leads to destruction … death; but fear in God leads to life everlasting… Heaven.

Therefore, other than God, our Savior, fear is not an option – period!

Frustration or Peace?

"The mind governed by flesh is death [frustration, anger, worry, anxiety, hate, fear], but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace." Romans 8:6

Are you falling apart, frustrated, angry, upset, worried, bitter, or hateful? If so, then it is time to stop trying to be the leader of your own life, and let God take over.  You in yourself won't get very far, but if you put your life in God then you will ease through life in a peace that surpasses all [mans] understanding.

Give yourself, your life, to God; He'll do a whole lot better at running it then you can... guaranteed.

You are responsible for yourself

"...The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, nor the children for the fathers; but every man shall die for his own sin only." 2 Kings 14:6

Take responsibility for your own actions - without excuses, pride, lies, or worldly reasoning.  Step up to the plate for yourself; if you do wrong, then do what needs to be done to make it right with God and whoever else is involved. 

It's times for us to be completely accountable for everything we say and do, because when we begin to be responsibility for ourselves, then others will soon follow, making this world a place of integrity, strength, and a people the Lord can be proud of.

Repair God's house

"...and let them repair the Lord's house wherever any such need may be found." 2 Kings 12:5

Do you know that you are the Lord's house? Yes, He lives in you.  Therefore, ask, pray, and receive the Lord's guidance as to what parts of you (physically, mentally, and spiritually) need repair; a makeover. Once you do, He will come in like a flood, bringing healing, wholeness, and righteousness to those places that seem to be falling apart.  

Oh God is so good and so amazing when we place our lives in His hands.
