Untangle your life

“…Now their own doings surround and entangle them; they are before my face.” Hosea 7:2

Think about your life; as a matter of fact, make it a daily priority to think about your life and the choices you are making, directions you are going, and dreams you are dreaming. Are they God-approved, or are they fueled by selfish wants and desires?

Friends, I believe that many of our frustrations and complications are due to ourselves and the choices we are making.  Therefore, it is imperative to make time, every day, to pray about our lives; ask for wisdom and direction.  I believe that if we do, then, the roughness in our lives will smooth, and fires we are currently facing will be put out with the rain of God’s favor and blessings!!  So, make changes now so that the latter part of your life, becomes the better part of your life.

Obey the voice of the Lord your God

"Therefore now amend your words and doings and obey the voice of the Lord your God..." Jeremiah 26:13

Most God loving Christian adults know in our hearts the difference between right and wrong in regards to decisions we are making, actions we are taking, words we are speaking, etc.  Therefore, if there is parts of our lives that we know aren't right, especially in the eyes of God, then it is of utmost - sometimes the difference between life and death - that we make some changes - fast!

For instance, I can get on the band wagon of gossip very easily, and it only takes a second to know it is not right.  Thankfully, I've become more mature in Christ, so I've begun to quickly jump off and repent.  What about you? What is something that you find yourself doing that you know isn't right in the sight of God?  Whatever it is, God is quick to forgive, so jump off the bandwagon of sin, repent for your wrongs, and let Him cover you with His saving grace..."In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength..." (Acts 17:11).

So, make sure to get right with the Lord, make amends where necessary, and then let His covering of forgiveness take you over.  Not only will you become more mature in Him, you will feel renewed and revived, enabling you to proceed into the next blessed dimension of your life, growing closer and closer to Him everyday - halleluiah.
